Apostle Grace Lubega
Job 38:1-2 (KJV); Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said, Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?
Crises of life will come. The crises may be of your own making or may be caused by circumstances beyond your control. They will come because we live in a fallen world.
However, to the child of God, the crises are not the real issue. The issue is how to stay connected to the Spirit of God even in the deepest crisis.
Sadly, it is during crises that many people darken counsel without knowledge.
They do this by distancing themselves from the presence of God because they feel overwhelmed by circumstances. An example of this is the sister or brother who has stayed away from church for the past three months because they are battling depression and feel disappointed because God did not intervene in a bad episode of their lives.
Darkening counsel is when we stop praying because we feel that the mistakes we have made are too grave and as such, we are no longer worthy to appear in the presence of God.
Even when he feels lost, a wise man never darkens counsel, he knows how to find God. It does not matter how far he may have fallen, it matters that even in that fallen state, he can still hear God.
So, regardless of what you have done or what you are going through, never leave the presence of God. It is in the presence that you will know what you ought to do. It is in the presence that you will find the instruction that will be your way out of that terrible circumstance.

GOLDEN NUGGET: Even when he feels lost, a wise man never darkens counsel, he knows how to find God. It does not matter how far he may have fallen, it matters that even in that fallen state, he can still hear God.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this Word. I know that Your arms are constantly outstretched and ready to receive me. I can never be deceived into thinking that You have cast me away from Your presence. I know that You will never leave me nor forsake me. That is the confidence with which I live my life. Even in the deepest places of trouble, I know how to hear You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
