Apostle Grace Lubega
Colossians 3:3 (MSG); Your old life is dead. Your new life, which is your [real] life–even though invisible to spectators–is with Christ in God. [He] is your life.
Perception equals reality and reality is your world.
What does this mean?
What you perceive defines what you consider as real and what you regard as real becomes your world.
Somewhere in this world, a man is battling stage I cancer and will die from it. Another with stage IV cancer will live to a full ripe age despite his present illness.
Someone out there is suffering from a deeper affliction than another but he that is worse off is going to survive it while he with the lesser affliction is going to be destroyed by it in a few months.
The difference between these two kinds of people is in their perception of their realities. One sees himself as the victim and the other sees himself as a victor. One knows that his pain will not kill him, another is counting the days until it finishes him off.
Your life must be perceived through the revelation of Christ! It is what makes the difference between those that stand strong and those that faint in the face of adversity. Regardless of what your physical circumstances are, let Him define your reality.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. I thank You for opening my eyes to what my reality is. I cannot conform to this world. I live my life through the eyes of Your Word and allow it to define my truth, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
