Apostle Grace Lubega
Philippians 4:8 (KJV); Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
It is interesting to know that when the devil starts to speak, some people get into conversation with him because they do not know his voice.
You might think it strange but consider this example. A woman is sitting in her living room and notices a puddle of water on the floor. The moment she sees the puddle of water; the devil starts to talk to her.
“Can you imagine you can slip in that small puddle?”
She answers, “Really?”
He says, “Yes. When you slip, you will knock your head against the edge of the table, slip to the ground and crack your skull.”
“Oh, no!” She responds in fear.
“Yes,” he continues, “When you crack your skull, no one will be around to help you because everyone has left home. You will bleed to death.”
“What will happen to my children when I die? I do not trust my relatives to take care of them?!”
I am certain many people have had such similar talks, thinking that it was only their minds at work. No, that is the devil feeding you with all manner of tragic scenarios.
You must judge your thought life against our theme scripture. The meditations of your mind must be firstly true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report and virtuous. Anything less is the beginning of a deep conversation with the devil himself.

GOLDEN NUGGET: The meditations of your mind must be firstly true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report and virtuous. Anything less is the beginning of a deep conversation with the devil himself.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You for sanctifying my mind. The meditations of my heart are pleasant unto You. My thoughts are hemmed in by the truth of Your Word. I create my world with the purity of my imaginations. I will never be the devil’s victim because I know how to shut off his voice, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
