Apostle Grace Lubega
John 10:10 (NKJV): “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
—
The Bible reveals what the enemy came to do: to steal, to kill, and to destroy.
Some people assume that Christ came merely to do the opposite of what the devil came to do. They suppose that if the devil came to steal, then Christ came to restore what was stolen; if the devil came to kill, then Jesus came to resurrect what had died; and if the devil came to destroy, then Jesus came to rebuild what was destroyed.
While Christ indeed accomplished all this through His death and resurrection, it is important to understand why the language of our theme scripture simply says that Jesus came that we might have life. In spite of the stealing, killing, and destruction of the enemy, God’s answer was one: the life of God.
This life is the answer to the issues and problems of life, whether poverty, witchcraft, disease, or any other work of darkness. Where the life of God is, the works of the enemy are automatically destroyed.
The call to you as a child of God is to set your heart on this life. It is the answer. As you exercise yourself in its reality, darkness flees and the works of the enemy bow.
Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET: This life of God is the answer to the issues and problems of life, whether poverty, witchcraft, disease, or any other work of darkness. Where the life is, the works of the enemy are automatically destroyed.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this word. I thank You because Your life in me is greater than every work of darkness and every attack of the devil. I choose to walk in its fullness every day. By this life, I have overcome sickness, poverty, fear, destruction, and every limitation of the enemy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
