Numbers 12:4-8 (KJV); And the Lord spake suddenly unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and unto Miriam, Come out ye three unto the tabernacle of the congregation. And they three came out. And the Lord came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam: and they both came forth. And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the Lord will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house. With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the Lord shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?
Spiritual judgement requires the reconciliation of intellect and revelation.
Not everyone is qualified to judge the matters of the Spirit. It does not matter how intelligent and intellectually superior that person assumes they are.
This is the error of some people. They assume that their intellectual competence is the qualification required to judge spiritual matters. This is not the case because you may have intellect but insufficient revelation and thus be unqualified to judge.
In judging Moses, Miriam and Aaron erred in this manner.
Intellectually speaking, it was wrong for Moses to have married an Ethiopian woman because the law prohibited the men of Israel from doing so. By this reasoning, Miriam and Aaron were right.
If they were intellectually right, why did God rebuke them for daring to question Moses’ decision?
Judging matters of the Spirit is not based on what you perceive only with your mind and the power of reason. It also requires revelation.
Many things go into judgement based on revelation. It involves knowing the state of the man’s heart before God, His plan for that man’s life and the bigger picture of divine purpose. The inability to understand these disqualifies many men from judging spiritual matters.

PRAYER: My loving Father, I thank You for this wisdom. Thank You for the Spirit of Revelation at work in me. I do not exercise myself in matters too high for me because I understand the ways of God. I look at circumstances through Your eyes because my vision has been elevated, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Hukumu ya kiroho inahitaji upatanisho wa akili na ufunuo.
Sio kila mtu amefuzu kuhukumu mambo ya Roho. Haijalishi mtu huyo anadhani ana uwezo wa akili na weledi mkubwa.
Hili ni kosa la baadhi ya watu. Wanadhani kwamba umahiri wao wa kiakili ni sifa inayohitajika kuhukumu mambo ya kiroho. Hivi sivyo kwa sababu unaweza kuwa na akili lakini usiwe na ufunuo wa kutosha na hivyo kutofuzu kuhukumu.
