You are a Creative Force

You are a Creative Force

Apostle Grace Lubega

Gen 1:2 (NIV); Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

In the creation story, the Spirit of the lord was available but He could only hover and not do much because darkness was over the face of the deep.

The Hebrew word “choshek” for darkness is also translated to mean ignorance. It means that the Holy Spirit could do nothing where ignorance was.

To heal the earth, the first thing God did was to declare, “Let there be light.”(Genesis 1:4). This light was illumination, which is knowledge.

Without knowledge, nothing could be formed in the earth. This knowledge carried the mind of the father pertaining everything that had to be created.

Yes, the spirit was available but this light was necessary to give the required guidance in creation.

That is why as a child of God, you must be a Word person. Where the Word is, the Spirit is. The two are inseparable in function.

That is the essence of knowledge. Every time it is availed to you, the Holy Spirit is available to execute things.

In the New Testament dispensation, He says, you are the light of the World (Matthew 5:14). You are all that the Holy Ghost needs to create.

When the devils looks at you, he knows that he is in trouble because when the Holy Spirit is with this illumination, nothing is impossible; creation starts to take place. What he destroyed is put back into form and shape. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 4:6, John 6:63

GOLDEN NUGGET:
You are all that the Holy Ghost needs to create.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for your great Word. I am the illumination of this world. I create by the power of the Holy Spirit. I put the world back in course and order because I have the fullness of the knowledge of God. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Because we have this Ministry

Because we have this Ministry
  • Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Corinthians 4:1-2(KJV); Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

There is an attitude God expects you to have because you are Born Again. For this reason, Paul in our theme scripture says, because we have this ministry, we faint not.

That is why you do not give up. What is on the inside of you is so great; that treasure in an earthen vessel that the excellence of power might be of God (2 Corinthians 4:7).

Yes, you might go through the hardest places but you are always reminded that there is greatness on the inside of you, that there is a Spirit in you and the inspiration of the Lord has given you understanding(Job 32:8)

Fret and worry may come. Always draw strength from that which is on the inside of you. The Spirit of God will always remind you that you are the offspring of the Almighty God. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 10:39, Hebrews 3:14

    GOLDEN NUGGET:
Fret and worry may come. Always draw strength from that which is in the inside of you. The Spirit of God will always remind you that you are the offspring of the Almighty God.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for your Word. In you I live, move and have my being. I am not of them that draw back but of them that endure to the saving of the soul. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

PÉPITE D’OR : L’agitation et l’inquiétude peuvent venir.

Amen.

Out of Babylon: Identity

Out of Babylon: Identity

PHANEROO~DEVOTION
22nd November 2017
Apostle Grace Lubega

Daniel 1:6-7 (KJV), Now among these were of the children of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: Unto whom the prince of the eunuchs gave names: for he gave unto Daniel the name of Belteshazzar; and to Hananiah, of Shadrach; and to Mishael, of Meshach; and to Azariah, of Abednego.

When the children of Israel were taken into captivity, they were carried to Babylon. However, Babylon is not just a historical place. It is the distinctive representation of the systems of this world.

In Babylon, the prince of the eunuchs changed the names of Daniel and his companions. The Babylonian system will always seek to change your God given identity.

Today, we have many Christians imitating the patterns of the world to define who they are. This explains why believers look like the carnal men of the present world.

They look at the men of this world and admire to be like them. Many of these imitations are done without understanding the spirit behind them.

What makes Daniel different from all his companions is that even though he was given the name Belteshazzar, he never accepted it.

He is largely identified as Daniel while Hannaniah, Mishael and Azariah are mostly identified as Shadrach, Mesach and Abednego.

For this reason, the glory in which he operates is different from that in which his companions operate. His friends are thrown into the fire and do not get burned. But Daniel, even though he did not bow to the statue, did not get to test that fire(Daniel 3).

That is the glory of a man who understands his identity in God. God Himself hides him. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: 1 Peter 2:9, Ephesians 3:14-15

GOLDEN NUGGET

The glory of the man who understands his identity in God is that God Himself hides him.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for who I am in you. I am of a peculiar nation, a royal priesthood. I carry your name and identity. Nothing in this world defines me but you my God. I am different, I am special, I am unpredictable. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Run Your Race

Run Your Race

Apostle Grace Lubega

2 Corinthians 10:12, (KJV), For we dare not make ourselves of the number,or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

It is a lack of wisdom to compare yourself with any one. When you compare yourself to another, you will never have gratitude before God.

God has called you to run your own race, to keep your course. It doesn’t matter how successful your peers might be, how they might have made greater strides in life than you. You have your own story: write it with your own pen and not that of another man.

The success of another man can only be a lesson from which you learn. It should never be a bench mark against which you judge your capabilities or your sense of identity.

When a man uses the success of another to judge his sense of identity and his abilities, he births in himself the gull of bitterness. This bitterness in any one’s spirit is the very ground in which possibilities for growth wither and die.

FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 12:1, John 21:22

GOLDEN NUGGET:
It is a lack of wisdom to compare yourself with any one.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this wisdom. My identity and ability is not measured by what others have done and achieved but my understanding and knowledge of who I am in you. I know my race and course and follow after it with my eyes set on you the author and finisher of my faith. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Our Talk With God

Our Talk With God

Apostle Grace Lubega

Isaiah 1:18 (KJV); Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

In the New Testament dispensation, we have the liberty to reason with God. However, we do not do it in the manner of the man of the Old Testament.

The old man was enslaved by sin, so most of his dealings with God focused on the sin issue.

The new man is a slave to righteousness, his dealings with God ought to be of things higher.

The depths in God are too vast for the Church to centre only on the substance of sin. Beyond that, there is more in God to explore.

It does not mean that we should not live moral lives. By all means we should. However, after that, there is more in God.

God seeks to commune with you about why Christ apprehended you, how to seek and know Him because it is eternal life, the apostleship to obedience of all nations and the illumination of your eyes that you might know the hope of your calling and the glory of His riches in the saints.

He wants to reason with you about the exceeding greatness of His love, its width, breadth and height that you might be filled with all the fullness of God. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 12:22-23, Philippians 3:20

GOLDEN NUGGET:
The depths in God are too vast for the Church to centre only on the substance of sin. Beyond that, there is more in God to explore.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for your Word. I understand the substance of heavenly conversations, I am perfect in Word and speech because I have understood the testimony of imputed righteousness. The substance of my communion with you is of things that pertain to the higher calling in Christ. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Of Children And Sons: Obedience

Of Children And Sons: Obedience

Apostle Grace Lubega

Isaiah 9:6 (KJV), For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Children are born, sons are given. It means that when someone is a child in the ministry, we nurture and tend them as new born babies.

When they transition into sons, they become gifts to us. Sons add profit to the ministry while children only feed from it.

Not all children transition into sons. Some Christians remain babes for years because they do not diligently apply themselves to the principles by which children become sons.

This transition starts from the place of obedience. Every child, in the ministry, ought to learn to be obedient to the instruction of their spiritual authority.

Many times, instructions are given from the altar: win souls, give and love, study the Word. Those are not mere words, they are keys; opportunities for access into deeper graces in the Spirit.

Learn to honour spiritual instruction. It will unlock doors for your elevation, growth and maturity.

FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 13:17, Hebrews 13:7

GOLDEN NUGGET:

Children are born, sons are given. When someone is a child in the ministry, we nurture and tend them as new born babies. When they transition into sons, they become gifts to the ministry.

PRAYER: Father, I am grateful for your Word. I understand the pattern of obedience to instructions. I am a truly submitted spirit who honours what they that you have set over me say. I observe the end of their conversation and imitate their faith. By this wisdom, I grow and profit the kingdom. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Stick To The Principles

Stick To The Principles

Apostle Grace Lubega

Hebrews 10:39 (KJV),  But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

The principles of God are above your personal needs. It means that regardless of how constrained you might feel, stick to the principles.

Tithe, even when you are indebted and seemingly overwhelmed by dues that need to be paid. Pray and attend service, give God attention and time even when you feel exhausted after a long day at work. Never compromise the principles. Live a life without excuses!

Sometimes this compromise might seem like a shortcut, a relief of the pressures you feel. Allow God to build in you that character of faithfulness. He will not forget your labour of love(Hebrews 6:10). That is how promotions, increase and multiplication in the things of the Spirit comes. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 10:23, Hebrews 11:6

GOLDEN NUGGET:

The principles of God are above your personal needs.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for your Word. I honour you above all things. You are the God who never fails, you’re forever faithful. I choose to trust in you, to walk by the dictates of the Word knowing that it is impossible for you to lie. I am steadfast in faith, looking to you the author and finisher of my faith. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The Good Fight of Faith

The Good Fight of Faith

Apostle Grace Lubega

1 Timothy 6:12 (KJV); Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life whereunto thou art also called and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

The fight of faith is not about fighting the things that are working against you.

I have known Christians who when faced with struggles get into warfare and start to fight what they perceive to be the cause of these issues coming against them. They spend hours in prayer binding, breaking and pulling down strongholds in the name of fighting the good fight of faith.

1 John 4:4; Ye are of God little children and have overcome them because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.

Your victory is a past tense affair. Christ defeated everything that might attempt to come against you. Why would you fight that which Jesus Christ has already defeated? That is the wrong fight.

Whatever you fight, you ignite, never forget that. Your fight of faith is to believe in the finished work of God. Learn to stay calm in the storm and to maintain your confession of faith to the end. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 10:39, Hebrews 3:14

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Whatever you fight you ignite, never forget that.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this Word, this divine wisdom by which we war. For indeed wisdom is better than weapons of war. I am a child of rest and hold on to my confession of faith to the very end. Thank you because you have taught me to rest and to be at peace under every circumstance. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Confounded to God

Confounded to God

Apostle Grace Lubega

Acts 2:6-8(KJV) Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?

In Genesis 11:1-9, the Bible speaks of an experience when men were of one language and one speech and started to build a tower and make a name for themselves.

They were a people who did not acknowledge God in their increase and multiplication.

Because of this, the Bible reveals that God confounded their language and scattered them allover the earth.

The New Testament explains a similar experience in Acts 2. When the disciples were filled with the Holy Ghost, they spoke with different tounges, and the people who heard them were confounded and amazed. That day, thousands gave their lives to Christ.

That very language that confounded the men without drew them to eternal salvation. By the unity of language and speech, the Church draws men to God. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Romans 1:5, Genesis 11:1-9

GOLDEN NUGGET:
By the unity of language and speech, the Church draws men to God.

PRAYER: Father I thank you for the great mandate we have as the body of Christ. Thank you for the unity of the faith and of language and speech. I understand purpose and the divine need to advance the kingdom of God. The language I speak is understood by all men. By it, multitudes are drawn to the kingdom. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Hunger for God

Hunger for God

Apostle Grace Lubega

Psalms 107:9(KJV), For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.

Hunger for the things of God is not a one time experience. No man ought to be hungry for God today and be too satisfied to seek for more of Him tomorrow.

Hunger is also not the frantic short lived excitement when you listen to or read a particularly stirring message.

It is a perpetual and continuous experience that increases in response to the revelation of God.

God has sent a famine in the earth for His Word(Amos 8:11). This famine was sent so we respond to the knowledge He is pouring out.

By prophesy, in the last days knowledge shall increase(Daniel 12:4). If a man is not hungry, it is because he is indifferent to knowledge. As God increases knowledge, He desires that you be hungrier for more.

Understand our times as days of the increase of knowledge. This knowledge must provoke you to hunger. Let hunger drive you to the closet to pray, let hunger cause you to seek Him more than ever before. Hallelujah !

FURTHER STUDY: Amos 8:11, Luke 6:21

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Understand our times as days of the increase of knowledge. This knowledge must provoke you to hunger. Let hunger drive you to the closet to pray, let hunger cause you to seek Him more than ever before.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for your word. It convicts me to deeper places in communion and prayer. I respond to knowledge by seeking more. Each time I am launched into these eternal depths, my spirit is exposed to the ultimate experience of your person. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Ask The Hard Questions

Ask The Hard Questions
[restabs alignment=”osc-tabs-left” responsive=”false” tabcolor=”#81d742″ seltabcolor=”#eeee22″] [restab title=”English” active=”active”]

Apostle Grace Lubega

Psalms 27:4 (KJV); One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple.

There are men in the life of the Spirit who asked questions because they desired distinctive answers to propel them to purpose.

We learn from them that our places of inquiry in the
temple of the Lord go beyond simply needing answers to carnal issues but answers to experiences in the Word that may seem “incomplete” in our understanding.

Take the example of Peter. Peter knew that there were those that had been judged during the days of Noah and he wondered about their salvation.

When he asked this question, the Lord carried him into an experience where he realized that Jesus Christ had descended and preached to those spirits too(1 Peter 3:19-20).

How about Jude? Jude studied the account of the death of Moses and found that
by the scriptures, his body had never been found and that no man knew where
he had been buried. When he asked the hard questions, God carried him into an
experience where he saw Satan and the arch angel Michael fighting over Moses’
body(Jude 1:9).

The Bible is more than a collection of stories. It is an eternal record of the lives of men from which we are continually learning(Romans 15:4). Part of that learning comes from God-led experiences of these accounts and not simply what we read in print.

When you learn to ask these questions (as one who seeks to know more after the pattern of the Spirit of truth), the Word of God comes alive to you because God answers the
questions that some prefer to only theorize about. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Luke 1:1-4, Ps 119:96

GOLDEN NUGGET:
The Bible is more than a collection of stories. It is an eternal record of the lives of men from which we are continually learning. Part of that learning comes from God-led experiences of these accounts and not simply what we read in print.

PRAYER: Father, I am grateful for your Word. Thank you for redefining the wisdom and the understanding by which I inquire in your courts. By the Spirit of truth, I am led into deeper experiences of the Word. Your Word continually comes alive for me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Amen.

Inquire of the Ancient Paths

Inquire of the Ancient Paths

Apostle Grace Lubega

Jeremiah 6:16 (KJV); Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

Your spirit is eternal. Because it is, you have the ability to live in different times by the Spirit and to walk in the realm of eternal life.

Some people are limited by their existence in the flesh. However, by virtue of your nature, if you so desire to walk back in time and understand the experiences of they of old, there is a grace in God to take you there if you inquire of the Lord to lead you.

God is the same yesterday, today and forever. He does not want you to only walk in the future. He wants you to inquire of the ancient paths too. How did the creation experience unfold? What was Moses’ experience on the Mount? How did Elijah, Daniel and all the great prophets live?

If you wish to know the things in the past that pertain to the life of the gospel, those things are so easy to access because the eternal God is present in the past like He is in the future and He is ready to reveal these truths and experiences to you. Hallelujah!

FURTHER STUDY: Ecclesiastes 3:11 (NLT), Psalm 27:4

GOLDEN NUGGET:
You have the ability to live in different times by the Spirit and to walk in the realm of eternal life.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this knowledge. I am not limited by the flesh because I am an eternal being. My place of inquiry in your presence is redefined and as such, I seek to know things that pertain to this life of the gospel. I am carried to the places of experience that give answers to spiritual questions. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
