Apostle Grace Lubega
Acts 24:16 (KJV); And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.
Before God commissions a man, He purifies his conscience.
This purified conscience is defined by Paul in our theme scripture as one that is void of offence toward God and man.
A purified conscience is very important to the Lord because it means that the Lord’s servant hears Him with no hindrances and easily responds to spiritual things.
God knows that the mission field has no room for carnality. A man must be spiritually alive to survive the tests and trials that come with being a servant of the Most High God.
On the mission field, you deal with people from all walks of life, with all sorts of histories and all manner of expectations.
If you are not alive in the spirit and your conscience is not purified, you may destroy many. Your response and attitude must be a God-response because you are the vessel through which He seeks to reach and touch those people.

GOLDEN NUGGET: A purified conscience is very important to the Lord because it means that the Lord’s servant hears Him with no hindrances and easily responds to spiritual things.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You for dealing with my spirit daily. My heart is truly yielded and I hear You more deeply every day. This is the very grace by which I serve You and impact many, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
