1 Corinthians 14:40 (KJV): Let all things be done decently and in order.

When some people read our theme scripture, they look at it in the context of order in service only. It is interpreted in the sense of the program for a church service: praise and worship, announcements, and the preaching of the Word.
However, there is more to it than that!
The language of the scripture is ‘let ALL things be done decently and in order.’ There is an order to spiritual things, the realm of the spirit, and even to life in general.
For example, how do you treat a minister who is higher in spiritual rank than yourself?
How do you respond to your leaders when they offend you? In Ecclesiastes 10:4, the Bible says, “If the spirit of the ruler rise up against thee, leave not thy place; for yielding pacifieth great offences.”
How do you treat the elderly? The order is laid out in 1 Timothy 5:2. The Bible says we ought to treat the elderly women as mothers.
How do you treat the less privileged person on the street? There is an order to that too.
In Hebrews 13:2, the order requires that you “be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.”
Some frustrations in life are born out of abusing this order. Maturity in the Christian walk demands that you understand the protocol of life and the spirit.

Wanneer sommige mensen onze thematekst lezen, kijken ze er alleen naar in de context van orde in dienstbaarheid. Het wordt geïnterpreteerd in de zin van het programma voor een kerkdienst: lofprijs en aanbidding, aankondigingen en de verkondiging van het Woord.
Er is echter meer aan de hand dan dat!
De taal van de Schrift is: ‘Laat ALLE dingen fatsoenlijk en ordelijk gebeuren.’ Er is een orde in geestelijke dingen, in het rijk van de geest, en zelfs in het leven in het algemeen.
Bijvoorbeeld, hoe behandel je een predikant die in geestelijke rang hoger staat dan jijzelf?
Hoe reageer je op je leiders als ze je beledigen? In Prediker 10:4 zegt de Bijbel: “Als de geest van de heerser tegen u opstaat, verlaat dan uw plaats niet; voor het toegeven aan grote overtredingen.”
Hoe behandel je de ouderen? De volgorde wordt uiteengezet in 1 Timotheüs 5:2. De Bijbel zegt dat we de oudere vrouwen als moeders moeten behandelen.
Hoe ga je om met de minderbedeelden op straat? Daar hoort ook een bevel bij.
In Hebreeën 13:2 vereist het bevel dat je “niet vergeet om vreemden te ontvangen: want daardoor hebben sommigen onverwacht engelen ontvangen.”
Sommige frustraties in het leven komen voort uit het misbruiken van deze orde. Volwassenheid in de christelijke wandel vereist dat je het protocol van het leven en de geest begrijpt.

HET GOUDKLOMPJE: Er is een orde in geestelijke dingen, in het rijk van de geest, en zelfs in het leven in het algemeen. Sommige frustraties in het leven komen voort uit het misbruiken van deze orde.
GEBED: Liefdevolle Vader, ik dank U voor deze waarheid. Dank U voor de wijsheid die mij wijst op hoe ik mijn leven moet leiden en de paden van dwaling moet vermijden. Ik overtreed het spirituele protocol niet omdat mijn geest getemd is om te begrijpen hoe ik elke persoon behandel die ik tegenkom en die mijn pad kruist, in Jezus’ naam, Amen.
DIE ORDNUNG ALLER DINGE

Wenn manche Menschen unsere thematische Schriftstelle lesen, sehen sie diese nur im Zusammenhang mit der Gottesdienstordnung. Der Bibelvers wird im Hinblick auf das Programm eines Gottesdienstes so verstanden: Lobpreis und Anbetung, Verkündigung und Predigt des Wortes.
Allerdings steckt noch mehr dahinter!
Die Formulierung der Schriftstelle ist: „Alles soll anständig und ordentlich zugehen.” Es gibt eine Ordnung für geistliche Dinge, das Reich des Geistes und sogar für das Leben im Allgemeinen.
Wie behandelt man zum Beispiel einen Amtsträger, der im geistlichen Rang höher steht als man selbst?
Wie reagiert man auf seine Vorgesetzten, wenn sie einen kränken? In Prediger 10,4 sagt die Bibel: „Wenn der Unmut des Herrschers gegen dich aufsteigt, so verlasse deinen Posten nicht; denn Gelassenheit verhütet große Sünden.“
Wie behandelt man ältere Menschen? Die Anleitung dafür findet sich in 1. Timotheus 5,2. Die Bibel sagt, dass wir die älteren Frauen wie Mütter behandeln sollen.
Wie behandelt man einen benachteiligten Menschen auf der Straße? Auch dafür gibt es eine Anweisung.
In Hebräer 13,2 heißt es: „Vernachlässigt nicht die Gastfreundschaft; denn durch sie haben etliche ohne ihr Wissen Engel beherbergt“.
Manche Frustrationen sind die Folge der Missachtung dieser Gebote. Um als Christ erwachsen zu werden, sollte man das Reglement des Lebens und des Geistes verstehen.

FAZIT: Manche Frustrationen sind die Folge von Missachtung dieser Gebote. Um als Christ erwachsen zu werden, sollte man die Ordnung des Lebens und des Geistes verstehen.
GEBET: Lieber Vater, ich danke Dir für diese Erkenntnis. Danke für die Weisheit, die mir zeigt, wie ich mein Leben führen und mich von den Pfaden des Irrtums fernhalten muss. Ich verstoße nicht gegen die geistliche Ordnung, weil mein Geist gezügelt wurde, damit ich weiß, wie man jeden Menschen behandelt, der mir begegnet und der meinen Weg kreuzt, in Jesu Namen, Amen.
