Luke 2:25-30 (KJV); And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him. And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law, Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said, Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word: For mine eyes have seen thy salvation…
There are things that the LORD may speak to you pertaining your future and to emphasise their seriousness, He will seal them with the ultimate promise that you cannot die until you experience them.For Simeon, it was to see the LORD’S Christ.
When GOD makes this vow, it doesn’t matter whether some terminal disease tries to claim your life.
You cannot die of it because what GOD has spoken to you is BIGGER than that disease.
For some of us, this is what defines satisfaction and a life well lived.
I know a Christian who thinks that he should not die until he has scaled Mount Everest, another until he has seen the Taj Mahal and another until he has won a presidency.
But when you weigh certain ambitions on the scales of divine purpose, you will find them critically lacking in the one ingredient that gives them the savour and taste of true greatness— GOD’s voice of purpose.
Your satisfaction ought to stretch beyond what you must achieve on the earth, what you must own or who you must become by the standards of this world.
It ought to be defined by those things that GOD has painted in your spirit that it would be devastating to die without having seen and experienced them.
To REST IN PEACE, is to leave this world with the satisfaction that you touched, tasted, saw and fulfilled what God determined and patterned for your life. Hallelujah!

Your satisfaction ought to stretch beyond what you must achieve in the earth, what you must own or who you must become by the standards of this world. It ought to be defined by those things that GOD has painted in your spirit that it would be devastating to die without having seen and experienced those things.
PRAYER: Father, I thank you for your faithfulness. You satisfy me Lord with fatness and my mouth is filled with praise. Thank you for choosing me. Your voice goes through my spirit every day and approves me of great things. I thank you for those things you have spoken in the solitude of meditation, the things your heart has revealed and unveiled to my eyes. These very things preserve my life. I will live to see them come to pass. To the glory of your name. Amen.

Luc 2:25-30 (KJV) Et voici, il y avait un homme à Jérusalem, nommé Siméon ; et le même homme était juste et dévot, attendant la consolation d’Israël : et le Saint-Esprit était sur lui. Et le Saint-Esprit lui a révélé qu’il ne devrait pas voir la mort avant d’avoir vu le Christ du Seigneur. Et il vint par l’Esprit dans le temple : et quand les parents amenèrent l’enfant Jésus, pour le faire selon la coutume de la loi, il le prit dans ses bras, et bénit Dieu, et dit : Seigneur, maintenant laisse ton serviteur partir en paix, selon ta parole, car mes yeux ont vu ton salut…
Il y a des choses que le SEIGNEUR peut vous dire concernant votre avenir et souligner leur gravité, Il les scellera avec la promesse ultime que vous ne pouvez pas mourir avant d’en avoir fait l’expérience.
Pour Siméon, c’était pour voir le Christ du SEIGNEUR.
Quand DIEU fait ce vœu, peu importe si une maladie en phase terminale essaie de réclamer votre vie.
Vous ne pouvez pas en mourir parce que ce que DIEU vous a dit est PLUS GRAND que cette maladie.
Pour certains d’entre nous, c’est ce qui définit la satisfaction et une vie bien vécue.
Je connais un Chrétien qui pense qu’il ne devrait pas mourir jusqu’à ce qu’il ait escaladé le mont Everest, un autre jusqu’à ce qu’il ait vu le Taj Mahal et un autre jusqu’à ce qu’il ait gagné une présidence.
Mais quand vous pesez certaines ambitions sur les échelles du dessein divin, vous les trouverez cruellement dépourvus dans le seul ingrédient qui leur donne la saveur et le goût de la vraie grandeur – la voix de DIEU du but.
Votre satisfaction doit s’étendre au-delà de ce que vous devez accomplir sur la terre, de ce que vous devez posséder ou de ce que vous devez devenir selon les normes de ce monde.
Il doit être défini par ces choses que DIEU a peintes dans votre esprit qu’il serait dévastateur de mourir sans les avoir vues et vécues.
REPOSER EN PAIX, c’est quitter ce monde avec la satisfaction que vous avez touchée, goûtée, vue et accomplie ce que Dieu a déterminé et modelé pour votre vie. Alléluia !

PRIÈRE : Père, je te remercie pour ta fidélité. Tu me satisfais Seigneur avec de la graisse et ma bouche est remplie de louanges. Merci de m’avoir choisi. Ta voix traverse mon esprit tous les jours et m’approuve de grandes choses. Je vous remercie pour ces choses que vous avez dites dans la solitude de la méditation, les choses que ton cœur a révélées et dévoilées à mes yeux. Ces choses préservent ma vie. Je vais vivre pour les voir arriver. Pour la gloire de ton nom. Amen.
