Apostle Grace Lubega

Psalms 138:2 (KJV), I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy loving kindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.

God greatly and deeply values His Word.

He has magnified it above His name: He must first fail as Jehovah Jireh, your provider, for His Word to fail; He must first fail as Jehovah Shalom, the God of peace, for His Word to fail. That is how precious it is to Him.

The question to you is; if God places such high reverence to His Word, how about you?

If He has staked the integrity of His own name on it, what does this mean to you?

The way you respond to the Word is the way the Word responds to you.

God’s Heart is laid bare in His Word. Receive it with the same value and respect He accords it.

FURTHER STUDY: Job 23:12, 2 Timothy 2:15

GOLDEN NUGGET

God’s Heart is laid bare in His Word. Receive it with the same value and respect He accords it.

PRAYER: God, I thank you for your Word. It is the power by which the worlds were framed, the very person of who you are that carries the testimony of everlasting life. It will never pass away. I study it with honour. I believe it with all my heart and apply myself to it in all my ways. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Amen.

Understanding The Word

Understanding The Word

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Peter 2:7-8 (KJV), Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

Every believer must learn to walk in the spirit with understanding, least they stumble at the Word, and walk in disobedience.

Disobedience does not come only when we don’t do what is taught, but also when we do things differently from what is taught.

The result of this stumbling is that you may not fully function in what you discover because it does not come with accurate interpretation.

An example is saints who read the New Testament realities with an Old Testament mind set.

In the gospel of Matthew 17, a story is given of how the disciples of Jesus failed to cast out a devil in a young man who had seizures.

And Jesus tells them in verse 20 why they could not. It was because of their unbelief.

In verse 21 He tells them that however this kind (of unbelief) goes not away save by fasting and prayer.

Sadly, many saints interprete that as this kind of ‘evil spirit.’

It was not about the kind of demon, it was about their lack of faith.

Purpose to gain an acquaintance with the Word of God in understanding. As you yield to the teaching of the Holy Spirit and not human interpretation, you will be amazed at the things God will teach you.

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Timothy 2:15, Matthew 13:23.

GOLDEN NUGGET

Purpose to gain an acquaintance with the Word of God in understanding. As you yield to the teaching of the Holy Spirit and not human interpretation, you will be amazed at the things God will teach you.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you because I walk in the understanding of your Word. I am deeply acquainted with the interpretations and executions of the Word. In you I live, move and have my being. I have mastery over the operations of the world of spirits. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

A Man Under God

A Man Under God

Apostle Grace Lubega

James 4:7 (KJV), Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

The order of the Spirit dictates that you cannot resist the devil unless you submit to God.

Before “binding” demons of sickness, poverty, regression or struggle, first submit to God.

How do you submit to God? By applying yourself to the word as instructed. For example, Ephesians 4:27 says, “Do not give place to the devil.”

The Greek Word “topos” used for “place” is translated to mean, “opportunity, power, occasion for acting.”
It’s submission to God to obey that instruction.

Make up your mind to take God at His word regardless of what happens in your life.

Flood your spirit and mind with the Word.Think it, speak it and act it that your reflexive response to any situation is by the Word. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 3:14, Hebrews 10:39

GOLDEN NUGGET

A man who submits to God never gives the devil an opportunity, power or occasion to act.

PRAYER: Father, my spirit is submitted to you. I am faithful to the Word and its dictates. I am full of it: it is in my mind, on my lips, in how I walk, dance and respond to everything around me. The devil has nothing in me. He has no opportunity or occasion to act in my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Because of the Anointing

Because of the Anointing

Apostle Grace Lubega

Isaiah 10:27 (KJV), And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.

The spirit of God never gives attention to the devil: He does not DELIBERATELY direct His power and authority to fighting him.

Why is this so? Take the analogy of an eight foot giant and a one year old infant.

The infant may try to bite the heel of the giant. The giant cannot stop what he is doing to fight the “threat” of the infant.

So it is with the anointing and the devil. In the face of the anointing, the devil has no choice but to flee because he is up against a much greater opponent.

On the other hand, the Spirit of God is very pre-occupied with revealing to those yielded to Him the bottomless things of God. His business is to teach(1 John 2:27).

As He shows you the unlimited vastness of God; the exceeding greatness of His power by which He raised Jesus from the dead; the width, breadth and height of God’s love that never fails, yokes inevitably break off: demons flee, addictions stop and health is restored.

That is how you ought to live your life: never attempt to destroy BY the anointing what is supposed to be destroyed BECAUSE of the anointing.

Exercise your spirit to ignore the enemy. Let your focus be to receive a deeper knowledge of the person of the Holy Spirit.

FURTHER STUDY: John 14:30, 1 John 4:4

GOLDEN NUGGET

Never attempt to destroy BY the anointing what is supposed to be destroyed BECAUSE of the anointing.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for the anointing; I thank you for what He teaches me every day. My single focus is to learn from you. Nothing around me diverts my attention from the bottomless things of God. Even as I learn, my life changes by default: I walk in divine health, experience financial increase, restoration and upward progress. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

His Heart For His Own

His Heart For His Own

Apostle Grace Lubega

John 11:32-35 (KJV), Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled, And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see. Jesus wept.

Mary was fond of sitting at the foot of the master and listening to His Word. While there, she received from Him what He described as “the one needful thing” (Luke 10:42).

When Lazarus died and Jesus saw Mary weep, He was troubled in His spirit.

It was assumed that He was grieving Lazarus’ death.

No, He was not. He knew the end of the matter; that Lazarus would rise from the dead.

It was Mary’s grief that stirred and troubled His spirit.

Her pain stirred him to action and provoked the instant question, “where have you laid him?”

Why did He respond this way? It is because while she sat at His feet, He had deposited something in her spirit!

God cannot invest in someone to simply hand them over to destruction.

The Bible says His eyes keep guard over knowledge and he who has it (Proverbs 22:12 AMP).

There are things He will never allow to happen to you because He has taken time to teach, make and build you. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Psalms 139:13, Psalms 16:10

GOLDEN NUGGET:
God cannot invest in someone to simply hand them over to destruction.

PRAYER: Father, I am grateful for your Word, I am persuaded that you have invested in me too much to let me see corruption. I know too much to die, too much to struggle, too much to fail. Your love has assured me that my deserts blossom; and you have decided means to preserve me, I am yours. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Amen.

In His Presence

In His Presence

Apostle Grace Lubega

Genesis 1:2 (KJV) And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

The Spirit of God is our ever present help in times of need as He has been present even before the world began.

What does this really mean?

Think about this: when the world was created, He was there, He has the experience!

When Moses separated the waters, He was there.

When Joshua stopped the sun, He was there; when Samson tore the mouths of lions, He was there; when Elisha blinded the Syrian army, He was there.

When Jesus raised Jairus’ daughter, He was there; when the Lord Jesus himself was raised from the dead, the Holy Spirit was there!

The Holy Spirit is He who was, is and is to come (Revelation 1:4).

He was there at every testimony we see in the Bible.

So, every time you say, “Holy Spirit”, you are calling on the greatest expert of all time and in all things.

There is nothing He cannot do. He lives in you and is ready to act on your behalf. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: John 14:16 AMP, Ephesians 4:30, Psalms 46:1

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Every time you say, “Holy Spirit”, you are calling on the greatest expert of all time and in all things.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit, the greatest comforter, friend, advocate, intercessor and counselor. He with whom I am sealed, He who shall never leave me nor forsake me. I rest in the assurance that I will never fail because I have Him. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Wisdom to know the Difference: The Holy Spirit

The Wisdom to know the Difference: The Holy Spirit

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Corinthians 2:12 (KJV), Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

In the life of the Spirit, there are things that you receive and these things bring everything else that you need.

There are experiences that provide the answers to the next series of experiences in your life. The greatest of these experiences is the infill of the Holy Spirit.

When you received the Holy Spirit, you received everything that you ever needed in this life.

Luke 11:9-13 says; And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened… If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

This scripture in Luke reveals that it is a misapplication of scripture to ask, seek and knock for material things such as a car, a house, a job or marriage.

These things have already been freely given unto you. Therefore, your asking, seeking and knocking should be for a deeper relationship with the Holy Spirit.

This is the maturity that God has called the church to; the place of absolute persuasion regarding the things that accompany salvation.

Healing is yours, deliverance is yours, increase in ministry is yours; financial increase is yours because you have the Holy Spirit.

As a Christian, you no longer attend service to get a job, car, or a house. You attend service because you take pleasure in the presence of God and seek deeper communion with the person of the Spirit.

Our sermons should not end in things money can buy, they ought to provoke men to hunger for greater intimacy with the Holy Spirit because He is God’s indescribable gift. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 6:9, 1 Corinthians 2:10

GOLDEN NUGGET

As a Christian, you no longer attend service to get a job, car, or a house. You attend service because you take pleasure in the presence of God and seek deeper communion with the person of the Spirit.

PRAYER: Father I thank you for the gift of your Spirit. He is the assurance that I have everything that I ever needed. As I abide in Him, I launch deeper into the knowledge of Him. My hunger and desire is not for the things that your hand can give but for the things that your heart will reveal. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Amen.

When Your Obedience Is Fulfilled

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Corinthians 10:5-6(KJV), Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

Many times believers forget one of the strongest towers of the Christian faith, obedience.

After the defeat of Satan, Christ declared, “All power is given to me in heaven and in the earth” (Matthew 28:18).

Many times I hear Christians break the ‘power’ of the enemy. Well, here is the good news, that ‘power’ of the devil is deception. Those are the very lies by which satan seeks to exalt himself against your knowledge of God.

God is ready to judge every form of disobedience (disease, poverty, weakness, regression etc) when your own obedience is fulfilled.

Obedience does not come until you understand truth. Truth precedes obedience.

The obedience that is required of you by God therefore is the understanding of who you are and what God has done through Christ. You choose to stay faithful, to walk in Faith in spite of the circumstances in your life.

You stand in the knowledge that greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4); that you are seated in Christ far above all principalities, dominions and powers (Ephesians 2:6, 1:21); that you have overcome the world (1 John 5:4); that you are more than a conqueror through Christ who strengthens you.

If the doctor gives you a bad report, God waits for you to declare, “I cannot be sick!” By that confession, He is more than ready to punish the disobedience of the enemy. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Luke 18:7-8, Ephesians 6:11

GOLDEN NUGGET

Many times I hear Christians break the ‘power’ of the enemy. Well, here is the good news, that ‘power’ of the devil is deception.

PRAYER: God, I thank you because I am a victor. I understand the Word in knowledge and in truth. My obedience is fulfilled. Thank you because you have fought and defeated everything against me because I have understood this pattern of victory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Led of the Spirit into Light

Led of the Spirit into Light

Apostle Grace Lubega

Matthew 6:23 (KJV), But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

There is a thin line between light and darkness. That boundary line into the realm of darkness is defined by the spirit of deception while the line into the realm of light is defined by the Spirit of truth.

Because the line by which men cross into darkness is deception, darkness appears like light.

This is why in our theme scripture, the Christ cautions and says, “if the light in you is darkness, then how great is that darkness.”

These are people who think they are “illuminated” but their illumination is in darkness.

Now, the language of the scripture is “if thine eye be evil”. The Bible does not pluralise and say, “if your eyes be evil…”

The Christ spoke this in reference to how they in darkness access the spirit world through the opening of the third eye.

Any man who accesses that world in this manner exposes himself to the spirit of deception and as a result, he walks in darkness.

The spirit world is a realm in which we are led by the Holy Spirit because He is the Spirit of Truth.

When you are led by the Spirit, you can never have a wrong stand on visions because by Him, you can separate darkness from light even when darkness appears as light. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Romans 8:14, 2 Corinthians 11:14

GOLDEN NUGGET

The spirit world is a realm in which we are led by the Holy Spirit because He is the Spirit of Truth.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this wisdom. I am led by the Spirit into different worlds. I am full of the Word and have the distinct ability to cut asunder and to separate light from darkness. I am above deception and have accurate understanding of the experiences of the Spirit. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

You are Immortal

You are Immortal

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Timothy 1:10-11 (KJV), But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel: Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.

The gospel does not only reveal the life that we have in God. It also reveals the immortality that we share with Him.

Job said “Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither:” (Job 1:21).

These were the words of a man with the old adamic nature. He could leave the earth “naked.”

For such men, their ministries may die with their death, their books may cease to teach with their death, their music may cease to sound with their death.

But if any man is in Christ, the Old is passed away, all things have become new and all things are of God (2 Corinthians 5:17-18).

Your destiny is of God, your ministry is of God, and your life is of God. God is immortal and so are you!

You must have the revelation of both life and immortality.

In this understanding, your ministry demonstrates the life of God but it also lives long after your existence in the flesh; your books and sermons demonstrate the life of God but they will also live long after your existence in the flesh.

A man who has this revelation will accomplish and achieve things that echo through eternity. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Corinthians 15:53, Romans 2:7

GOLDEN NUGGET:
God is immortal and so are you.

PRAYER: Father I thank you for this great revelation. I have the life of God and I am immortal. I do things that eternity keeps record of. My ministry is an eternal ministry. I will never die! My books are eternal, my prayers are eternal and my teachings are eternal. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Things That Make Ministers: The Wilderness Experience

Things That Make Ministers: The Wilderness Experience
  • Apostle Grace Lubega

Matthew 4:1 (KJV); Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

Every minister of the gospel who is to be used by God will have a ‘wilderness’ experience.

This is a time period in your life where God will kill your flesh, teach you and allow you to be tested into maturity.

This experience is orchestrated by the Holy Spirit, as he led Christ himself into the wilderness.

Besides Christ; Paul spent three years in Arabia (Galatians 1:17); Moses for forty years and several others.

As with all those that walked there before us, the Spirit could not lead them where they could be destroyed.

James 1:13 says, “Let no man say, when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempts he any man.” The Spirit did not lead Jesus in the wilderness to tempt Him. He was led there to be tempted of the devil.

There are things that God will permit you to go through because they are tests that every minister must endure.

Jesus told Peter, “Satan hath desired to have you, that He may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren” (Luke 22:31-32).

The Lord saw through the eyes of the Spirit that the enemy sought to frustrate Peter but He did not pray that Peter escapes this experience. He prayed that his faith stands.

God knows that the trial of your faith as a minister of the gospel is more precious than the refining of gold (1 Peter 1:7) because your faith is what those who must follow after you will imitate (Hebrews 13:7).

Stand fast in the understanding that these experiences not only benefit you as a minister but they are the anchor for many other souls. Hallelujah!

    FURTHER STUDY: 1 Corinthians 10:13, Romans 14:4

    GOLDEN NUGGET:
The wilderness experience is a time period in your life where God will kill your flesh, teach you and allow you to be tested into maturity.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for your Word. You are the God before whom I stand, in whom my faith and trust remains steadfast and unshakable. Thank you for the experiences of the Spirit by which you build in me a divine character of endurance. Like Paul, I count it all but joy because I know that any trial of faith is precious. For the many that come after me, they will read my pattern and story and know that nothing is too big for my God. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Amen.

Stand Fast in Liberty

Stand Fast in Liberty

Apostle Grace Lubega

Galatians 5:1 (KJV), Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

There are Christians who are enslaved because they are convinced that they are free in what is not freedom.

Some attend overnights to be free; they run from deliverance service to deliverance service to be free.

However, it is deception to think that your freedom began when the disease left your body or when you got a job after years of seeking for one.

Your freedom was purchased by the Christ at Calvary: healing and physical deliverance are just the results of it.

It is false doctrine to teach that when a man becomes Born Again, he crosses over with generational curses.

The truth is that you began the life of salvation as a free person. You start from the place of standing fast in the liberty that Christ has availed to you.

When we pray for Born Again Christians, we do so in the understanding that we are manifesting that freedom that they already have in Christ.

God has called the Church to teach believers of the freedom they have in Christ, not the bondage they see in this world.

Attend service, prayer meetings and read the Word as one who is free. Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET

God has called the Church to teach believers of the freedom they have in Christ, not the bondage they see in this world.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for the freedom that I have in you. I was born into a life of liberty. I walk, pray and serve as a free man. I received your Word of truth and walk after the demands of the law of free men. I am free to heal, free to demonstrate the Spirit, free to change any circumstance and free to serve in the kingdom. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
