Separated From Darkness – 2
Apostle Grace Lubega
Genesis 1:2-4(KJV); And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness
In our theme scripture, the Hebrew word for darkness is ‘choshek’ which is translated to mean, among other things, ignorance.
One of the greatest weaknesses of humanity is ignorance.
Our theme scripture reveals that in the beginning, God separated light from darkness.
It is the mandate of the Holy Spirit to separate us from ignorance.
That is why the Spirit of God searches the deep things of God and reveals the same unto us (1 Corinthians 2:10).
As our ever-present help in time of need, the Holy Spirit is not available to only deliver us from trouble; His greatest mandate is to teach us who God is because the Holy Spirit knows everything there is to know about God (1 Corinthians 2:11).
Every time we yield to the knowledge of God, it is a separation from darkness.
When we allow the Holy Spirit to teach us, we are allowing Him to separate us from darkness.

GOLDEN NUGGET:
It is the mandate of the Holy Spirit to separate us from ignorance. When we allow Him to teach us, we are allowing Him to separate us from darkness.
PRAYER: Father, I thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit, my counsellor, comforter and guide. I thank you for the bottomless depths of knowledge that you launch me into every day. Thank you for the mysteries and insights into your person. As I yield to your Spirit, I grow deeper in the knowledge of who you are, to hear with clarity, to see with acute vision and to understand with distinction. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

The present world in which we live is covered by a form of darkness.
Human wisdom is limited.
When the Lord appeared to Moses in a burning bush, He told him to put off his shoes because he was standing on holy ground.
It is a divine authority to decree a thing and that thing is established.
The worlds were framed by the Word of God.
We have the mind of Christ. What
Righteousness is a weapon in spiritual warfare.
The words spoken over your life by your spiritual authority are a weapon of war.
The apostle Paul is a pattern in the understanding of Christian victory.
The greatest part of spiritual warfare is the wisdom to stand.
The whole armour of God is fulfilled in the person of Christ.
