The Weapon Of Righteousness

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Corinthians 6:7(KJV); By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left…

The Weapon Of RighteousnessRighteousness is a weapon in spiritual warfare.

It is not merely a doctrine. Our theme scripture has called it an amour that is on the right hand and on the left.

The devil is the accuser of the brethren (Revelation 12:10). Condemnation is his weapon of choice.

As a Christian, you can never learn to fight him until you understand and embrace the imputed righteousness of God in Christ.

There are Christians who are constantly under the attack of the enemy simply because they subjected themselves to his condemnation and have not received the righteousness of God.

They have never overcome poverty, demonic oppression and all other forms of affliction because they believe they deserve it for one reason or the other.

That is not your story child of God.

It doesn’t matter how much you bind disease, and break all the powers of darkness. If you have not understood that you are right before God, you will always fight a losing battle.

He says, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.”

Sickness is a weapon, demonic torment is a weapon, and financial failure is a weapon. But when you understand that your righteousness is of God, none of those weapons can prosper.

God’s name be praised!

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Righteousness is a weapon in spiritual warfare.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank you for this day. Thank you for this instruction in the art of war. I am fully persuaded that nothing that the enemy sets against me can ever succeed. He is defeated and I walk in constant victory. I have embraced your righteousness and live in the assurance that I am justified by you. I can never bow to condemnation and in this, I win every day of my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
