Apostle Grace Lubega
John 3:5 (KJV); Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Salvation is the greatest miracle. This is why the winning of souls is one of the primary mandates of the Church of Christ.
One of the most indelible marks of a prosperous ministry, one that is in the perfect will of God, is soul-winning.
If a ministry is not winning souls to the Kingdom of God, there hangs a great question mark over its relevance to the eternal plan of heaven and divine purpose.
Indeed, it is godly for the blind to see, the lame to walk, the deaf to hear, for demons to be cast out of the possessed, and for all manner of miracles to happen within a congregation.
However, God can grow a man’s limb but that same man may still not go to heaven. A man might receive his sight only to follow a straight path into eternal damnation.
The Master paints a solemn picture of this truth in Matthew 18:8 when He says that it is better for a man to enter into life maimed than having two hands or feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
Today, I urge you to take the responsibility of soul-winning much more seriously. Let it be a part of your goals, plans, and aspirations. You should not allow a week or month to pass when you have not reached out to a lost soul.
I leave you with the words of the man of God, Charles Spurgeon who famously said, “If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to hell over our dead bodies. And if they perish, let them perish with our arms wrapped about their knees, imploring them to stay. If hell must be filled, let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one go unwarned and unprayed for.”

GOLDEN NUGGET: Salvation is the greatest miracle. Take the responsibility of soul-winning much more seriously. Let it be a part of your goals, plans, and aspirations. You should not allow a week or month to pass when you have not reached out to a lost soul.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. I heed the noble commandment of the Great Commission. The Bible says that the wise win souls. I am a soul winner because Your wisdom is working in my spirit. My heart beats for the lost and with fervour, I preach Your message of salvation, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
