1 Corinthians 15: 35-40 (KJV); But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain: But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body. All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
God set a principle in the earth to the effect that a spirit functions in the earth through a body. Contrary to some works of fiction, spirits do not deal with or communicate with human beings while hanging in open air and speaking in booming and thunderous voices.
Every creature acquainted with the spirit realm knows this. That is why the evil spirits in Mark 5:12 pleaded with Christ to send them into the herd of pigs.
The pattern is repeated through scripture. Satan in the garden of Eden had to use a snake. Christ had to take on the form of a man.
As a student of the Bible, you will notice that after Christ’s resurrection, there is no record of another miracle He performed before ascending into glory. There is no account of Him healing the sick, opening blind eyes or making the lame to walk, which are things He had actively done before.
Why is this?
His body had changed from the terrestrial to the celestial. Access had been officially transferred to men inhabiting terrestrial bodies.
What does this truth mean to the body of Christ and to believers?
As long as we are in the flesh, we are God’s point of access to the lives of men. He called us His body for a reason, this being that He needs a body to function on the earth.
It is through us that men are healed, blind eyes see, lame men walk and the dead are raised.

1 Wakorintho 15:35-40 (KJV); Lakini labda mtu atasema, Wafufuliwaje wafu? Nao huja kwa mwili gani? Ewe mpumbavu! Uipandayo haihuiki, isipokufa; nayo uipandayo, huupandi mwili ule utakaokuwa, ila chembe tupu, ikiwa ni ya ngano au nyingineyo; lakini Mungu huipa mwili kama apendavyo, na kila mbegu mwili wake. Nyama yote si nyama moja; ila nyingine ni ya wanadamu, nyingine ya hayawani, nyingine ya ndege, nyingine ya samaki. Tena kuna miili ya mbinguni, na miili ya duniani; lakini fahari yake ile ya mbinguni ni mbali, na fahari yake ile ya duniani ni mbali.
Mungu aliweka kanuni duniani ili roho iweze kufanya kazi duniani kupitia mwili.
Kinyume na kazi zingine za uwongo, roho hazishughulikii au kuwasiliana na wanadamu wakati zinaning’inia nje na zinaongea kwa sauti zinazovuma na za ngurumo.
Kila kiumbe anayejua ulimwengu wa roho anajua hii. Ndio maana pepo wachafu katika Marko 5:12 walimsihi Kristo awapeleke kwenye kundi la nguruwe.
Mfano huo unarudiwa kupitia maandiko. Shetani katika bustani ya Edeni ilibidi atumie nyoka. Kristo ilimbidi achukue umbo la mwanadamu.
Kama mwanafunzi wa Biblia, utaona kwamba baada ya kufufuka kwa Kristo, hakuna rekodi ya muujiza mwingine alioufanya kabla ya kupaa katika utukufu. Hakuna habari ya Yeye kuponya wagonjwa, kufungua macho ya vipofu au kuwafanya vilema watembee, ambayo ni mambo ambayo alikuwa ameyafanya hapo awali.
Kwa nini hii?
Mwili wake ulikuwa umebadilika kutoka kuwa kama wa duniani na kuwa kama wa mbinguni. Ufikiaji ulikuwa umehamishwa rasmi kwa wanaume wanaokaa miili ya ardhi.
Ukweli huu unamaanisha nini kwa mwili wa Kristo na kwa waamini?
Maadamu tuko katika mwili, sisi ni nafasi ya Mungu ya kufikia maisha ya wanadamu. Alituita mwili Wake kwa sababu, hii ikiwa kwamba Anahitaji mwili wa kufanya kazi duniani.
Ni kupitia sisi kwamba watu huponywa, macho ambayo yamepofuka yanapata kuona, viwete wanatembea na wafu wanafufuliwa.
