Apostle Grace Lubega
Titus 1:5 (KJV): “For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee.”
—
Our theme scripture reveals a pattern for how divine appointments occur.
Paul instructed his son Titus to “set in order the things that are wanting,” and afterward to appoint elders in every city. This shows us a powerful principle: true appointments come only after certain things have been set in order.
Before God appoints and elevates individuals, there are matters that must be properly arranged in their spirits—and in the right order. For example: Have you learned how to hear God clearly? Do you know how to find your way back to Him if you drift? Can you build according to the pattern revealed from heaven?
When people step into appointments without having these foundations set in order, they often struggle once they are in position. Many find themselves going backward to learn lessons they previously missed—lessons that were essential for sustaining them in the places to which they have been called.
Child of God, the Lord desires to use you even more than you desire to be used by Him. However, you must allow Him to teach you. Let Him prepare you for the work He has set before you. Some lessons must be learned before others because they are foundational. Allow Him to show you what must come first, so that your growth will always follow His pattern. Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET: True appointments come only after certain things have been set in order.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I am grateful for Your word. Thank You for preparing me for what I must do and become. My spirit is wholly yielded to You. I will not miss the lessons You place before me, regardless of how they come. I am attentive to Your instructions and aligned with Your patterns for all I am called to do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
