Apostle Grace Lubega
2 Timothy 2:21(KJV): If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.
—
There can never be an elevation for you in the things of God without some form of consecration.
Consecration always precedes elevation.
This consecration may take the form of what is described in our theme scripture. The language of the Bible is “If a man therefore purge himself…”
This is what I like to call private consecration.
It entails things that God expects and requires you to do in response to His convictions, invitations and the signs of the seasons of your life.
For example, you may find yourself deeply moved and convicted to pray more than you have ever done before because God wants to prepare you for a bigger and greater responsibility in ministry.
Private consecration requires you to deliberately set aside moments of prayer and fasting in response to these urges. It is not enough to feel the need to pray, you must respond to it. It is not enough to find yourself awake in the middle of the night continually at a specific hour. What are you doing about it?
Learn the wisdom to PURGE YOURSELF. When opportunity comes, it will always find you ready.
Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET: There can never be an elevation for you in the things of God without some form of consecration. Consecration always precedes elevation.
PRAYER: My Father, I thank You for this word. Thank you for inviting me into deeper places in You. I am alive to the signs of the times and I know how to respond. By this wisdom, no divine opportunity will pass me by, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
