Psalm 89:20 (KJV); I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:
David is one of the personalities in the scriptures that has greatly influenced my understanding of the anointing.
In deliberately studying his life, I understood what it means to fall in love with the presence of God.
From the scriptures, we see so many verses that are a reflection of the kind of life he lived. He made statements like, “One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple.” Psalm 27:4 (KJV).
“As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?” Psalm 42:1-2 (NIV).
He said, “Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.” Psalm 84:10 (NIV).
All these scriptures point to one thing, he knew how to enjoy the presence of God.
There are people who are praying to God and seeking His face but there is toil in their seeking. Prayer is a burden to them that they must be done with before they can move on to the next delightful thing.
Until you learn to love the presence, you can never serve in the presence.
God must teach you to love His presence. It is possible to be so lost in His presence that you lose track of time. It is possible to live a life where your moments in the presence of God are what you look forward to above all else. It is possible to seek God past the requirement of duty. Prayer can become a love affair and God is calling you to this reality.

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this Word. Thank You for Your open invitation into Your presence. It is love that draws me there and love that keeps me there. I am launching deeper into You because my moments with You are above duty but overflow out of the love relationship we share. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Dawudi y’omu ku bantu mu byawandiikibwa aluηηamizza ennyo entegeera yange ku mafuta.
Mu kugenderera okusoma obulamu bwe. Nnategeera kye kitegeeza okugwa mu mukwano n’okubeerawo kwa Katonda.
Okuva mu byawandiikibwa, tulaba ennyiriri nnyingi nnyo eziraga ekika ky’obulamu bwe yabeeramu. Yayogera ebigambo nga, “Ekigambo kimu nkisabye Mukama, kye nnaanoonyanga; Okutuulanga mu nnyumba ya Mukama ennaku zonna ez’obulamu bwange, Okutunuuliranga obulungi bwa Mukama, n’okubuuzanga mu yeekaalu ye.” Zabbuli 27:4 (KJV).
“Ng’empeewo bw’ewejjawejja olw’amazzi, Bw’etyo n’emmeeme yange bw’ewejjawejja ku lulwo, ai Katonda. Emmeeme yange erumwa enjala ku lwa Katonda, ku lwa Katonda omulamu: Ndituuka ddi ne ndabika mu maaso ga Katonda?” Zabbuli 42:1-2 (NIV).
Yagamba nti, “Kubanga olunaku lumu mu mpya zo lusinga olukumi. Njagala okuba omuggazi mu nnyumba ya Katonda wange Okusinga okutuula mu weema ez’obubi.” Zabbuli 84:10 (NIV).
Ebyawandiikibwa bino byonna bisonga ku kintu kimu, yali amanyi okunyumirwa okubeerawo kwa Katonda.
Waliyo abantu abasaba Katonda era nga banoonya okubeerawo kwe naye mulimu okulafuubana mu kunoonya kwabwe. Okusaba mugugu gye bali gwe balina okumaliriza bagweggyeko nga tebannagenda ku kintu ekiddako ekisanyusa.
Okutuusa ng’oyize okwagala okubeerawo, tolisobola kuweereza mu kubeerawo.
Katonda alina okukuyigiriza okwagala okubeerawo Kwe. Kisoboka okubulira ennyo mu kubeerawo Kwe n’otuuka n’okwerabira obudde. Kisoboka okubeera mu bulamu ng’ebiseera byo mu kubeerawo Kwe by’oyaayaanira okusinga ekirala kyonna. Kisoboka okunoonya Katonda okusukkuluma ku bwetaavu bw’okusaba ng’obuvunaanyizibwa. Essaala esobola okufuuka enkolagana ey’okwagala era Katonda akuyita eri obwannamaddala buno.

Zaaburi 89:20 (KJV); Mboine Daudi omwiru wangye, Naamushukaho amajuta gangye agarikwera.
Daudi n’omwe aha bantu abari omu byahandiikirwe abanyambire munonga kwetegyereza amajuta.
Omu kushoma amagara gye n’obweziriki, nk’etegyereza eki kirikumanyisa kugira rukundo y’okuba omu maisho ga Ruhanga.
Omu byahandiikirwe, nitureeba emishororongo myingi erikworeka ekishushani ky’amagara gye. Akagamba ebigambo nk’ebi, “Ekigambo eki nshabire MUKAMA ni kimwe, kandi nikyo ndiguma ninsherura; Nikwo kuguma omu nju ya MUKAMA ebiro byona eby’amagara gangye, Okureeba oburungi bwa MUKAMA, n’okwehanuuza omuri hekalu ye.” Zaaburi 27:4 (KJV).
“Nk’oku empara egira ekyaka neeyenda amaizi, N’omutima gwangye nikwo gugira ekyaka ahabwawe, ai Ruhanga. Amagara gangye gagirira Ruhanga eiriho, Ruhanga ohuriire; Ndyaija ryari, nkareebwa omu maisho ga Ruhanga?” Zaaburi 42:1-2 (NIV).
Akagira ati, “Ahakuba okumara ekiro kimwe omu bikaari byawe nikikira okumara ebiro rukumi ahandi. Nkaayenzire kuba omukumiirizi omu nju ya Ruhanga wangye, okukira okutuura omu mahema g’obubi.” Zaaburi 84:10 (NIV).
Ebyahandiikirwe ebi byoona nibyorekyerera ekintu kimwe, akaba namanya kushemerererwa omu kwiija omu maisho ga Ruhanga.
Hariho abantu abarikushaba Ruhanga n’okumusherura kwonka okusherura kwabo kurimu okuhendeka. Aharibo, okushaba n’omutwaro ogubaine kubanza kwetuura bakabona kweyongyerayo kuza aha kirikukurataho ekirikubashemeza.

HUDUMA YA KWELI – 2

Zaburi 89:20 (KJV); Nimemwona Daudi, mtumishi wangu, Nimempaka mafuta yangu matakatifu.
Daudi ni mmojawapo wa haiba katika maandiko aliyeathiri sana uelewa wangu wa upako.
Katika kusoma kwa kimakusudi maisha yake, nilielewa inamaanisha nini kupenda uwepo wa Mungu.
Kutoka kwa maandiko, tunaona aya nyingi ambazo zinaonyesha aina ya maisha aliyoishi. Alitoa kauli kama, “Neno Moja nimelitaka kwa BWANA, Nalo ndilo nitakalolitafuta, Nikae nyumbani mwa BWANA Siku zote za maisha yangu, Niutazame uzuri wa BWANA, Na kutafakari hekaluni mwake.” Zaburi 27:4 (KJV).
“Kama ayala aioneavyo shauku mito ya maji. Vivyo hivyo nafsi yangu inakuonea shauku, Ee Mungu. Nafsi yangu inamwonea kiu MUNGU, Mungu aliye hai, Lini nitakapokuja nionekane mbele za Mungu?” Zaburi 42:1-2 (NIV).
Alisema, “Hakika siku moja katika nyua zako Ni bora kuliko siku elfu. Ningependa kuwa bawabu nyumbani mwa Mungu wangu, Kuliko kukaa katika hema za uovu.” Zaburi 84:10 (NIV).
Maandiko haya yote yanaonyesha jambo moja, alijua jinsi ya kufurahia uwepo wa Mungu.
Kuna watu ambao wanamwomba Mungu na kuutafuta uso Wake lakini kuna ugumu katika kutafuta kwao. Maombi ni mzigo kwao ambao lazima wamalizane nao ndio waweze kuendelea na jambo la kupendeza linalofuata.
Hadi ujifunze kupenda uwepo, kamwe huwezi kutumikia ndani yake.
Lazima Mungu akufunze kupenda uwepo wake. Inawezekana kuzama ndani ya uwepo Wake hata upoteze muda. Inawezekana kuishi maisha ambapo nyakati zako mbele za Mungu ndizo unazotazamia juu ya yote. Inawezekana kumtafuta Mungu kupita mahitaji ya wajibu. Maombi yanaweza kuwa jambo la mapenzi na Mungu anakuita kwenye ukweli huu.
