Apostle Grace Lubega
Proverbs 20:21 (KJV); An inheritance may be gotten hastily at the beginning; But the end thereof shall not be blessed.
Our generation has been unflatteringly referred to as ‘the microwave generation.’
We live in an era obsessed with instant results. It is fast foods, instant messaging and readily available phone applications giving us quick answers. Everything is accessible fast and quick.
This has also shaped some people’s understanding of success. They assume that one can enter the microwave of success and pop out minutes later with his or her star polished and bright enough for all to see.
This has caused some to jump on the bandwagon of get rich quick schemes and is one of the reasons for the entitled mentality of many young people.
Our theme scripture warns us that any inheritance obtained hastily at the beginning does not have a blessed end. Anything you enter into without adequate preparation most often than not has a bitter ending.
Success has a process. God respects preparation because it helps you develop the kind of character that can sustain greatness.
Allow God to lead you, deal with you and elevate you on His terms. That is the guarantee that you will not be destroyed by the very places He grants you access.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this knowledge. Thank You for how You are dealing with me. I understand the wildernesses of life and know how to be patient as You work in me. I honour every opportunity for growth that You give unto me and allow myself to be tended, pruned and grown by You, in Jesus name, Amen.
