Apostle Grace Lubega
1 Timothy 6:12 (KJV); Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
What makes the fight of faith a good fight? Is it the absence of struggle? Is it because the presence of faith waters down the intensity of challenging circumstances? No.
If one is facing up to a bad doctor’s report and they have to stand in faith, what is so good about that?
If you have to deal with the potential collapse of a business in which you have invested every resource, what is so good about fighting in faith?
If your child’s life is taking a downward turn because of drug addictions, where is the goodness in this fight?
Faith does not mean that the storms of life are less fierce, the fires of crisis are less hot or that the waters of adversity have lower tides.
Faith is a good fight because God has guaranteed that you have already won. Every time you bring the fight into the arena of faith, rest assured that victory has your name on it.

PRAYER: My Father, I thank You for this truth. I stand steadfastly in the reality of the truth of Your Word. My life is patterned in faith. No matter the circumstances that come my way, I choose the good fight because that is how we win. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
