Apostle Grace Lubega
Matthew 6:33(KJV); But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
There are things that God has designed to seek the believer.
For example, David in Psalm 23:6 speaks of goodness and mercy following him.
What this means is that these various things have a conscience and know who and how to follow.
Money has a conscience, that is why it answers (Ecclesiastes 10:19). Material possessions have a conscience, they follow. Jobs and opportunities have a conscience, they follow.
You should not seek the things God has designed to seek you. Every time you set your mind to seek what must seek you, you ignore the ultimate pursuit of the Christian life: God.
Today, I urge you to commit yourself to seeking Him alone. May your prayer time be defined by the desire to know Him more. Purpose to find His heart and not what His hands can give.
Find God, the rest will follow.

GOLDEN NUGGET: Every time you set your mind to seek what must seek you, you ignore the ultimate pursuit of the Christian life: God.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You for pointing me to what truly matters. My heart and mind are fully set on You. My soul is locked in the pursuit of You and You alone, to the glory of Your name, Amen.
