Apostle Grace Lubega
1 Corinthians 12:1 (RGT); Now, concerning spiritual things, brothers, I would not have you ignorant.
You are a spirit being. As a spirit being, you inhabit a world of spirits.
This not notwithstanding, some Christians are clueless about the world of spirits.
They are so detached from the realities of that realm that they can easily be defined as materialists in philosophical outlook.
Paul admonishes us in our theme scripture and says that concerning spiritual things, he cannot have us ignorant.
Ignorance of spiritual things is a very expensive kind of ignorance. It is the reason why people enter draining relationships, why they get into disastrous business deals, why they hire the wrong people, or why they die from hopeless causes.
When was the last time you interacted with the realm in which you have been called to live, either by dreams, visions, revelation, or a word of knowledge? When was the last time your spiritual senses picked a message or instruction from that realm?
You must live a life of deep acquaintance with the realm of spirits. Life there is constantly happening and events that affect you directly are always unfolding. You cannot afford to be passive about these realities.
Be deliberate in exercising your senses and in functioning as a spirit being. Be constantly sensitive to what the Spirit of God is saying. Never take a spiritual instruction, be it a dream or a vision for granted. Grow in this consciousness every day.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this Word. I know who I am and the nature that I carry. I grow daily in the awareness of the world of spirits. Nothing takes me off guard because I am constantly tuned in and connected to the spiritual realm. I do not just visit, I live there. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
