Apostle Grace Lubega
Matthew 8:5-8 (KJV); And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him, And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
Faith is one of the most powerful laws in the realm of spirits. Part of its power is in the fact that it has no respect for time or distance.
Our theme scripture is a reflection of the distance-defying power of faith.
It is not physical proximity to the anointing that brings the answers, faith does.
Some people have been prayed for by hands being physically laid on them but they never got healed while others were not in the immediate vicinity of those who prayed for them but they got healed.
What made the difference? Faith.
It is inherent in the nature of faith to shrink distances and deliver results.
God has extended to us this liberty as His children. We do not have to be limited by physical spaces in order to demonstrate the power of God.
God does not need proximity to effect change. Why should you? It is in exercising ourselves in such liberties that we reveal our true identity as sons of the omnipresent and omnipotent God!

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for the power of faith at work in me. Thank You because even as the Word comes to me every day, I am stirred to believe You more than ever before. I send a word and people are healed; send a word and deliverance comes; send a word and fix situations because that is my authority, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
