Apostle Grace Lubega
Genesis 32:9-12 (KJV); And Jacob said, O God of my father Abraham, and God of my father Isaac, the Lord which saidst unto me, Return unto thy country, and to thy kindred, and I will deal well with thee: I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies, and of all the truth, which thou hast shewed unto thy servant; for with my staff I passed over this Jordan; and now I am become two bands. Deliver me, I pray thee, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau: for I fear him, lest he will come and smite me, and the mother with the children. And thou saidst, I will surely do thee good, and make thy seed as the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude.
Jacob understood the power of the promises of God. When faced with the possibility of an attack from his brother, he reminded God about His promise to do him good and make his seed as the sand of the sea.
This is the same attitude we must adopt in prayer. Besides provoking God through His promises, it matters what you ask for.
Some people remind the Lord of His promises but ask for small things such as rent or money for a new phone. In Mark 11:24, God gave you a blank cheque. Why not ask for the world?
I urge you to pray BIG. Because His promises are yes and amen(2 Corinthians 1:20), ask Him for things that money cannot buy.
In Habakkuk 2:2, the Bible says, “Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”
What you ask for in prayer should make a man run because it is too great for human comprehension.
Ask for nations and continents, for what no eye has seen, ear has heard and has not entered into the hearts of men.

GOLDEN NUGGET: Ask for nations and continents, for what no eye has seen, ear has heard and has not entered into the hearts of men.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You because nothing is impossible for You. Your Word says that I can ask for whatsoever I desire. I understand Your perfect will and with eagerness, I receive what You give, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
