Child of God, today, I urge you to examine your prayer life.
Do you only pray for yourself? Is it your habit to only talk to the Lord on things pertaining to your life and needs?
Paul’s life is very instructive on how a truly praying Christian ought to live.
In our theme scripture, he speaks of how he always made requests to God with joy in every prayer of his for the Philippian Church. He has this same attitude towards other churches and believers too.
I know Christians who have been attending a ministry for years but have never bothered to pray for their church or their spiritual leaders.
How do you expect to have a part in what God is doing through your church and for your church to have its part in you when you have never taken time to pray for the ministry?
It is wisdom and maturity to pray for the ministry and your spiritual leaders.
Some of the questions you are having about whether you are in the right church or not are because you have never prayed for your ministry. It is such prayers that bring clarity of belonging.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this word. Thank You for the ministry I am a part of. By wisdom, You planted me where I am for a reason. Thank You for the mandate, for my leaders, for each minister and the great things You are doing through us, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
