Apostle Grace Lubega
1 Corinthians 13:11(KJV); When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
A wise man once said, “If you knew the power of your thoughts, you would never think a negative thought again”
Besides the fact that thinking is a creative process, thoughts also determine your speech.
The Bible says that out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks (Matthew 12:34).
What you think about will eventually find expression in your words. If you constantly think about failing in one aspect of your life or the other, it will be hard for you to control yourself from putting words to your worries.
What does the Bible say about the tongue?
It says that death and life are in the power of the tongue and those that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. (Proverbs 18:21).
Because what you think influences what you say, your thoughts will eventually kill you or give you life.
It doesn’t matter how positive your speech is. If the thinking is wrong, the mouth will eventually follow the mind.
Transformation does not merely start with right speaking; it starts with right thinking.
Choose to start with your thoughts and align them to the Word of God. As you do so, the confession of your lips will cease to be an exercise in pretentious optimism. The realities of the God-life will manifest in everything that you do.

GOLDEN NUGGET: Transformation does not merely start with right speaking; it starts with right thinking.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this knowledge. I thank You for the power of your Word that transforms my thoughts. I do not conform to this world in outlook or attitude. The meditations of my heart are continually pleasant to You. I bear the fruits of right thought. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
