John 17:3(KJV); And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent
Eternity is a world. In Ecclesiastes 3:11, the Bible says, “He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart.” The Hebrew word for world therein is also interpreted to mean, eternity.
The sad irony of Christian living is that there are those who received eternal life but the world of eternity is closed to them. They carry a life that can only find expression in another world but cannot manifest that life because their consciousness of worlds is limited to this present world.
They are those that Paul speaks of in Ephesians 4:18, who are like Gentiles, alienated from the life of God. This alienation is not because they don’t have the life but because they don’t know the world in which that life works.
They confess that they have eternal life, they sing praises about this life they carry however, they are both ignorant and indifferent to the world of eternity.
It is eternal life to know God. This means that the world of eternity starts to open up to you depending on your knowledge of God.
In Hebrews 11:3, the Bible says that the worlds were made by the word of God. Eternity is part of those worlds.
Only the Word can unlock the doors of eternity to you, throw open its windows, lead you across its streets and show you its pillars and foundations.
Study the Word with the consciousness that it is a gate to another world. Read it in this understanding. Seek intimacy with God in this wisdom.
Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 11:3, Ecclesiastes 3:11
GOLDEN NUGGET: It is eternal life to know God. The world of eternity starts to open up to you depending on your knowledge of God.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this truth. I embrace it with joy and walk in its manifestation. The world of eternity is open to me and is my daily reality. By this knowledge, I change this world to the glory of Your name, Amen.

1 Corinthians 15:56(KJV); The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
Critics of the grace message claim that one of the failures of grace preachers is in expressing their distaste towards sin by failing to teach against it.
They assume that once you speak about something then you impart strength to the hearers to overcome that issue. For example, if you tell someone, “Do not steal” then in hearing this, they find the strength and ability not to steal.
That is not the way it works. Our theme scripture reveals that the strength of sin is the law. Instead of stirring inner strength by speaking the law, one instead strengthens sin.
In Romans 6:14, the Bible says, “For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.” Under the law, sin is so strengthened that it takes on the place of a master over one’s life.
What God requires from us is to give men Christ, the person of the grace because it is from Him that we draw strength to overcome all manner of weakness.
The law strengthens the hold of sin while grace imparts the strength to overcome sin.
Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY: John 1:17, Romans 6:14
GOLDEN NUGGET: What God requires from us is to give men Christ, the person of the grace because it is from Him that we draw strength to overcome all manner of weakness.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this Word. I receive and embrace its truth as the testimony of my life. I am submitted to Christ, the person of the grace and He alone has dominion over my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Job 3:25-26(AMP); For the thing which I greatly fear comes upon me, and that of which I am afraid befalls me. I was not or am not at ease, nor had I or have I rest, nor was I or am I quiet, yet trouble came and still comes [upon me].
There are people in this life who are skilled in the art of discussing their problems. They jump from one sympathizer to the next airing their grievances with no sense of discrimination whatsoever. That is not the path of the wise.
This does not mean you should not have confidants. It is a good thing to have people you confide in but you cannot be the kind of person who confides in everyone and who hops from place to place discussing your pain, your fears or your failures.
That sort of habit is a real recipe for trouble to befall you. Job, in our theme scripture testifies to this. He says, ” I was not or am not at ease, nor had I or have I rest, nor was I or am I quiet, yet trouble came and still comes [upon me].” He was never quiet about his fears and spoke about them needlessly.
When you give trouble too much attention, you attract it into your life.
There are demons that thrive on attention. The more you speak about an issue, the worse it becomes. You must learn to ignore the enemy.
Paul tells Timothy, “endure hardship like a good soldier.” (2 Timothy 2:3).
Part of the strength of a great warrior is the fortitude demonstrated by silence: you don’t have to announce your pain to the whole world.
Walk in the quiet confidence of a true warrior.
FURTHER STUDY: 2 Timothy 2:3, James 1:12
GOLDEN NUGGET: Part of the strength of a great warrior is the fortitude demonstrated by silence: you don’t have to announce your pain to the whole world. You must learn to ignore the enemy.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this Word. I embrace this knowledge as a true warrior for the kingdom. Because I carry inner strength, I live quiet and confident from the fear of evil. My lips are for praise and grace and never give the enemy attention. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

2 Chronicles 20:15(KJV) And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.
There is a difference between a war and a battle. A war is a collection of battles. The war is on the large scale while battles are on a smaller scale. For example, in the first world war, there were a series of battles such as the battle of Verdun, of Jutland, of Cambrai and many others.
Like it is in the physical realm, so it is in the spiritual realm. The Christian’s war is the fight of faith to believe that everything was finished at the cross of Calvary. The battles are the trials and tests that come our way to prove our faith.
In the wisdom of warfare, God has not called us to fight battles but to fight wars. Our weapons are not for battle, they are for warfare. The battle belongs to the Lord.
Sadly however, many Christians are caught up in battles. They are fighting battles with disease, legal battles over property, battles in the upbringing of their children, battles in relationships and battles in ministry. It is a classic case of majoring in the minor and minoring in the major.
As a result, many are wounded and bleeding because they forgot that these were not for them to fight.
If you understand our true war, which is the fight of faith, you will rest through the battles because you understand that they are for God to fight.
Are you struggling in any area of your life, rest in God because that battle is for Him to fight. Trust that it is finished and sit back and enjoy your victory ride.
Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY: 1 John 5:4, Isaiah 9:5
GOLDEN NUGGET: If you understand our true war, which is the fight of faith, you will rest through the battles because you understand that they are for God to fight.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this Word. I embrace its truth and walk in its reality. Victory is mine and this is the confidence with which I live my life. My eyes are set on You who finished it all and never on my present circumstances. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
KUFANYA VITA, SI KUPIGANA VITA
Mtume Grace Lubega
Haleluya!
MASOMO YA ZIADA: 1 Yohana 5: 4, Isaya 9: 5

Acts 17:23(KJV); For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, To The Unknown God. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.
Ancient Greece, before the birth of philosophy, lived by a mythological world view. They had gods like Zeus, Apollo, Hera and Athene among others.
To have an “unknown God” in such a society was truly a paradox in spirituality.
How did such men with centuries steeped in mythology build an altar, offer sacrifices and worship an UNKNOWN God? To answer this question, one would have to look carefully at the just criticisms of the theology of the time by the likes of Xe-nophanes.
What the Greeks had done was to create gods in the image of men resembling mortals in character and disposition, prone to pettiness and revenge. They created gods in their likeness and gave them human egos and human character attributes.
God could only be unknown to such people if He was unknown in CHARACTER and PERSONALITY.
It is a tragedy of the faith; that the Church today, though centuries away from the men at Areopagus, is still close to them in ignorance of the God they claim to worship.
Men know He exists but are far from the knowledge of His character and personality: the God of love, mercy, kindness and unending compassion.
For example, when men fall ill and our pulpits declare that it is the will of God, it is because He is worshipped yet unknown. Unknown in character, unknown in personality.
When failure follows some like a dark shadow, and our pulpits proclaim that God willed so, it is because the God worshipped is still unknown. Unknown in character and nature.
He says in Daniel 11:32 that those that know their God shall do exploits. Healing is an exploit and as such a testimony to the God we know. Success is an exploit and a testimony to the God we know. Growth is an exploit and a testimony to the God we know.
God is a good God! In Him is no shadow of turning. It is time our pulpits denounced the unknown God and gave allegiance to the Good God, the God we know!
Hallelujah!
FURTHER STUDY: Daniel 11:32, 1 Corinthians 2:10
GOLDEN NUGGET: When failure follows some like a dark shadow, and our pulpits proclaim that God willed so, it is because the God worshipped is still unknown. Unknown in character and nature.
PRAYER: My loving Father, I know You. I know what You have done and what You can do. I know Your goodness and Your everlasting kindness. I do not see You through the eyes of ignorance but the eyes of illumination because my life is a testimony of Your grace, mercy and kindness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Acts 17:23(KJV); For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, To The Unknown God. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.
God can never be known to you if He is one among many.
This was the dilemma of the men that Paul met at Athens. They had many other gods and the “unknown God” was merely a number among others.
God can only be known to those that not only have Him as their priority but also understand that He is the only God over their lives.
There are Christians for whom God is classified alongside their jobs, businesses, spouses, children, cars, houses, mobile phones and even their ministries. They think they are worshipping the one and only true God despite the other priorities in their lives that dominate their time.
To such, He is still the unknown God because you cannot seek Him with all your heart and He remains unknown; you cannot give Him all your attention and He remains unknown; you cannot lose all things for His sake and He remains unknown.
The more time you devote to other things outside the presence of God, the less known He is to you.
God wants you to know Him but to do that He must not be one among many. You must examine your life and how you spend your time. If you truly desire to know Him then He must have all your attention.
His name be praised.

Luke 17: 15-16(KJV); And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
In this life of salvation, there are people who settle for less than what God desires for them. For example, in our theme scripture, nine lepers settled for healing and only one received wholeness.
How did the Samaritan leper receive wholeness?
Our Lord and saviour asked the lepers to go to the High Priest and show themselves to Him and as they went, they were cleansed. The Samaritan understood that Christ was a priest in the Melchizedek order and He turned back to Him while the rest proceeded to go and show themselves to the priest under the levitical order.
Wholeness comes with the true revelation of who Christ is. This knowledge becomes a future garrison against any attacks of the enemy.
It is a good thing to be prayed for so that you receive your miracle. But receiving a miracle today does not mean that you will never be attacked by disease again as long as you live. Wholeness is the guarantee that if disease is to ever come, you have the revelation to triumph because you know who is in you.
It is a wonderful thing to be prayed for so you get a job. But that prayer does not mean that you will walk out of the clutches of poverty. Wholeness is what guarantees that the grace of divine providence will work continually in your life.
God wants to give you more than a job, a business deal or healing from that sickness. He wants you to know Him because in knowing Him, you receive more than a miracle but the source of miracles. That is wholeness!
FURTHER STUDY: Hebrews 7:17, Ephesians 1:17-19
GOLDEN NUGGET: God wants to give you more than a job, a business deal or healing from that sickness. He wants you to know Him because in knowing Him, you receive more than a miracle but the source of miracles. That is wholeness!
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this Word. I live in the patterns of wholeness. Divine health and divine providence are mine. Fullness is mine. Strength is mine. I have the source of all good things because you are in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Proverbs 22:3(KJV); A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.
It is simplicity to tumble needlessly into the hands of evil. You should not live a life that is so open to wickedness that you always find yourself as the object of constant pain and trouble.
That is why God gave us wisdom. A wise man foresees evil and hides himself while the simple man becomes a victim of it.
In Proverbs 1:4, the Bible says that wisdom gives subtility to the simple. The world is a hostile place to those who do not know God. Wisdom shows us the hows of existence.
Faith is not naivety as some assume.
In assigning his disciples to the task of reaching the lost, Christ gave them a lesson in subtility. In Matthew 10:16, He says, “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.”
There are Christians who have lost their lives in the work of ministry, not because it was their time to depart from the body but because they lack this subtility.
They made the right statements in the wrong places; they fought battles that were not theirs to fight; zeal took them to places that the Spirit of God did not want them to go into.
The subtility of the wise teaches you where to go and where not to. It shows you whom to partner with and whom to avoid. It shows you what path to take and which path to stay out of.
FURTHER STUDY: Proverbs 1:4, Matthew 10:16
GOLDEN NUGGET: The subtility of the wise teaches you where to go and where not to. It shows you whom to partner with and whom to avoid. It shows you what path to take and which path to stay out of.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this wisdom. It is my reality and I walk in it every day. I know how to thrive in even the most dangerous places because I have the subtility of the wise. I know what to speak in the most violent environments because I am prudent in spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

1 Peter 1:8(KJV); Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
It is a fact that many Christians in their walk of salvation have not seen Christ in the flesh. He has not appeared to them in visions or spoken to them in dreams. Nonetheless, they believe, trust and rely on Him as the risen Lord.
The Message Version of our theme scripture relates, “You never saw him, yet you love him. You still don’t see him, yet you trust him–with laughter and singing.”
It is this same expression of faith that God expects us to have in all areas of our lives.
For example, take the issue of health. If you receive the prayer of faith for your healing, do you need a machine to re-check you and confirm that you are truly healed? That is for the immature. When a mature spirit truly believes that he is healed, he does not even need a doctor’s report as a stamp of confirmation of the report of the Lord.
If you have not seen Christ in the body but still believe, in the same way, you don’t need to be put through a machine again to know that you are healed.
A mature spirit does not need evidence. He has not seen, but nevertheless rejoices with joy unspeakable.
This applies to your finances, to your ministry, to your marriage and relationships and to any aspect of your life.
Faith is all the evidence that you need. As long as you have believed, rejoice like one in possession of what you desire. Don’t wait for what you see, hear or feel to move you, let faith move you.
Hallelujah!

James 1:22(KJV); But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
The Greek word for “doers” in our theme scripture is “poiētēs” which is translated to mean, among other things, “a poet.”
A poet is a person who makes something out of words. He knows how to weave with beautiful skill the fabric of words to produce beauty.
That is how God expects us to be with His own Word!
The Lord has made great and wondrous promises to us in the scriptures. He has told us who we are and what we can do in Him. We are heads and not tails, above and not beneath. We are the light of the world, a city on a hill that cannot be hid. We are stars, shining brighter and brighter unto a perfect day. The Bible is full of line upon line of endless possibilities.
What are you doing with such beautiful material?
Some people have heard these words over and over but they are not poets of the Word! Even when they are in dire situations that only the Word can beautify, they are silent in their misery and passive in affliction.
A poet is vigilant in expression. Silence is not an art form. You must do something with the Word.
If disease dares to come, get a hold of the Word and weave some poetry. “By his stripes, I was healed. Disease is shackled in the past and has no gateway into my present and future.”
If situations dare to question your identity, arise in scriptural poetry and declare, “I am the offspring of divinity, not blood-begotten, not flesh-begotten but God-begotten!”
The Word is near you, it is in your mouth (Romans 10:8) and in it is the answer to that situation. Speak it! Declare it! Own it! Walk in it! Paint your world in it!
Hallelujah!

GOLDEN NUGGET: A poet of the Word is vigilant in expression. Silence is not an art form. You must do something with the Word.

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this Word. I receive it in my spirit and walk in its manifestation. My world is a Word-world. The Bible says that by faith we know that that the worlds were made by the Word of God. I fashion my world with Your Word, I define its streets, its buildings and its systems with the Word. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Matthew 21:22(KJV); And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
The spirit of faith has no disqualification clauses.
Faith has no disqualifications because it is a liberty in God. The only check by God on these liberties is that they should not be used as a cloak of maliciousness but in service to God (1 Peter 2:16).
The Bible says whatsoever you ask in prayer believing. It does not qualify this statement and say, “when you have done all the right things in the eyes of God.” It does not say, “when you have fasted and prayed for forty days.”
Some people shackle the liberties of and in faith because, in their minds, they have already qualified it. Why should you restrict that which God in His wisdom has not restricted?
Moreover, the greatest disqualification is themselves. They make statements such as “I AM not clean enough”, ” I have not prayed enough”, “I AM not anointed enough.”
Because God cannot stand disqualifications on faith, He went ahead and dealt with you as a possible restriction and says, that you are dead and yet you live but it is Christ who lives in you and the life that you live is by the faith of Christ and not your faith(Galatians 2:20).
When we say, “stretch your faith”, it means that you should not allow any restrictions to it, whether they are restrictions of self or restrictions of circumstances. Choose to believe God beyond the voice of personal limitations and the voice of the storms around you.
His name be praised!
FURTHER STUDY: Galatians 2:20, 1 John 5:4
GOLDEN NUGGET: Faith has no disqualifications because it is a liberty in God. Choose to believe God beyond the voice of personal limitations and the voice of the storms around you.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this Word. I am a child of faith and I walk in it as the testimony of my life. Today, I stretch my faith muscles, trusting in You beyond what I see, think or feel. Nothing moves me but Your Word. Nothing shakes me but Your counsel in my spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
