Apostle Grace Lubega
Jeremiah 29:13 (KJV); And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
When you pray to God, you must ensure to do so in the way that best works for you.
What do I mean by this?
I have met Christians whose prayer lives are nothing more than an imitation of how some other Christian prays. Because they saw brother Alex praying while clutching his chest, they adopted that as a method of prayer. Some heard that sister Martha wakes up at 3am every morning to pray, and assumed that prayers are best heard by God at 3am.
You cannot build your relationship with God by copying another man’s relationship with Him. You must understand that each of us is extremely unique. It is with this very uniqueness that God expects us to approach Him.
It is okay to find what works for you.
Some people are comfortable praying early in the morning, others are more comfortable doing so late in the evening. Some prefer to pace up and down, others prefer to sit still. Some prefer to lie prostrate, some prefer to stand.
In prayer, always remember that God is not interested in the semantics but in the heart that prays. Be as authentic as you can be, that way, your heart will surely pray.

GOLDEN NUGGET: In prayer, always remember that God is not interested in the semantics but in the heart that prays. Be as authentic as you can be, that way, your heart will surely pray.
PRAYER: Loving Father, You have said in Your Word that a broken and contrite heart You will not despise. Today, I come to You with no pretensions and no acts. I come as I am, with no cover-ups and no methods. I do not come with colourful words and grand gestures. I come with an open heart knowing that I am accepted. As I am, I yield to You even as You work in and through me. Today, I hear You more than ever before. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
