Apostle Grace Lubega
Numbers 14:23-24 (KJV); Surely they shall not see the land which I sware unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it: But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.
What set aside Caleb from the rest of the children of Israel? What made him the exception to the general rule? Why did he and Joshua enter the promised land yet the rest of Israel perished in the wilderness?
The Lord reveals the secret through our theme scripture.
The Bible says of Caleb that he FOLLOWED fully.
Spirits that die in the wilderness do not know how to follow.
What then is to follow? Is it merely listening to and obeying instructions? Is it to simply be a part of a ministry? Is it to be present for every sermon preached by your man or woman of God?
Multitudes followed Jesus but that does not mean that they followed Him in the true sense of the word.
To follow is the ability to see by the Spirit the new thing available in your generation when an old womb is closing.
It is the spirit of the follower in Caleb that enabled him to let go of any Egypt-like mindset as God brought Israel through the wilderness and into the promised land. It is the spirit of the follower that worked in the disciples to recognise that Christ represented an end to the Old Covenant and was the beginning of a new one.
True followers discern the move of the Spirit in their dispensation. Followers are conscious of the changes in the times and seasons of the spirit. Followers are not stuck in the past, clinging to what God did and are perpetually aware of what He is continually doing.

GOLDEN NUGGET: True followers discern the move of the Spirit in their dispensation. Followers are conscious of the changes in the times and seasons of the spirit. Followers are not stuck in the past, clinging to what God did and are perpetually aware of what He is continually doing.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. My spirit is alive to what You are doing in our times. I cannot miss Your plans and purposes for my life because I know how to follow. I discern the times and I know their signs. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
