The Folly In Strife
Apostle Grace Lubega
1 Corinthians 3:1-3 (KJV): And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
Love is the FORCE and BEDROCK by which many forces in the spirit function.
Faith works by love (Galatians 5:6).
Revelation increases in your spirit when you have understood and are established in the love of God.
When you look at what grieved Paul about the Corinthian church (envy, strife, divisions), all these were manifestations of not walking in love.
But imagine the consequence!
Paul was unable to feed them on spiritual meat and could only treat them as babes capable of only taking spiritual milk.
They could not advance to the next level of spiritual growth because of envy and strife. How sad!
Divisions, envyings and strife cut out the voice of God and of His revelation.
Pursue peace if you wish to continue hearing and knowing God deeply.

GOLDEN NUGGET:
Divisions, envyings and strife cut out the voice of God and of His revelation. Pursue peace if you wish to continue hearing and knowing God deeply.
PRAYER: My God, I thank you for this Word. You have taught me the virtue in pursuing peace with all men. I desire to hear your voice over and over so I choose this day to set aside any kind of strife and envy that may hinder me. I walk in love because it is the testimony of those that truly know you. Thank you that as I live more and more by this pattern, you launch me into deeper depths of your Spirit. In Jesus name, Amen.

Paul speaks of an experience where he was caught up in paradise and heard unspeakable words which it is not lawful for a man to utter.
The character of love as revealed to us in the Bible sets a very high bar on how we ought to treat fellow men.
Through the years I have spent in ministry, I have learnt to continually pray for other people; it is the way of love.
When God ministers to your spirit, he does so by impartation. This is because the spirit is the part of you that can articulate the divine things.
In our opening scripture Zebulun and Isscahar received this blessing: that they would rejoice in their going out and in their dwelling places.
In our theme scripture we understand that the church at Thessalonica, at the time the Gospel was preached unto them, did not receive the Word of God as preached by Paul as though it were the words of a mere man. But they received it as the Word of God in truth.
The Bible says “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32).
God can do anything in any man because He [God] is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34).
Wisdom is humble and the Spirit of it comes with peace.
Every man under the face of the earth is under a yoke of some kind.
