Apostle Grace Lubega
Philippians 3:10(KJV); That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
To know Jesus and the power of His resurrection is one of the utmost things required of the body of Christ.
Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2:2 that he resolved to know nothing except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
To understand Christ at the cross is to understand Him at His weakest point.
At the cross, He appeared to be at His lowest point, the victim of the envies of the religious men of His day and the scheming of the enemy.
At the cross, He was stripped of His dignity and left to hang like a common thief.
This understanding is important because, in weakness, God’s power is always made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9).
What this means is that you cannot fully understand the power of God demonstrated through Christ without understanding the state of weakness at the cross.
While to the world He appeared beaten, God was in fact at work, manifesting power and strength.
In death, He made a public spectacle of the demons in hell. In death, He brought many sons to glory. In death, He redeemed humanity. In death, He overcame all the forces and powers of the enemy.
Glory to His name!

GOLDEN NUGGET: You cannot fully understand the power of God demonstrated through Christ without understanding His state of weakness at the cross. While to the world He appeared weak, God was in fact at work, manifesting power and strength.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this Word. I understand who You are and the great work at Calvary. This revelation works in my life, to give strength where there is weakness, endurance where there is wavering and assurance where there is uncertainty. When I see weakness, instead I see strength because it means that Your power is at work. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
