Apostle Grace Lubega
2 Corinthians 9:7 (NKJV); So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
God takes no pleasure in cheerless giving.
He instructs each one of us to give as he purposes in his heart.
Giving then is a heart issue; it is not a mental issue.
We do not give to God simply because our minds have been convinced; we give because our hearts are CONVICTED to do so.
When He speaks of purpose, understand that the conviction to give comes from the revelation of God’s purpose.
A man who grumbles about giving has not understood divine purpose.
A cheerful giver understands the great mandate of the Church.
A cheerful giver beholds the vision of what God is doing in his generation and seeks to be part of it.
Hallelujah!

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this wisdom. I do not give out of necessity. I see what You are doing and align myself with it. I give because divine purpose has been revealed to me, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
