The Responsibility Of The Anointing

Apostle Grace Lubega

Jeremiah 10:15(KJV); They are vanity, and the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.

The Responsibility Of The AnointingOur theme scripture speaks of men that are the work of errors. Such men, the Bible reveals, perish in the time of their visitation.

This means that when they are exposed to the anointing or to certain privileges in God, these very privileges destroy them.

This is not because the privileges in themselves are a bad thing but because the individuals do not have the wisdom to handle the responsibility which comes with these privileges.

You may want God to anoint you, but do you have the wisdom to handle the anointing?

You may want God to give you a large following, but do you have the wisdom to deal with all those people?

How about wealth? There are those who crave it desperately and the moment they get it, they are destroyed because they do not know how to manage and deal with wealth. Do you?

How do you handle power? How do you deal with the secrets of men?

In Luke 12:48, the Bible says that to whom much is given, much is required.

The primary requirement from anyone who has access to divine privileges is the maturity to handle that which God has trusted you with.

It is not your portion as a child of God to be a victim of the things that you desire in God.

When He says that He has made us able ministers (2 Corinthians 3:6), it means that the ability and grace to handle divine privilege is also available as long as we yield ourselves to its work.

God’s name be praised.

GOLDEN NUGGET:

The primary requirement from anyone who has access to divine privileges is the maturity to handle that which God has trusted you with.

PRAYER: Father, I thank you for this Word. Thank you for the desires you have placed in my spirit because they are godly desires. Above all, I thank you for the wisdom to handle that which you have made available to me. Like Christ grew in wisdom because of the responsibility upon his life, I grow in the very same wisdom. To the glory of your name. Amen.
