Apostle Grace Lubega
Proverbs 4:7 (KJV); Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
In the quest for wisdom, it is imperative that you seek ALL wisdom.
It is truly tragic for a man to be a success in ministry yet fail in his marriage. It is uninspiring for one to succeed in his business but fail in his personal life.
As a child of God, you are not a pattern in only a few things but in ALL things. The Bible plainly lays out this obligation in Titus 2:7 and says, “In ALL things shewing thyself a pattern of good works.”
You are an epistle, known and read by all men (2 Corinthians 3:2). Do you wish them to admire the success of your career in chapter one and marvel at your complete inability to raise a family in chapter two?
That is not the script that God has written about your life. He made you a city on a hill that cannot be hid (Matthew 5:14). There must not be dark shadows in your testimony.
Therefore, make it a choice to seek the perfection of God in every area of your life.
Your success must be three sixty degrees. If the ministry is struggling but the marriage is a success, make the deliberate choice to seek the wisdom that builds ministry. If your children are failing but the ministry is a success, pay the price to understand how children are raised in a godly pattern.
