Of Who We Are

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 John 5:19(NIV); We know that we are children of God and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.

The entire world is under the control of the evil one.

It means that they of this world are susceptible to disease because they are under the control of the evil one.

They fail because they are at his mercy.

They suffer whatever things they suffer because they are subject to him.

That is not your story.

In our theme scripture, God draws a severe line.

The fact that you are a child of God means that you are not and shall never be under the control of the devil.

When you crossed from death to life, the devil lost license over your health, your finances, your marriage, your children, your life!

Believe it!

The devil is not your problem! Never look at evil in this world and imagine it is your part too simply because you are in the world.

The poverty in a nation is not yours to own. The mortality rates in a nation are not yours to identify with and hug as your lot in life simply because you live there.

No. You are in the world but not of the world.

The devil cannot control a being that does not operate by the rules of his territory.

Glory to God!

FURTHER STUDY: John 17:16, Jeremiah 31:11

GOLDEN NUGGET:

When you crossed from death to life, the devil lost license over your health, your finances, your marriage, your children, your life!

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this Word. What a liberating truth! I live in this confidence and consciousness. I am born from above and I have been ransomed from the hand of he that was mightier than me. I view life through this lens of victory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The New Creature

Apostle Grace Lubega

Galatians 6:15(KJV); For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

Why are some Christians so powerless? Why are some tossed about by every whim of the devil? Why do they struggle with the things that afflict the men of this world?

They don’t know who they are.

In our theme scripture, the Lord reveals to us that in Christ neither circumcision or uncircumcision avails anything but the new creature.

The most important thing, the central issue in the Christian life is not in what you do(circumcision) or do not do( uncircumcision) but in what Christ did( the new creature).

Circumcision and uncircumcision have built institutions. Circumcision and uncircumcision have strengthened affiliations. They have drawn boundaries of doctrinal correctness; they have written books, laid down dogmas, initiated sacraments and canonized saints.

But what is the new creature?!

Who are you in Christ? What kind of thing was begotten by His death and resurrection? What does it mean to be born of God and not of flesh and blood? What does it mean to be a partaker of the divine nature?

God begat. When he begat, He did not beget a mere man. When he begat, He did not beget weakness. When he begat, He did not beget limitation. He eliminated the constraints of flesh and blood from your story!

You will never do enough to build the kingdom, never preserve yourself from any form of corruption, never exercise enough willpower and restraint against temptation until you understand what Christ did in you.

His name be praised!

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 5:17, John 1:13

GOLDEN NUGGET:

The most important thing, the central issue in the Christian life is not in what you do(circumcision) or do not do( uncircumcision) but in what Christ did( the new creature).

PRAYER: Loving Father, I know who I am in you. I know what your love and power have accomplished. I see and behold my identity in the spirit. I am not a mere man. I am born of God. Your life is in me, it is in my veins and in my bones. I refuse to think and live as an ordinary human being because your life is in me. I live in the consciousness of a partaker of the divine nature. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Of Faith And Love

Apostle Grace Lubega

Galatians 5:6(KJV); For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth anything nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

Faith works by love.

This means that there are miracles and breakthroughs we can only experience when we understand the love of God.

Think about a Christian who has believed God for deliverance from a long-standing struggle with a disease.

Think about the one who has prayed for a breakthrough in their finances for years.

They claim to have believed and done everything under the face of the earth to demonstrate their faith.

Faith is activated by the understanding of the love that God has for us.

The reason we believe that God heals is that we know Him as love and love compels Him to heal.

The reason we believe that God provides is because of His love for us is what makes Him the supplier of all our needs.

Faith cannot be separated from the revelation of God’s love because faith finds expression in love.

Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 1 John 4:8, Romans 8:35-39

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Faith cannot be separated from the revelation of God’s love because faith finds expression in love.

PRAYER: My loving Master, thank you for this great truth. I live in the blessed assurance that I am loved and treasured by you. I have been accepted in the beloved. I know that whatsoever I ask is yes and amen because you love me too much to deny me any good thing. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Realm Of Love

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 John 3:14(KJV); We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

The love realm is of life. When you walk out of love, you start to die.

The only guarantee we have that we no longer dwell in the realm of death but of life is the love we have for the brethren.

Like our theme scripture reveals, he that does not love his brother abides in death. The message version says that anyone who does not love is as good as dead.

Why do some people die before their time? They walked out of the paths of love.

Why do some ministries fade in relevance and their brooks dry up early? Some of them walked out of love.

The paths of love are the paths of preservation.

Love begets life. This is why through God’s sacrificial love demonstrated in Christ, life returned to the world.

When your ministry is founded on love, it will bring life to those who listen to you. When your business is founded on love, it ministers life to your nation. When your career is founded on love, it ministers life to your company.

Glory to God.

FURTHER STUDY: 1 John 4:8, John 3:6

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Love begets life. The paths of love are the paths of preservation.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this incredible truth. Your love has been shed abroad in my heart. Love is in my nature and it pours out of my spirit effortlessly. Because I am always responding to your love for me, you love the brethren through me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Purpose Of Instruction

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Timothy 1:5(AMP); But the goal of our instruction is love [which springs] from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.

The Purpose Of InstructionLove is the foundation of all sound doctrine.

In our theme scripture, Paul reveals that it is the goal of his instruction.

This means that every time we preach the gospel or minister Christ, the end of it ought to be the love for God and the love for men.

Even if it is a rebuke, it should never be weighed and found wanting on the scales of love.

This goes to more than merely teaching.

Healing the sick and the demonstration of the spirit must be in line with the standard of love.

Christ set the pattern. He healed because He was moved by compassion. He taught because His heart bled for Israel that seemed scattered as sheep without a shepherd.

Even when men fight your doctrine and the truth on your lips, one thing should never be questioned: the love you minister and by which you minister.

It is love that draws men to God. It is love that ministers to the sick. It is love that brings true deliverance.

Glory to God.

FURTHER STUDY: Galatians 5:6, James 2:8

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Love is the foundation of all sound doctrine.

PRAYER: Father, I am grateful for this truth. For you loved the world that you gave your only begotten son. Humanity’s greatest gift started with love. Love upholds our world. I choose to live the love walk in the revelation you have given me, to teach in love, win souls in love and serve you with all my heart in love. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

To Need Him

Apostle Grace Lubega

Psalms 42:1(KJV); As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.

To Need HimThe need for God is a revelation.

There are three kinds of people in this world. There are those who genuinely need God, those that think they need him but their actions speak otherwise and those that do not believe they need him.

Lifting up one’s hands in worship and singling to ‘Lord I need you’ does not mean that one genuinely needs God.

Claiming to need him does not mean that you need Him.

The need for God is more than the desire for His intervention in a financial situation. The need for Him is more than wanting him to deal with a health issue, family issue or other problem.

It is when He opens your eyes to your true state as a man and His true state as the saviour of your soul.

It is the realisation that even if you had all the wealth and accomplishments in the world, only He can fill the void in your spirit.

May God continually flood your spirit with this understanding.

FURTHER STUDY: Psalms 27:4, Psalm 84:10

GOLDEN NUGGET:

The need for God is a revelation.

PRAYER: Father in heaven, I thank you for this Word. Thank you for opening my eyes to the truth of how much I need you. I desire more than what your hand can give but what your heart can reveal. I know in my hearts of hearts that I need you more than the air that I breathe and more than my next heartbeat. I live my life in this revelation. In Jesus name. Amen.

The Grace And The Sin Question

Apostle Grace Lubega

Romans 3:8(KJV); And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just.

No man needs a license to sin. But every man needs grace to overcome sin.

It has often been claimed that preaching the grace encourages men to sin because it gives them permission to do as they will because of God’s abundant love that covers the multitude of sins.

This is what Paul was accused of in our theme scripture. There are those who attended his meetings and all they heard was that he was telling people that it is okay to do whatever they want with their bodies because of the available grace of God.

No one can preach true grace without understanding the magnitude of sin. Sin was so powerful that the only fit price for its destruction was the blood of divinity and the sacrifice of Christ at Calvary.

To deal with sin, God had to send His son to die.

God first reveals to you the cost of sin before He opens your eyes to the saving power of grace.

In Romans 5, he draws this contrast. He says, ‘For if many died by one man’s trespass [Adam’s sin], much more [abundantly] did God’s grace and the gift [that comes] by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, overflow to [benefit] the many. So then as through one trespass [Adam’s sin] there resulted condemnation for all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men. For just as through one man’s disobedience [his failure to hear, his carelessness] the many were made sinners, so through the obedience of the one Man the many will be made righteous and acceptable to God and brought into right standing with Him.’
In preaching grace, we never down play the consequence of sin to humanity. We emphasise the power of grace that overcame sin.

This is why we respect that very grace and never take it in vain.

Glory to God!

FURTHER STUDY: Romans 5 AMP, John 1:17

GOLDEN NUGGET:

No man needs a license to sin. But every man needs grace to overcome sin.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank you for your grace. It is unfailing, unending and abundant. Every morning when I wake up, I awaken to grace and mercy. Every breath that I take, is an extension of your grace and mercy. This is what humbles me and reminds me to never take this grace in vain. I embrace it as the power that has overcome sin because the Bible says that sin has no dominion over me because I am not under the law but under grace. In this understanding, I live in continuous victory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Power Of His Grace – 2

Apostle Grace Lubega

Matthew 12:20(KJV); A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.

The Power Of His Grace – 2God’s desire is to strengthen the weak and to fan into flames any that may be burning out.

Our theme scripture reveals His heart. He cannot break a bruised reed and does not quench a smoking flax.

The grace of God does not break the weak. It ministers strength to them. That is why our Lord told Paul that in his weakness, God’s strength was made perfect.

The grace of God never kicks a man who is already on the ground. It is not what finishes off the struggling or drives the final nail in any one’s coffin.

It is the restorative power of God that holds onto anyone in the clutches of weakness and seeks to infuse them with Godly strength and ability so that they will stand.

In the book of Isaiah, God speaks of you as His beloved vineyard. He says “At that same time, a fine vineyard will appear. There’s something to sing about! I, God, tend it. I keep it well-watered. I keep careful watch over it so that no one can damage it. I’m not angry. I care. Even if it gives me thistles and thorn bushes, I’ll just pull them out and burn them up. Let that vine cling to me for safety, let it find a good and whole life with me, let it hold on for a good and whole life. (Isaiah 27:2-5MSG).”

How does God deal with your ‘thistles and thorn bushes’? He pulls them out and burns them up. He doesn’t destroy you the individual.

This is why you must live with the confidence that when you feel weak, then you are at your strongest.

When you feel fallen is when you are most upheld. When you feel broken is when you are most whole.

Glory to God!

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 12:9, Isaiah 27:2 MSG

GOLDEN NUGGET:
You must live with the confidence that when you feel weak, then you are at your strongest. When you feel fallen is when you are most upheld. When you feel broken is when you are most whole.

PRAYER: Great Father, thank you for this Word. Thank you for who you are to me. My strength, my strong tower and my firm foundation. I lean on you in all things because it is your hand that upholds me. I know that I am a work in progress and you never seek to destroy me but continually present me as perfect. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. This is the consciousness with which I live my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Power Of Grace – 1

Apostle Grace Lubega

Hebrews 4:15-16(KJV);  For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us, therefore, come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Grace never fails.

For grace to fail, is for God to fail because it is His divine ability in a man to will and to do according to His good pleasure.

Our theme scripture reveals that grace is always available at every hour of need and all we need is the boldness to reach out in faith.

Do you need the grace to walk out of weakness? It is available. Do you need the grace to say no to addiction? it is available.

If you have struggled with any issue and have failed to break through, weigh yourself against the scales of self-righteousness and your own works.

You will realise that there is a legal aspect in your attempt to walk out of that weakness.

It has always been claimed that God helps those who help themselves. That is nowhere in the scriptures.
Jesus helps those who need help, not those who help themselves.

Child of God, you can never do it in your own strength. God is trying to tell you that every time you try to do it on your own, you will fail. He wants you to allow Him to work through you.

Embrace His grace.

FURTHER STUDY: Philippians 2:13, 2 Corinthians 3:5

GOLDEN NUGGET: Grace never fails.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank you for this day. I thank you for your abundant and unending grace, that sees past my weakness, to the things that you have done and are continually doing in me. I receive it and walk in it. It is the source of my victory and the foundation on which I stand. My heart is yielded that you may work in me and through me like you wish and desire. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Our High Priest

Apostle Grace Lubega

Hebrews 4:15(KJV); For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Our High PriestGod is not indifferent to your pain. He is not indifferent to your situation and neither is He indifferent to any of your suffering.

The Bible, through our theme scripture reveals that we have a High Priest who is touched with the feeling of our infirmities.

The Amplified Bible says that our High Priest is not the kind who does not UNDERSTAND, SYMPATHISE AND HAVE A SHARED FEELING with our weakness.

Whatsoever you are going through, our Lord Jesus knows exactly how you feel. He is intimately acquainted with the degree of your pain, your heartbreak, your agony and how much you may be hurting.

The reason He cares is that He knows your struggles and knows them all too well.

He is not out of touch with your reality. He experienced it all and overcame.

Christ could not have qualified to take away sin if He had never felt how we feel when we are weak. He knows how you feel when someone angers you and as such, He is able to help you.

He is not without compassion.

He does not seek to merely judge you. His heart’s desire is to love you out of any form of weakness.

This is why we must be patient with other people because Christ is patient with them.

It is why we must strive to understand them because Christ understands them.

Glory to God.

FURTHER STUDY: John 3:16, Romans 5:8

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Christ could not have qualified to take away sin if He had never felt how we feel when we are weak. He knows how you feel when someone angers you and as such, He is able to help you. He does not seek to merely judge you. His heart’s desire is to love you out of any form of weakness.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for the priceless and indescribable gift of your son, Jesus Christ. Thank you for the pattern that He set for me. I embrace your unfailing grace and extend this same grace to everyone around me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

To Value Access

Apostle Grace Lubega

Hebrews 10:29 (NLT) Just think how much worse the punishment will be for those who have trampled on the Son of God, and have treated the blood of the covenant, which made us holy, as if it were common and unholy, and have insulted and disdained the Holy Spirit who brings God’s mercy to us.

To Value AccessWe live in a generation that erroneously places a lot of value on scarcity.

What this means is that it is easy to despise something or someone because they are readily available. They believe that the harder something is to access, then the more precious it is.

I have seen this pattern in how some Christians treat men and women of God. They treat with familiarity and contempt, those that have made themselves easily accessible and treat with honour and respect those that can only be accessed through a legion of secretaries.

This pattern is also in how some treat God. They have seen the demonstration of power and healing far too many times that they can dishonour the presence of God because His power is something they see every day.

For some, it is revelation. They treat as common that which is uncommon because it is readily available.

You ought not to attach value to what you cannot access and devalue what you have access to.

You pay a higher price when you dishonour what is expensive and available.

It means you do not know how to receive love.

Access is a privilege that should never be abused.

No matter how available a man of God is, how available revelation is, how available God’s power is, always maintain an attitude of humility and reverence towards them.

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Peter 1:8, Matthew 7:6

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Access is a privilege that should never be abused. No matter how available a man of God is, how available revelation is, how available God’s power is, always maintain an attitude of humility and reverence towards them.

PRAYER: Lord, I thank you for the access that I have in you. The Bible says that by faith we have access to grace. I understand the boundaries of liberty and can never abuse them. I walk in wisdom toward those of authority that have gone ahead of me, I treat your Word with reverence. In this knowledge, I grow in the things of the spirit, In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Of True Freedom

Apostle Grace Lubega

Numbers 11:4-6(NKJV); Now the mixed multitude who were among them [c]yielded to intense craving; so the children of Israel also wept again and said: “Who will give us meat to eat? We remember the fish which we ate freely in Egypt, the cucumbers, the melons, the leeks, the onions, and the garlic; but now our whole being is dried up; there is nothing at all except this manna before our eyes!

Of True FreedomWhat does it mean to be free?

From our theme scripture, the children of Israel interpreted freedom as the life they led in Egypt when they ate cucumbers, melons, leeks, onions and garlic.

They were willing to return to captivity as long as they could have these foods.

What deception!

You would rather eat manna when you are free than melons when you are bound because true freedom comes with the availability of manna.

Manna here represents the Word of God.

What does this mean?

You are better off coming to church even when you have no job than having a job that keeps you away from the presence of God.

You would rather seek God when you have no money in your pocket than abandoning the Church because you acquired some wealth.

It is much better to keep in the Word without a spouse than have a spouse who keeps you out of the Word.

Manna is much more important than any of the material things that many define as freedom.

Value revelation above wealth. Value revelation above any material things.

Revelation is the source of true freedom.

FURTHER STUDY: John 8:36, John 8:32

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Value revelation above wealth. Value revelation above any material things. Revelation is the source of true freedom.

PRAYER: Father, thank you for this Word. I thank you because these are the days of knowledge and in this knowledge, we find freedom. I accord the Word the honour and respect that it deserves. Because you have exalted it above your very name, I exalt it above anything that I know. In this wisdom, I walk and live as a free person, with the very freedom that Christ has given me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
