Apostle Grace Lubega
2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (KJV); (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
When the enemy attacks a believer, his attacks are aimed at our knowledge of God. Take a look at the adverse circumstances of your life, you will realise that they are a challenge to what you know about God.
Disease is a challenge to our knowledge that God is a healer. Financial struggle is a challenge to our knowledge that He is a God of providence. Loss is a challenge to our knowledge that He is the God of preservation. All forms of struggle are attempts by the devil to exalt himself against our knowledge of God.
Your part as a believer is to bring all these circumstances to the obedience of Christ.
How do we obey? We obey by agreeing with God in His Word. When the devil challenges your knowledge of the healing God, look to the scriptures and remind him that by the stripes of the Lord Jesus, you were healed (1 Peter 2:24). When the devil challenges your knowledge of the God who provides, look to the Word and declare, “He is the God who supplies all my needs according to His riches in glory.” (Philippians 4:19).
When we do this, the Bible is clear on what happens next. In 2 Corinthians 10:6, the scripture says, “And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.”
When we obey God by agreeing with what His Word says, all disobedience (sickness, failure, lack) is punished.

GOLDEN NUGGET: All forms of struggle are attempts by the devil to exalt himself against our knowledge of God. Your part as a believer is to bring all these circumstances to the obedience of Christ. We obey by agreeing with God in His Word.
PRAYER: My Lord, I thank You for the priceless gift of Your Word. It is the sword with which I wage war. No matter how difficult the circumstance, I look to the Word as the fountain of truth. As I declare it over my life, I see victory and transformation, to the glory of Your name, Amen.
