Ecclesiastes 7:8 (KJV): “Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.”

Endings are usually better than beginnings because, oftentimes, it is easier to start something than to finish it.
People often have the faith to begin a journey but lack the faith to stay the course until the end.
Through this devotion, God wants you to understand that endings matter to Him. It is crucial to heaven that you finish well.
You should not start a business only to watch it collapse under the weight of financial difficulties. You should not have children only to fail to raise them into respectable and successful individuals. You should not begin a ministry only to abandon it because of the pressures of your calling and assignment.
As His child, you must understand that your Father is a Finisher (Hebrews 12:2). In Philippians 1:6, the Bible assures us that the God who began a good work in you is faithful to complete it.
Today, I write to the Christian who started a journey in ministry, business, or marriage but now feels like giving up. The God in whom you believe must have the final say. Nothing is done until He is done. Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET: It is crucial to heaven that you finish well. The God in whom you believe must have the final say. Nothing is done until He is done.
PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this Word. What a blessed assurance it is to know that You finish everything You start. Today, I receive the wisdom to begin with You and the faith to look to You at every step of any journey I undertake. You, my Lord, are too faithful to leave me halfway. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
