Phaneroo 104 : The Steward Requirement

THE EXPECTATION OF RESPONSIBILITY

Luke 19:12 , 13 (AMP) “He therefore said A certain noble man went into a distant country to obtain for himself a kingdom and then to return. Calling ten of his {own} bondservants, he gave tem ten minas (each equal to about one hundred day’s wages or nearly twenty dollars} and said to them Buy and sell with these while I go and then return.

The difference between a bond servant and just a servant here is a servant is somebody who against their will is taken to serve under any circumstances; they wish they were free but they don’t have the ability to be free–that’s a servant. Christians are not supposed to have that kind of mentality in ministry. Paul always introduced himself in the scriptures as a bond servant of God. He says, ‘I Paul which is a bond servant.’A bond servant in the Jewish culture was a servant who would serve under a time frame of service and at the end of that time he was free to go, but some of them because they served under a house master who was very generous and loving, they fell in love with their master and chose to serve him by choice- that’s a bond servant. A bond servant is a man who is free though makes himself a servant by choice because he has a relationship with the master out of a past experience that makes him feel that he would rather serve this man than go elsewhere – that is salvation!

Luke 12 :47,48(KJV)  And that servant, which knew his Lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. Vs. 48 but he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

Great gifts demand greater responsibilities, to whom much is given, much is required.  When a man goes to God and says, ‘I want a gift, Father I want a gift to heal, I want a gift to prophesy, I want a gift to cast our devils, I want a gift to demonstrate power, I want a gift to make money,’ you must understand that every gift comes with responsibility, to whom much is given, much is required. When men commit to you, they desire too much. You must   understand the price of the gift on your life.  Inspite of the grace on your life, if you have no understanding, you will be put in a place where you start to carry frustrations later of the very things you asked for because you did not carry the tenacity for the gift.

DO SOMETHING FOR THE GOSPEL

1 Corinthians  4:2 says, moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.  It is required that in stewards a man be found faithful; this is faithfulness to the call.

Many of you have been fed with too much knowledge not to deliver. Understand that there is an expectation of you to deliver a certain way because you know too much. Many of you don’t know how much has been given you, you have received too much not to be responsible in the Gospel. Many of you in the churches you go to, in the fellowships where you are at, you are irresponsible because you don’t have any responsibility except prayer requests. There is an anointing that comes to men who serve.

How much do you know? how much responsibility have you taken because of how much you know? And what you’re asking for are you ready to take responsibility and the required judgment and maturity to sustain it because you’re asking for it? Because I have seen many men destroyed because they didn’t know how to handle what they received.

People don’t just build ministries, people don’t just get married they don’t just do business they don’t just get jobs, So if you understand the underlying principles, DO SOMETHING FOR THE GOSPEL!

Phaneroo 102 : Prayer Code 7

Weightier Issues

Religion is a spirit, it is not a state or an institution. It is the spirit that tends to take a man back to bondage because of what he does not know. When you know the truth, the truth makes you free.

The Bible speaks of legal people like the Pharisees and Sadducees and says that they leave out the weightier issues.

Matthew 23:23 says; Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

The spirit of religion leaves out the weightier issues of the gospel and once these are left out, the gospel becomes a light experience. It becomes something that is not worth expediting because on its own it does not give a man the hunger to search out that which is weighty.  The word of God is a weight. And that is what translates as the glory of God upon your life.

The Amplified renders it thus; Woe to you, [self-righteous] scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you give a tenth (tithe) of your mint and dill and cumin [focusing on minor matters], and have neglected the weightier [more important moral and spiritual] provisions of the Law: justice and mercy and faithfulness; but these are the [primary] things you ought to have done without neglecting the others.

In the gospel, there are things that are weightier than others. Even when you read the Bible, you realize that certain truths are weightier than others.

Religion leaves out these weightier issues. For example, you might be familiar with Philippians 2:12. It says; wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Many people concentrate on the working out of salvation with fear and trembling yet the weightier issue is in the next line.  It says;  For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Religion knows that the moment you introduce ‘for it is God,’ then you disqualify the ability of any man. Understand that here, the pendulum swings between two entities. The number two represents transition of one life into a better life. If you are dealing with the scriptures, you will realize that some swing on the pendulum of a lighter truth into a heavier truth. What religion does is that it picks out the lighter and leaves out the weightier because the weightier presents Christ.  The lighter casts to Christ, the second explains what has been cast.  The first one gives light, the second one explains it. The first line speaks of working out your salvation, the second line speaks of how you work out that salvation.

If a man does not see the second line, he will start working out his salvation and then leave God out of it.

Phaneroo 101 Sermon

The responsibility of Prayer

Many people ask and receive not because they want to consume it upon their own lusts [James 4:3]. The mind of the Spirit is not invented in their lives enough to receive certain things because even if the things they ask for are good in themselves, the end of them is the lust of their eyes, the lust of their flesh and the pride of life [1 John 2:16].

I have seen many people lusting in what they define as purpose.  Yet in 1 Corinthians 13:3, He says that though I give my body to be burned, and have not love, it profits me nothing. In other words, it is possible for a man to die as a martyr, yet when you check his heart, you realise that he lusted for the anointing. He says even if you give all your goods to the poor but have no love, it is all in vain. It is not enough to say that just because you are a good giver then you love God. It is not enough to say that just because you are serving God every day then you love him. Examine yourself whether you be in the faith [2 Corinthians 13:5].

The word of God must get into your spirit, separate every bone and marrow, cut asunder and expose every thought for what it really is [Hebrews 4:12]. Woman, why do you want a healing anointing? Sister, why do you want to prophesy? Brother, why do you want to be deep? Why do you want your church to expand? Why do you want an increase in your business? Why do you want a man? Many are lusting and because they are lusting, the mind of the spirit cannot work in them because the mind of God is purely about divine purpose. God must take pre-eminence, he requires that priority. Everything that I do, I must weigh it against why am lusting to do it. Am I doing it because I want people to say wow, this guy is cool or am doing it entirely in the mind of the spirit?

The State of Your Heart

God has to deal with your heart. Some of you want to be used of God but your heart is not right. A young man once came to me and told me, ‘apostle, I want to build a big ministry, I think you can teach me how’ and the spirit told me, ‘he has no part nor lot in this’.  He was like Simon the sorcerer. Simon was Born Again, he had believed and followed the apostles around but the Bible says that he asked to buy the anointing [Acts 8:18]. If it was in our day, he could have simply gotten the money and put it in the kingdom and people say we thank God that brother Simon bought equipment yet at the end of the day, he did not buy equipment because he wanted to serve God but he still had the same spirit at work in him when he was still the ‘great power of God’ as a sorcerer that always exposed his heart to the praises of men. God told him that he had no part nor lot in that matter for his heart was not right in the sight of God [Acts 8:21].  There is nothing God cannot do in you. Just check the state of your heart because out of it flow the issues of life [Proverbs 4:23].

David asks God to test and examine his heart. Why do you want a job? Why do you want that increase?  Why do you want that marriage? Why do you want that promotion? Why do you want to see in the spirit? Why do you want to hear in the spirit?  Why do you want to do miracles signs and wonders? The mind of an instructed man in the kingdom carries the reasons of divine purpose. The man who is not instructed lusts.  And when you lust, I tell you, you will be consumed by the very thing that is supposed to raise you up. Many people die therein because they don’t know the difference between true love and lust. That is why the flesh must die. For we which have believed in Christ have crucified our flesh [Galatians 5:24].

Many people come in the presence of Christ, very selfishly, very selfishly.  Do you know how many ministers have failed to go ahead in the things of the ministry because every time God looks at the man’s heart he finds that it is not right? Yes the man gives, yes the man sows, he does everything right but he never progresses. Then you think God has purposed for others to be blessed except you. No, go back and examine your heart brother, you might find that you are lusting for the things that ought to be working in you by the love of God.

Many of you, if only the liberties of this access were given to you, if only the law of liberty was revealed to you in its fullness, and the Lord opened your eyes to the back end of the things in eternity, the lusting for the things in eternity would kill you only because you are consumed by the glory of the beauty of those things without understanding the integrity that comes with them.

That is why men walk in the spirit, go into the heavenly places, see the glassy sea and the angels but come back without the message of divine purpose. All they have is an experience of things lusted for. Then before you know it, other men start to lust for these very things, they go to the presence of God and say, ‘God, I want to visit heaven, I want to see things in the spirit.’ But the question is, ‘why? You want to see them such that you do what? It is not that God cannot give them to you, but when he looks at your heart, you just want a place of glory, such that you can stand before multitudes and tell them, ‘I went to heaven on this day’. That is why for many, their testimonies do not carry the multiplication of grace on the lives of their hearers because the experience is done ON you and FOR you but not done IN you. Paul said I would rather not speak save of the things that Christ has wrought IN me to make the gentiles obedient both by words and deed [Romans 15:18]. The grace of God multiplies in the lives of men around you when you stop lusting. If you don’t and these things eventually come to you, one day, you might be too rich to pray, too rich to serve God. Some people are only in ministry because they don’t have jobs yet, because they are not yet married but the day the man comes, they will no longer come to church.

That is the difference between a man who stores riches on the earth and a man who stores up treasures in heaven. Everything that man does has a heavenly implication and results that echo through eternity. That is a man of the kingdom.  Is your heart in the gospel? Where a man’s heart is, his treasure is also. Your treasure is where your heart is and your heart is where your treasure is. We had a group of guys back in campus, when we had just met God and we used to go on prayer mountains for hours and just say, ‘God, use us. Use us. Use us’. Today, people don’t make those prayers or if they ask to be used, it is because they like the camera. They just like the camera.

Jesus says God heard him always. Look at how he lived his life. Every answered prayer of the Christ, was a message. Everything he did, even walking on water. He did not walk on water for them to know that he was a man of God. He walked on water because he wanted to teach what it means for a man to walk by faith and defy the laws of the earth. Every miracle of the Christ had a hidden mystery.

If you are still at the level where you are doing things for men to approve you as a worker then you have lost it. Your primary approval is with God. He says, study the word that you might be approved unto God, a workman that needs not be ashamed [2 Timothy 2:15]. Our approval is by Christ. The word for approved used herein is ‘stephanos’, the Greek name for the apostle Steven. He was simply a cook but he had too much approved in his spirit that if there was necessity, he would do miracles, signs and wonders. He preached until the Christ stood up from his seat [Acts 7:56]. Stephanos, was the approved one of God, yet look at what he was doing, serving tables. That is why he says, let he who thinks that he is the greatest in the kingdom be least [Matthew 23:11]. Live your life as the least. Don’t feel too special to be used of God. We are anointed for service. If you are not getting married to serve, don’t get married, you have no part nor lot, if you are not doing ministry to serve, if you are not getting a job to become a better servant of Almighty God, don’t even waste your time.

That is why I pray for you. God deal with you. If it is understanding, he will manifest it, if it is a knowledge issue, he will bring it. God deal with you.

Phaneroo 95 Sermon

Of Veils

2 Corinthians 3:18; But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

When the Bible says we all with open face, it is all who believe. An unveiled face is one that is opened from the law. The Bible also says that up to this day, when Moses is read, their faces are veiled.  However, when you get in Jesus Christ, there are no veils. The legal mind has veils but those veils are done away with in Christ. These veils are not simply the reading of the Old Testament. The Old Testament has Christ therein. The Bible says in Luke 24:27; And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

If Jesus is revealed from Moses’ time and the Bible says that every time Moses is read, the veil covers some people’s eyes, yet the Bible also says that from Moses, he was expounding about himself, it means that Jesus is very present in the Old Testament dispensation. That means that the problem is not reading from the Old Testament per se but the problem is not beholding Christ in the Old Testament. There are many people who read the Old Testament but they do not see Christ there or they do not see the finished work of Christ from its beginning till its finish according to the revelation of the Old Testament dispensation.

Of Worship

Once these veils come in, we start to have certain forms by the way we interpret God. For example worshippers. One day I was listening to someone teach about worship and he said, ‘when you are worshipping, you are first in the outer court, then you move to the inner court before you get into the holy of holies’.

Now, between the outer court and the holy of holies, there was a veil. I have heard ministers telling people to go with them behind the veil.  It means that they are also not inside. We sing songs like ‘as I come into your presence, past the gates of praise, into your sanctuary…’ But if indeed you are coming into his presence, then you were not in his presence before. To get past the gates of praise into his sanctuary, you had to get past a veil. Do you see that the worshipper put a veil, yet the bible says in Christ there is no veil because in Christ the veil is done away with?  I have heard programmers who would say after worship, ‘welcome back from the presence’. The ultimate question is if you were welcomed back from there, where were you before you went in and when you begin service, where are you? It means you are out of the presence of God, that you listen to the word out of the presence of God until they sing another song to throw you up there. But no, the word is from above. Therefore we must understand that God has not created the new creature to be out of the presence. In him we live, in him we move, in him we have our own being.  You don’t need to feel the presence of God to know that he is in a place. Even if you don’t feel it, just know that you have him. You don’t need to feel Jesus to know that he is around. The Bible says, ‘that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith.’[Ephesians 3:17].

Of the Love of God

Jude 20-21; But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Some people pray in the Holy Ghost but they do not keep themselves in the love of God. It does not matter how many tongues you speak, keep yourself in the love of God. You might make an error in this life and then feel bad and judge yourself but when you get into the presence of God, do not go with that judgmental attitude. Even if you are the worst kind of person, come into the presence with boldness.  Some people think that by crying to God, they will earn his attention, no. God is not moved by tears. He is moved by revelation. It does not matter how many tears you cry.  If they are not in revelation, you are wasting your time.

Regardless of what you have done, God still loves you. Begin the relationship that way. You must always expect that there is mercy coming to you from God.

Phaneroo 89 Sermon

Of God

1 John 4:4Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

I had never fully understood the meaning of the word ‘of’ as used in this scripture until I noticed that it is a possessive term; it carries the place of origin. It means that the very make up of God is what you carry in the inside of you. We were walking at a certain place where we once were not because of the lust of this world but then because of the sacrifice of Christ Jesus, we were separated and now John writes and says that you are ‘of’ God, not you are ‘for’ God. There is a big difference between a person who is ‘of someone’ and someone who is ‘of someone.’ Everything that God carries inside of him is what you carry. That is why when he looks at you he says, ‘you are of me.’

When God saw us in the helpless state that we were in, he did not look at us and do nothing. The greater, being the influence of God, came into your life and consumed you to totality. That is why for everything that you are right now, none of it is your own; everything is of God. Your children are of God; your thoughts are of God; everything that is in the inside of you is of God. You do not have a will. When God wants to do anything he says that he wills and does through you. You can never be disadvantaged as a child of God. You cannot be in the same perils and failures like them who do not know God. Why? Because you are of God.

Of the Blood of Christ

Hebrews 9:13-14;

For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

In the past, it was required that sacrifices like bulls and goats be brought before God and these were a figure of Christ that was meant to die. The priests would only look. Those days it was an outward appearance that would approve you in the sight of God. The priests would look at an animal and say, ‘this one has a blemish’ and because it had a blemish, it could not satisfy what God wanted to satisfy. He would look at another and say by my judgment, this one is okay and can go to the holy of holies. But remember, the Bible says that the life is in the blood. He could not see in the inside of the animal. It means that this is a revelation of the grace of God even then because by the sight of the priest he could see the animal as clean and pure to be offered but maybe it had a disease that could not be seen with the naked eye. It was only God who could tell that the blood suffices. So how many times did God by his grace look at these people?

The blood that was of animals could only work in the flesh. It could only go so far but man was not just suffering in the flesh. There had to be something that goes much deeper. This is why Christ had to come as a perfect sacrifice. By his blood, we have been perfected because that blood not only take away sins (since the life is in the blood and Jesus says he is the light), the blood could see every evil thing that needed to be sorted in the inside of humanity. We were sanctified once and for all because this blood carried the efficacy.

Of the Efficacy of the Blood

Ephesians 1:13-14;

In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

When we trusted God, we just did not trust God and that marked the end of it. Our salvation came by the gospel of truth. What is truth? Christ said, ‘I am the light.’ Everywhere there is light, there is manifestation of truth. Only Christ could see what man could not see and by that, the gospel came and when the gospel came, you obtained glory.

The efficacy of the blood of Jesus is that everything that was obtained by his death lasts forever. If you obtained life, you have everlasting life. If you obtained glory, it is eternal glory, it cannot be taken away. If you obtained hope, it is a glorious hope, it cannot be taken away. You cannot be separated from the greatness that you carry. Everything that Christ died to give you belongs to you and is held together for you, not by your strength, working or power but by the heavenlies. So it is the duty of the heavenlies to ensure that your purpose is straight and accomplished.

You are a Love Seed

When you are in the love of God, you are in the highest place of the manifestation of signs and wonders. The Bible says that God is love; it also says that in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. If by the word, everything came into being, then by love everything came into being. That is why if you are born of God, you are a normal love seed; a normal love child. The Bible says that the love of God has been shed abroad in your spirit; you naturally love. For God so loved the world that he gave; not ‘for God so burned in wrath’. The Bible says that while we were yet sinners he died. So God looked at the fornicator and loved. God looked at the thief, the prostitute and loved because it is impossible to separate God from love. When the love of God is perfected inside you, you enter heights of manifestation in your generation.

Phaneroo 87 Sermon

The wisdom of the Prudent

The bible says that the wisdom of the prudent man is to know the way of the Lord. (Proverbs 14:8) the reason why it is important to know the way of God is because you can explain his ways. If you only understand his ways it’s possible not to understand his way of doing things. You cannot interpret God by his ways, you can only interpret Him by his way and then His way starts to reveal His ways.

Of Revelation

The Bible says that there was a time when the Holy of Holies was not revealed, even though there is a physical representation of the holy of holies there is a revelation of being in the holiest place in God. It’s a revelation. That’s why the bible says in Hebrews 9:6-8; Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service [of God]. But into the second [went] the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and [for] the errors of the people: The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing: (in other words when the 1st tabernacle was standing the holiest of all was not revealed. It had to be manifested, it had to be revealed. The holiest place in God is a revelation. It’s an existence that is not straightforward for every naked eye to see otherwise all Christians would see God, hear God and experience Him equally but to many it’s not yet revealed.

Redeeming the Time

God is a God of seasons and times. You can understand your season but if you don’t know your time you cannot get results in your season. That is the problem of the man who spends 38 years at the pool of Bethesda (John 5:5-8). The season of the angel stirring water was known but every time he wanted to get in the bible says another man got in before because when the season came another man calculated time quicker than this fellow. Many are at that pool spiritually but cannot get in because other men know how to take occasion and opportunity of time.

The greatest asset in this life is time, it’s not resources but rather having the opportunity to cease time. The scriptures have taught us that there is a possibility to redeem time. Ephesians 5:16; Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.(KJV)It is possible to redeem time, it’s possible to do something in one year which could have taken 10 years  and it’s possible to do something in 10 years which you could have done in one year.

The difference between the most blessed and the most disadvantaged men on this earth is how time worked in their favor. In other words they earned quicker what takes other men more years to earn.

Of Reformation

Hebrews 9:9-10; Which [was] a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; [Which stood] only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed [on them] until the time of reformation. So when the time of reformation came, everything changed. In this instance what is reformation?

When we define reformation many people don’t understand the price of reformation. Reformation is a situation where men go off the truth and the right line of truth without the knowledge that they are off. He spoke of the time of reformation and said these stood in meat in Hebrews because reformation begins when the conscience is aligned to truth. When a conscience is already compromised and he meets a reformer spirit, they will fight. They are not fighting because the reformer is wrong but because the man’s conscience is not yet perfected in God.

Wisdom To Direct

Ecclesiastes 10:10 If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom [is] profitable to direct

The Wisdom to Direct

This means that if you want to cut anything for example meat and the iron you have is blunt then you must use more strength. So the sharper the edge of that iron the lesser the strength you use to cut to get what you need. Put that in our daily experiences, the reason why people labour too much and use much strength and receive little is because the iron is blunt. The Bible says if it’s not whet you will require more strength. So there are two things, you either sharpen your iron and cut with precision and speed and are quickened in everything that you are doing or you take longer. Then the bible says that wisdom is profitable to direct. The word there for “directing” is to proceed to success, to execute quicker. In other words there is a necessity to succeed. Wisdom is a precision. The reason why many Christians are slowed is wisdom. That is why the Bible says that Ephraim is an unwise son for he tarries longer in a place where men ought to give birth.

Hosea 13:12-13 says; The iniquity of Ephraim [is] bound up; his sin [is] hid. The sorrows of a travailing woman shall come upon him: he [is] an unwise son; for he should not stay long in [the place of] the breaking forth of children. It means that he is not supposed to delay where they produce and because of that the Bible calls him an unwise son. If he had wisdom when he reached the place of bringing forth, he would bring forth quicker.

You Make Your Way

I have seen a laxity in the Christian faith where people give excuses for failing because we have learnt how to do so. I saw a taxi with an inscription saying “we would have worked but because of those ones…”. He didn’t specify who but he said ‘those ones’. I will tell you the truth; when you mature in faith the first thing that you learn is taking responsibility for your life. You might not be responsible for the family you were raised in, for the situations you are going through, who gave you a job and who didn’t, who gave you an audience and who didn’t, who stepped on you and who didn’t. But you are responsible for your next step in life. Why? Because Joshua 1:8 says, This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Whether there is somebody standing in your way or not, whether there is somebody who wants it or not, whether there is somebody who loves you that way or not, whether there is somebody to support you there or not, whether the whole world is fighting you or not, God said, ‘then shall ye have good success and make your prosperous’. You make your way.

Wisdom Makes the Difference

Now the man lacks wisdom so the iron is blunt because wisdom in itself is the entity needed to sharpen the iron. Because he doesn’t have the mind to sharpen the iron, it is blunt and he has to use more energy. This is the reason why somebody takes twenty years to do what takes another two days. It’s okay if they are not Born Again but it’s not okay if you are Born Again. God wants better for you. This world is too big for each one of us to fulfill our dreams. Each one of us can have a share in this and all be a success in what God has called us to do.

What is the difference between a man who makes 24 million in 3 hours and one who makes it in 40 years? WISDOM. That is why the bible says in Proverbs 3:13-15 Happy (blessed, fortunate, enviable) is the man who finds skillful and godly Wisdom, and the man who gets understanding [drawing it forth from God’s Word and life’s experiences], For the gaining of it is better than the gaining of silver, and the profit of it better than fine gold. Skillful and godly Wisdom is more precious than rubies; and nothing you can wish for is to be compared to her. (AMP). In verse 15, the message version says, Her value exceeds all the trappings of wealth; nothing you could wish for holds a candle to her (MSG). Proverbs 3:16-18; Length of days is in her right hand, and in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are highways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who lay hold on her; and happy (blessed, fortunate, to be envied) is everyone who holds her fast (AMP).

You cannot carry wisdom and worry about life or money. With it, you will live long.

If Our Gospel Be Hid

2 Corinthians 4:3-5 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.

If Our Gospel Be Hid

I was meditating about this and it seemed so apparent how true it is, that if our Gospel be hid, it is hid from them that are lost. The truth is that our Gospel is hid from some people. The god of this world has blinded them that believe not. The blindness comes because they believe not lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ should shine unto them.

Even though we preach, this Gospel is hid to many which are lost. Sadly I have realized that it is hid from men who profess the faith, they which say they are Christian and Born Again. There are things men call light but they are not light, they are darkness in their own selves but because they are unveiled to them some think that anything unveiled is light.

Of the Testaments

For example, when you look at the New and Old testaments you wonder, why did God choose 2 testaments only? Why not 3 or 4? Why old and new? Why not 1st and 2nd? Why do we have old and new? The word testament means covenant, it’s more of a will. When we go to the Old Testament dispensation, the men of old didn’t see what you and I are seeing. If you understand a testament as a will, you appreciate that the place of a covenant is a place where there is a requirement of the death of the testator. The Bible says in Hebrews 9:16; For where a testament [is], there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. The will of a man can only take effect if he is dead. There is no necessity to enforce a will when a man is still alive. So then I will ask you; what death necessitated the Old Testament?

The way God looked at the Old Testament was that he wanted to teach the church something. But before he teaches them what the real point is, he wants to first put a testament for them so that they have the appreciation of that life it is meant to show before he takes them into the life of Christ. So everything done and made by God in the Old Testament is just a picture to point men to the need of Christ. When Christ comes, he begins the New Testament. If Christ had come before the New Testament, they might not have appreciated it when he finally came in the New Testament. There is something God wanted to bring but he knew people would take it for granted or misunderstand because they didn’t know how important it was so he gave them the old that would point to how important the new is.

That is why the bible speaks of experiences where the scriptures see that God would justify the Gentiles by faith and so he goes and preaches the Gospel to Abraham saying in thee shall all nations be blessed. (Galatians 3:8) So when he preaches and Abraham understands it, Abraham is not dealing with the children of Israel by mistake. He deals with them as one who understands the original script. It is the same thing with Moses and all the prophets of old. Moses refused to be called the son of the daughter of Pharaoh esteeming Christ’s greater riches than the pleasure of sin because he had respect for the recompence. (Hebrews 11:24-26) But how can he esteem Christ if he has not seen him? That means that what Jesus does is; he goes to these Old Testament fellows, reveals himself to them and gives them the fine print of what he is up to. So, all of them are part and parcel of and contributing to this one end-that they will lead men to the position of need and appreciation of the life of Christ which was to come in the next dispensation.

As a new creature this is how you view the Old Testament; as something that reflects the real Christ. The bible calls it the shadow of things to come but the substance is of Christ. Jesus is the substance of that shadow cast in the law.

Of the Order of Things

I have realized that the church has run out of the true order of the spirit. When we walk out of the true order of the spirit, it does not matter how accurately and articulately our doctrine or sermons or discourses are laid before men, we will still minister disorder in the lives of people because if a man does not understand the order of events, the bible calls him a man which ministers questions in the hearts of hearers rather than Godly edification which is after faith. People go back with questions because every time you minister to them out of order it does not matter how articulate you are. You might minister something that just takes them out of order. We need to know the order of these things. What are the first principles of the oracles?

Hebrews 6:1 says;

Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God.

That means if the church has to follow the first order, the first thing in the church is repentance from dead works. Dead works are the works of the law. If a man has not gone past that, he cannot go to the secondary things.

Hebrews 9:14;

How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Dead works are the things a man does to get to God, instead of embracing what God wants or has done in that man’s life. Firstly, when a man is Born Again, he should repent from dead works. For every born again, the moment you come to Jesus Christ, the fist difference you have to see is the law and the grace. Because the law was by Moses and has been existent but grace and truth came by Jesus. The bible says for the law is read in every city. Study many of these religions such as Islam; it’s all about the law. They have been there so long. So when a man shifts from the first principle of laying of the foundation of repentance from dead works, he moves to faith toward God. The works of faith come after the man has understood repentance from dead works. People who are so given to the teaching of the law and are under it do not see the miraculous like the people who walk in the grace of God because they have not yet broken through the foundation which is repentance from dead works and faith toward God. When a man understands the grace, the miraculous becomes a daily life experience.

Sowing To The Spirit

[Phaneroo 83]

The Bible is Just a Sample

And there are also many other things which Jesus did, which if they were recorded one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written [John 21:25].

There are many things that were done by the Christ but they were not recorded. If the bible says that there are many things that Jesus did and that if we have to write them down, the scriptures tell us that the earth cannot contain the books that could be written, it means that the Bible is only a sample of who Jesus is. The Bible is too small to tell us about all that Jesus is.

John who is writing knows those things that were not written. Don’t think he is imaginatively supposing. He could have said ‘there could be’ but he says there are many things Jesus did. Now when John is writing, he has to pick a few of these things. Jesus is bigger than even the Bible.  He is bigger than what we read in the word; these are just a few pages about the man.

Of the Dimensions of Christ’s Teaching

The reason why we do not see God is because we do not understand the dimension by which he teaches men. God is not subject to the way we think he ought to teach or we think men ought to learn and sometimes I have seen that delusion around the camp. That is why Paul says, ‘let us go without the camp and bear the reproach of Christ.’ There is a camp which thinks that Jesus has to be predictable and fit in their box the way they think he should. If he does not do it a certain way then it is not God. That is why when the disciples meet a man casting out demons, they forbid him because he did not follow with them.

Now here is the challenge. I thought a disciple was going to ask Jesus Christ, ‘How did this one learn? We were with you. You spoke to 5000 people, you fed us and we walked with you. When we were alone, you expounded the parables, and you healed the sick while we were there. We watched you opening blind eyes, raising the dead and healing the sick. We saw you with our very own eyes. How did you teach a man who was not with us? How did you reveal yourself to a man who was not with us?’

The Bible says that, By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.   It means that Jesus appeared to Moses, but not in the fashion and way men think he ought to appear. So Moses refused to be called the son of the daughter of pharaoh because when he saw Christ, he started to respect the recompense of the reward. He started to have a certain honour of the reward that should come with that and the Bible says that he counted the house of Pharoah lower.

Let me tell you; men don’t just leave comfort zones. If a man has seen Jesus, he will let go of anything that he holds dear; he will let go of those things that you think are important. If you see men who are not ready to lay down their lives, they have not seen Christ. I see Christians who are still being pleaded with to pray and preach; they have not really seen Jesus. The day you see Jesus, everything grows strangely deem; everything starts to loose sense and meaning.

The challenge with many Christians today is that many people have not seen the Christ. He has not been revealed. They love him, yes, but they have not seen him or interacted with him. You cannot see God and stay the same. You cannot see Christ and walk away.

Look at Cornelius. The Bible says that he was a devout man. He was not a Jew. He was an Italian but the Bible says that the angel of the Lord appeared to him. I always tell people that there is always a place for men who are hungry; it is there.

Now, when we look at the man who is casting out devils, he was not shown “the five steps of rebuking devils”  or “Seven ways to know that spirits have left” or “Thirteen ways to identify which demon is tormenting an individual” or “two ways to know whether you can rebuke or not” or “three easy steps to demon chasing. He did not have those books but God taught him.

That is why you ought to take heed of men who are taught outside the camp. When Jesus Christ revealed himself to Paul, he said that no man taught him this gospel. He was in Damascus preaching “Jesus is Lord”. But when Jesus wanted to take him to a certain depth, he separated him unto an experience in Arabia. When he was in Arabia, he was not in Bible school. I am not saying that there is no place for Bible school in a man’s life but I have seen men who have come from bible school and they still don’t know Jesus because there is something deeper about God and the way he wants to teach you that is deeper than any camp. Because of the fulfillment of prophesy that in the last days knowledge shall increase and fill the earth, I have come to the understanding that God is going to start and has started teaching men in ways we can never understand. The one thing I know is that men shall start speaking and other men will ask themselves; where did this one go to school? People will start asking you; ‘how did you get it? Where did you dig it from?’ And honestly, you won’t be able to explain it because the way God teaches is too diverse to be limited to the way we think he should teach.

His Depths and Heights

John 8:31-36; Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Of Abiding

The word for continue used therein is  meno, the very word for abiding. So he says, ‘If you abide in my word, then are ye my disciples. If you stay present to me, then you are my disciples’. It is not about attending fellowship. Attending fellowship is the outside duty. The Bible says to be present with the lord, is to be absent from the body. The sad experience is that whenever we use that scripture of being absent from the body, people think it alludes to death only. However, you can never have an experience of the presence of almighty God until you are absent from the body.

When the bible says that if you continually stay and are present to God, that you become disciples and then you know the truth, the pattern of knowledge is that we stay present before God to know truth. That is why he says and ye shall know the truth and when that truth comes then you are set free.

Of Truth

The Lord has been speaking to me about how Christians understand truth and perhaps why we have been having a big issue in the body of Christ regarding what men define as truth. If the Bible has said that the place of truth is to make a man free, then the life of Christianity is supposed to be a life of freedom because we know truth. That is why when Paul is speaking to Titus, he speaks of a place of how he is a bond servant, called to the elect of God who speaks the truth that must tend to godliness. The true translation is; a truth which leads to godliness; which fosters godliness; which manifests godliness. In other words, the degree of truth you know is the degree to which you manifest God.  If I don’t know truth, I cannot manifest God.

Of things that Must Be Shaken

The bible says; Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain[ Hebrews 12:26-27]

There is a move coming; it is not only going to shake the earth, it will shake the earth and the heavens. Men will preach and the heavens will shake. The bible says that Stephan preached and the heavens opened. He preached and Jesus literally got up.

There was something coming out of him and the heavens could not close; that is what is about to happen. Men are going to speak stuff and heaven will get our attention. It has never been written in the history of the world that the son of man ever left his seat. After he defeated his enemies, he sat down at the right hand of God. However, when one man, Stephen spoke a deep mystery, God said yes! This is it! We are moving into a time where men will minister and God will stand up. There was a time when Amens were only on the earth but the glory we are moving in is going to change things.

The secret of Access

The secret of access is in sight and hearing. The moment I can see and hear in the spirit, there is nothing that can deny me access. What you don’t have, you have not seen and heard. It is not an issue of your grandfather’s devil; it is not the government. What you don’t see happen in your life, you have not seen and heard because the true place of conversion is when men start to see and hear. God cause us to see and hear.

So you ask, must your next job be seen and heard, your marriage be seen and heard in the spirit? Yes. That is why he says, ‘faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word.’ It is not by hearing the word but hearing by the word. Get the word in your spirit! In your soul!

I realized that the reason why we were not having results was because we were shown the wrong things and we heard the wrong things.

Short Cuts

The things that entered our spirits could not convert us because they could not align us to the fourth dimension of time. This is why men cannot understand why certain things happen much quicker for some people and they do not happen for others. It is an issue of quantum physics; there are short cuts in higher dimensions. The world is not flat but curved because every time the heights come in, spaces fold in the higher dimension. He says, one day in the house of the lord is like a thousand in the world. That means that if you spent twenty four hours in the presence of almighty God, you can redeem 2.7 years, that is 1000 days. If you spent another two days, that is 2.7 times two; if you spent another three days, that is 2.7 times three. That means that a man can spend three days in the presence of God and redeem eight years. It is why some men can struggle with anything and one day they see God and that is it. It is only one experience you need in the presence of almighty God that can change your life forever.

Take Jesus for example. He went to the wilderness and he fasted and the bible says that he came back in the power of the Holy Ghost. That was the beginning of the second dimension of his function. Before that, he could not perform any miracle even if he was the son of God; not until he separated himself. That is why you must learn to abide. Hosea 10:12 says you must break your fallow ground. It is time to seek the Lord until he rains down righteousness. We need to see a certain manifestation of God. Those days of praying for two minutes are over. Have you spent twenty four hours praying? If you spend fifteen minutes praying and six hours on TV, you have a big problem. If you speak with your boyfriend up to 3am in the morning and never have time in the presence, you have a big problem. No man can pray in spirit and in truth for twenty four hours and his life remains the same. Shortcuts come when we are in the presence. Strength will come when we wait upon the lord and that strengthening is the quickening of the spirit. The days of not praying have come to an end. We have to wake up and seek God! We have to stop sleeping! We have to break these grounds until God just rains his spirit on us.

The Lord Is That Spirit

2 Corinthians 3:13-17; And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

Of Veils

Because of that veil, every time that Moses is read, men’s eyes are covered. That veil is the place where revelation and understanding are covered because where there is no revelation, there is no redemption. That is why the Bible calls revelation as God’s redemptive power. The power of God to redeem is in the spirit of revelation. If the spirit of revelation is not working in the life of a Christian, he or she cannot see God.

Now, their eyes became blinded every time that Moses was read. But, he says that when the ministration of the spirit came, things changed. When a man enters Jesus Christ, the veils are done away with. There are many veils in church but they are carried on in the name of tradition. Take for example worship. One time I heard a Christian worship and say, come go with me behind the veil, come on and go with me behind the veil because in his presence we will find prevail.’ They have veils. They go into the presence and then come out. Some are even far from the veil. They are in the outer court and sing, ‘as I come into your presence, past the gates of praise….’

The veil is done away in Christ. I have seen that worshippers, even in their preparation, act like they are trying to go behind a certain veil in the presence of God. Who told you to put veils? The Bible says that the veil was rent into two. It means that twenty four seven, you and I have access. Do you realize that when the bible says that ‘and the lord is that spirit and where the spirit of the Lord is there is liberty’ the word used therein for liberty is access? There is license to get everything because where that spirit is, you don’t need to go through veils; you do not need to go through the first level to the second level to access Him. It means that in any form of worship, do not create veils for God.

Moses had a reason to because he did not want the Israelites to see the glory diminishing. When a man covers, it means that there are parts of him that become human and he does not want anyone to see those parts. However for us, that glory resides permanently so we have no reason to cover because there will never be a part of us or time when men look at us like men. We will always look like children of God. In every circumstance, you will have something upon you that will prove that you are more than a man. That is when I realized that men who have not understood grace cannot really have liberty in the spirit because the Lord is that spirit and where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

Liberty to Access

The church is moving to a place where men are going to have experience upon experience, upon experience because the spirit of God gives us liberty to access; the very spirit of liberty gives us the grace to behold God in all dimensions of the spirit. You are not going to see God in one way or in two dimensions but you are going to behold all the dimensions of the spirit. You will function in the earthly time and the heavenly time.  Everything around you is going to start drawing a correlation of someone who is not just earthly but there is something about you that men will look at and say that there is something on this woman that is different from the men that walked the surface of the earth. Now the Lord is that spirit and where the spirit of the Lord is, there is access. You have access.  The Bible says that you received not the spirit of this world but the spirit of God that you may know the things that are freely given unto you by God.  These things that he has given us; he has also given us the access to get them.

The Wisdom From Above

The wisdom of this world has crept into the church unawares. Men do not know this but there are many things that come out of our pulpits but they are the wisdom of the world and not the wisdom of the spirit. There are many things that leave our lunch hours, evening services and overnights but they are not the wisdom of God. They are the wisdom of men.

The Bible says in James 3:17 AMP; But the wisdom from above is first pure [morally and spiritually undefiled], then peace-loving [courteous, considerate], gentle, reasonable [and willing to listen], full of compassion and good fruits. It is unwavering, without [self-righteous] hypocrisy [and self-serving guile].
This wisdom from above is pure. There is a necessity for people to listen to something and it ministers the purity of the spirit; unadulterated. It is life when they receive it. People do not want to feel like what is shared has a certain defilement to it.

Because we have employed in our spirits the wisdom which is of this world, everything that comes as the wisdom of God is too hard for us to interpret because it is not revelation. It is a counter attack. Somebody considers it a threat when truth is spoken. Back in the day, when people heard the truth, they would get on their knees and repent and ask God to help them. Today when the truth is spoken, a man realizes that his ministry is coming to an end. Take for example the preaching of the grace of God to someone who has built a school on the law, a home on the law, educated his children on the law and gone live on radio and television on the law. When you start to preach grace, he will know that the teaching is breaking his ministry. However, God did not call us to build our own ministries. He does the building. He said, ‘on this rock I will build my church.’ When a church is built by men, it will go down. When a church is built by Christ, it is established on a foundation, a solid rock.

Of the things freely given
The Bible says that you have not received the spirit of this world. The spirit of this world tells you that you don’t have and that you lack. The Bible says that you have received the spirit of God that you might know the things that have been freely given unto you. People should not go to church to get a car. They should go to know what they have been freely given.

Imagine! The beginning of the gospel is supposed to be a man coming to know what he has in God. But today, the wisdom of this world is teaching men the things they do not have and the things they must do to get those things. As a result, men are doing everything they need to do to get these things. There is nothing they have not done in the book; they are still not receiving because they are at a place where the things that are supposed to be free, are thought to be priced and that is why when they get to the things that are really of price, they do not know the difference. There are those things that they must really pursue. However, they do not know the difference because they have been taught to pursue the things they are not supposed to pursue because they think that they are not free.

We are not hungering for the things of the spirit. We are hungering for the things that are carnal and end with their use. Men do not lock themselves up in their rooms to say ‘God deal with me.’

We are like prostitutes, and are playing whoredom with God. All we say is, ‘I want. I want. I want. I want. More Lord. More Lord. Add me more.’ Christians are hoarding and hoarding many things, even stuff that they will never use. They are waxing fat. They are about to kick.

We want to raise a generation where a man can say, ‘okay, I might not have a job, true, but I want God.’ A certain musician sung a song and said, ‘I know you want something from God but I advise you to seek him. You will get those things’. The Lord told me that is not the right way because it means that a man is going to go to God to seek him such that he gets those things. It means that there is a certain lust. They ask and receive not because they want to consume it upon their own lust, the Bible says.

If you have not had the fullest revelation of what is free, you can never really start to seek God because the true beginning of seeking God is the revelation of the things that are free.
