The Mystery of His Will

[Ephesians 1:9]; Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself.

You Know

I often hear Christians say, ‘let us seek God for his will’. No, he has made known to you his will. So you might ask, ‘how do I know that she is my wife?’ You know. In fact, when you ask most married people how they knew that he/she was the one, they always say,’ I just knew.’ You just know. When you get to that job or piece of land and it is yours, you will know; you know what is yours. You are not believing to know God’s will; he has made it known to you by Sophia. How can you not know what to do? You know.

Sometimes there are men who want you to think that you do not know what you are doing. No. I know what I am doing. It is not pride; I know! I know where I am going. Que sera sera whatever will be, will be was a nursery rhyme. We are past the level of nursery school children. I know what I will be because he made known unto us the mystery of his will.

If somebody asks me, ‘how do you know?’ The answer is simple. The Bible says in Philippians 4:8-9 MSG; Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.

Act like It

God is working me! When I was in my second year of campus, I meditated Phaneroo. I used to see the people gathering by the thousands. In my first days of preaching, I used to tell the congregation to greet those in America that are listening to us. I could tell the choir, ‘sing for me this song’, and to the pianist, ‘turn up the volume of the piano.’

Sit in a mobile money kiosk like you are seated in a super market. Count thirty thousand shillings like you are counting dollars. When your grandmother says that you will never get married, on that very day, buy a gown and high heels and model about. Whatsoever things are lovely, think on these things. That is why the bible says, if you are serious about living this new resurrection life in Christ, act like it.  You will see how God will answer you; he will work you into his most excellent harmony.

I used to speak to mirrors.  I would look at my reflection and thank myself for preaching the gospel, and then say, ‘glory to God.’ I used to tell myself that I am the deepest preacher on earth. That vacuum is big enough for all of us.

What are you thinking? I think you are a success; I think you are blessed; I think you are big; I think you are anointed; I think you are multiplying; I think you cannot be slowed down; I think of you as restored.

I decree it upon your life; that you know the will of God concerning your life; that you think only good things; the perfect and the best; no curse; only blessing; your children are going to shake this world; they shall be for signs; they shall be for wonders; they shall be potents; in every nation you will step, you will be another story; in every district you will go, you will be above and not beneath; you are a head and not a tail; you can do all things by Christ who strengthens you; great is he that is in you than the devil in the world; the lines have fallen unto you in pleasant places, you have a goodly heritage, you cannot fail; your end is of the lord. There are people who said, think and assume that your end is of men but I decree upon your life that you are about to disprove them; you are about to surprise them; in the name of Jesus.

The Revelations of the Christ

[Acts; 26:14-16]; And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;

Of witnesses and Ministers

You can be a witness but not a minister.  You can say that you witnessed the Lord healing and can testify that he is a healer but not be able to heal. You may not be able to open deaf ears or blind eyes or cast out cancer out of a body but are a witness of certain things that certain men have done and you can attest to these things and say that you saw people get healed on Saturday.

You can be both a witness and a minister but you can be a witness and not a minister. It is possible for someone to be a witness of something they cannot minister. The  lord Jesus Christ has not intended to appear to a man that he might be a witness only; that he saw the lord on the third or forth day.

God revealed himself to Paul for two reasons; one that he might be both a minister and a witness of those things which the bible says he had seen and of those things in which he would appear unto him. That now changes the mind of the way God operates.

Christians do not understand that the pendulum swings from the things we see regarding the Christ to the things in which he appears.

Our place of ministry is not only to minister what we have witnessed. Some people only minister in the witness dispensation. I saw them heal a sick man and am going to heal a sick man but you see, the bible says, there are things in which the Christ will appear; those things will not be Christ but he will use them to appear and therein is a message to the Christian and in those very things he says that they are both ministry and witness. God has not called us to be on one side of the pendulum; to testify of the things that we have seen of the Christ but also to testify of those things in which he appears to us. Jesus is not only going to appear to you in the body.

Of Revelations Beyond the Body

Every child of God requires experiences but there is a place where the ultimate experience of God is his word. The word of God is our ultimate experience. When we experience the word of God, then you will understand that the word is God. Some people want to have extra ordinary experiences before they know that the lord appeared to them. They want for everything about the story to begin this way; ‘while I was seated in my room, a gust of wind blew through the windows and the curtains started to flap. Then an angel of the lord came in and said in a deep voice “Robert I am calling you into ministry.” And then Brethren, did I know that I was called of the Lord.’

What if he does not appear? The bible says in 1 Peter 1:8 that whom having not seen, ye love. There are people who have not had Jesus appear to them. That should never disqualify you from the working of the power God and his spirit. I have seen places where the Christ might not appear to you but he might appear in things to you. If you carry this knowledge, your life changes.

The biggest problem with us is that we always expect that the Lord will always appear to us in the body, that we will have that supernatural experience that oral Roberts, Kathryn kuhlman or Benny Hinn talked about and that if you do not have that experience then you will not see God.  Some of you even become jealous and ask, ‘how can God appear to another yet I have sought him for seventy years?’ It is because for long you have overlooked and forgotten the fact that he can appear to you in certain things.

That is why when he was explaining himself to individuals, there is a place where he expounded about himself from Moses.  All the disciples of Jesus Christ knew Jesus but they never knew the Christ.  The Christ can appear to you and you will still not know him; not every man to whom the Christ appears has had everything about his life change. I know of men in Church history to whom the Christ himself appeared but they died very miserable men, having lived sad, disadvantaged and pathetic lives. A man can have the Christ appear to him and give him divine instructions and tomorrow that man will walk away from those very instructions. Jesus appearing to you does not mean that you carry a particular qualification of maturity.

Iron Sharpens Iron

[Proverbs 27:17]; Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

Of Pride

Many men are caught up in meats, sacrifices and what they are doing every day to attain a God who is more eager to have them before they even fast. Unfortunately, they cannot yield. That is the place of pride. That pride is the very reason why we are not growing in the church of Christ today because a man would rather go to a prayer mountain to seek God for something he can get from another man’s hands. Iron sharpens iron. Why are you going to a prayer mountain when a man has what you need?

Some people ignore the power of words in changing the lives of men. In Job 16:5, he says; but I would strengthen you with my mouth, and the moving of my lips should asswage your grief.

These words we speak are not small; they are spirit and they are life. In romans 11:14, Paul says, If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.

There is a place where God ministers to Paul in a particular way because he knows that if he draws certain imitations, he will save men, so he tells the church, ‘imitate me even as I imitate Christ.’ Timothy will be too stupid to refuse to imitate a man walking with God and go to a prayer mountain to get the very substance; that is pride.

It is like a man who sees Jesus walk on the surface of this earth and says ‘no, I do not want your salvation, let me go to a prayer mountain and get my own.’ Whether you want it or not, you do not need a man to get to God; you do not need any man to grow in the anointing; you don’t need any man to change anything; you don’t need any man to see God; you don’t need any man to become a success but God needs a man.

Even Jesus who was God himself realized that if he did not take on the form of a man, he would not win the souls of men; even God needs a man; you do not need a man but God does.

God Needs Men for You

Whether you are talking about revival it is God using men; whether you are talking about delivering nations, the bible says that he delivered a nation by a prophet; whether you are talking about delivering cities, he delivers them by the hand of a man.

There are always leaders in every generation; people that God has set before us. Personally, when I meet a man who has what I want, I believe I have gotten it. All I need to do is keep the fig tree and be available for the master.

The subsequent verse of the reference scripture says; Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he that waiteth on his master shall be honoured [Proverbs 27:18].

I just need to wait on the master; serve him if I have to, do everything I must to get what he has because God needs men. I do not need them. Paul was anointed, do not be deceived- he was given the grace to lay the foundation of the gospel, but God paired him with Barnabas and Barnabas initially had the pre-eminence. Paul was still a baby in the spirit. He did not know the order of the spirit but he was still anointed.

In Acts 13:1-2, the scriptures say,  Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

According to the spirit, Paul was not yet even translated. He was still Saul. However, that is where many miss it because one has had experiences in Damascus, and in Arabia or has a certain anointing upon his life. To God, he is not yet converted. He is still Saul. The spirit does not say separate me Paul and Barnabas, he says separate me Barnabas and Paul. To God, Barnabas is still ahead of him.

There is a place in the scriptures where Saul transitions into Paul. It is not at his conversion. The proclamation that imputes the righteousness of that name could have taken place before but the real experience of Saul becoming Paul happened in a different place. Read the scriptures. It is after they had laid hands on him to separate him for the work. Saul cannot claim that he was given the grace to lay the foundation of the gospel and that when he was separated by God, nobody was present and so he did not need any man.

In this life, there are men that God needs for you. You do not need them but God needs them for you. Some might be above you. Some might be at your level but God needs them for you. Do you remember David’s experience in I Samuel 23:15-17?

The bible says and David saw that Saul was come out to seek his life: and David was in the wilderness of Ziph in a wood. And Jonathan Saul’s son arose, and went to David into the wood, and strengthened his hand in God. And he said unto him, Fear not: for the hand of Saul my father shall not find thee; and thou shalt be king over Israel, and I shall be next unto thee; and that also Saul my father knoweth.

Even if David was anointed to be king, he needed a certain man to strengthen his hand in God. He is king, yes, but God needed a certain man to strengthen David in the Lord.

Of Fathering

Do you know what is killing Uganda? We are orphaned. We have people they call fathers but they are just called that; they are only fathers in name.

The Bible in Galatians 6:1 says, Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye who are spiritual restore such a one in the spirit of meekness, considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

Does it say criticize, talk about them on radio or go to every church warning others about them? No, it says restore.

Ask the young men in this nation who are criticized for preaching a wrong gospel; whether any father has ever reached out to them. Do you think they do not want to be fathered? They want to. Some people think that fathering is about having lived a long life or growing old and having grey hair.  Even the boys that have been raised do not know how to be fathers because they were not fathered; they ran out as prodigals.  They first have to break off from their senior pastors and leave with a rebellious spirit and start their own ministries. They want to reap what they did not sow.

Read church history; read about every general that was not accountable; none finished well; you will not be the first one. You claim to be submitted to the Holy Spirit, okay, but God needs certain people for you.

Look at Elisha. He wanted something from Elijah. Elijah told him, ‘if you see me go.’ He did not tell him to fast for forty days. He only said, ‘if you see me go.’ For the same reason, God could not speak to Samuel with a voice that was different from that of Eli even though the man was fallen. He had to speak like Eli.

It is pride to refuse a sharpening. I used to ask God, ‘why do some men resist it?’ I realized that some men are not iron. They are honing stones; some of them can sharpen but they are not sharp.  Some cannot be sharpened because every time iron gets on them, iron appears to be cutting them because they are wood!

The Glorious Stars

[Luke 16:8]; And his master commended the unjust manager [not for his misdeeds, but] because he had acted shrewdly [by preparing for his future unemployment]; for the sons of this age [the non-believers] are shrewder in relation to their own kind [that is, to the ways of the secular world] than are the sons of light [the believers].

The men of this world are shrewder, wiser and more prudent than the sons of light.

Of Stars

In Jeremiah 31:35; the bible says;

Thus saith the Lord, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The Lord of hosts is his name.

The bible here defines the moon and the stars in the distinct line of ordinances. In other words, the moon and the stars are for the purpose of a message.

In Genesis 1:14, it says; And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years. There are firmaments in the sky, created by Jehovah God for signs, seasons, days and years.

In Jeremiah 31:35, he spoke of the moon and the stars carrying particular ordinances. Ordinances are laws; a particular set of rules. When you see a star in the sky, it is not just a star, it carries a particular rule. When you see the moon, it is not just the moon, it carries a particular rule. God did not create lights in the sky just for glory only but he has another intention. When he creates them, he says that they are for signs, seasons, days and years. In other words, you can have signs by those lights in the heavens, you can interpret seasons, days and years by those things in the heavens.

However, the children of this world have become wiser than those of the light. You might know the difference between astronomy and astrology. The mind of astronomy is to study everything up there; the heavenly bodies. However, astrology is the science that the men of this world invented to attach what happens in the sky to the lives of individuals in what is usually called horoscopes. They can connect your date of birth with whatever is happening in the sky and then determine what is happening in your life. Some people who read horoscopes realize that many times, they were factual. They are using spiritual states of things but in an ungodly way.

There is a certain understanding that God wants us to have as children of God but he does not necessarily want us to read horoscopes. But these guys are using spiritual principles. Did you know that the composition of the zodiac has a division of 12 segments? The number twelve represents divine government. They are not random. That has a spiritual significance. They can read the sky and know that in this season something is about to happen.

Of Our Place of Warfare

Judges 5:19-20 reads; The kings came and fought, then fought the kings of Canaan in Taanach by the waters of Megiddo; they took no gain of money. They fought from heaven; the stars in their courses fought against Sisera.

When you read the book of judges you realize that sisera was killed in the spirit before he was killed physically. It means that there is a time frame between when a man is killed spiritually and when he is destroyed physically. Some people are already dead physically. The battle up there was finished and all that is awaited is a manifestation of what has been done.

We wage war not against flesh and blood. Everything you see physically has a spiritual representation; now do we discover in the gospel that while men were fighting physically, some men took the war up there to the heavenly places that the stars in their courses fought against sisera. Much as there was a physical fight, there was a spiritual representation of the same. Even sisera was represented in the spiritual realm.

This means that before you sort a man physically, you must sort him spiritually. If you cannot sort him up there, you cannot sort him down here.

The church should grow to understand that our battles cannot be only physical. You might find people that seem insane but the truth is that there is something happening up there.

You might put all kinds of security systems and have all kinds of dogs in your house but until you walk around your house and speak in tongues, you will not change a thing.

I realized that when things happen up there, Christians do not know. The other day, I saw a documentary of the tsunami. Two days before the tsunami, animals went up the hills and mountains, but Christians remained in the valleys speaking in tongues. If God has gotten to the level of warning animals but Christians cannot heed, I realized that there was something wrong with these stars. How sensitive are the stars? How represented are they in their generation?

You are not supposed to live a life of idly waiting upon God with the vain hope that maybe he will eventually deliver you. No, you are supposed to know your time. The bible says that teach us to number our days that we might apply our hearts unto your wisdom. There is a wisdom that must come to your hearts to know that now, you are behind schedule when it comes to marriage, financially, or as regards your job. You are supposed to feel it the day you get promoted; you should know it. The moment you look at your profession and calculate and see that you are behind schedule, you go up where the maths is done and then seek heavenly counsel. By the time you come back on the earth, you will be doing everything right to arrest your moment.

Your Time to Shine

While I was praying, I heard the voice of the Lord say, ‘I am about to make certain stars shine.’

As sure as day light, I started seeing some glowing stars becoming brighter and brighter. As they got brighter, I saw some people get married, some getting promoted, some getting businesses, some walking into certain things and some people leaving some things.

I asked God, ‘what are you telling us?’ He replied and said, ‘This is the season. The heavens and the angels are waging war for your sake.’

There is war and I see God fight on your behalf.  . You must shine as a star. I see God making you shine. He says the path of the just shines brighter and brighter unto a perfect day.

‘This year,’ thus says the Lord,’ something is changing about your marriage, your finances, your children, your business.’

If you have been having a prolonged life of disease, God says that he is causing you to shine above it, above poverty and above rejection.

IT IS TIME FOR YOU TO SHINE. I heard it very clearly.  This is a season to make men shine. Arise and shine. Let your light shine in the world.

The Man From Above

I think that one of the most misunderstood concepts in this life is salvation. It is not healing or anything else but rather, salvation.  People know all about healing and many other things but the reason why they cannot connect them together and get results is because they missed out on the ultimate thing called salvation.  If you understand the concept of salvation, your life cannot stay the same.

What it means to be Born Again

John 1:12-13 AMP says;

But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the right [the authority, the privilege] to become children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name— who were born, not of blood [natural conception], nor of the will of the flesh [physical impulse], nor of the will of man [that of a natural father], but of God [that is, a divine and supernatural birth—they are born of God—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified].

How can you have cancer? How can you have HIV? How can the doctor say you have Hyper Tension and then you get onto medication? The Bible calls them that are born of God. He personally begat them.

It goes on to say;

And the Word (Christ) became flesh, and lived among us; and we [actually] saw His glory, glory as belongs to the [One and] only begotten Son of the Father, [the Son who is truly unique, the only One of His kind, who is] full of grace and truth (absolutely free of deception).

Young’s Literal Translation says; and the Word became flesh, and did tabernacle among us, and we beheld his glory, glory as of an only begotten of a father, full of grace and truth.

When the bible says that he became flesh, and did tabernacle among us, fixed his tent of flesh on earth, it means that he got a body and entered it. However, his coming out of a woman was not the beginning of his story. The beginning of Jesus’ story was not when he entered Mary’s womb. His beginning was more eternal. The decision to enter the body was the day she was impregnated but it did not mean that he did not pre-exist. He was the rock from which they drunk [1 Corinthians 10:4]. He pre-existed. In the beginning, he was the light that shone in darkness and darkness comprehended him not. Even though he became flesh, he pre-existed.

Some people think that when you get Born Again, you change and become a better person. You stop cheating and lying and so they say that this man is Born Again. If you understand the Bible you will realize that those are works.

Let me explain something that religious people have failed to understand. I have learnt that some people are not truly Born Again.

The Man from Above

John 3:3 says; Jesus answered and said unto him, verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

The Greek word for kingdom is realm. The amplified rendering is; Jesus answered him, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless a person is born again [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, sanctified], he cannot[ever] see and experience the kingdom of God.”

Salvation is not when you changed on the earth. Salvation is when a new man from above entered you. The old man had to die to give way to the second. It is why the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 15:46 that howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. Before you were born again, you were a natural man. There is nothing spiritual about the second man.

You are the lord from heaven. You come with the spirit of lordship. Except a man be born from above, that man cannot experience the realm because the realm is supposed to be an experience. Salvation is supposed to be an experience.  You are from above.

In Genesis 1:26-27 he says; And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

However, this individual that was created did not come. In Genesis 2:7, it says, And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

The bible says that that man became a living soul. He was not a spirit. God did not carry the Genesis 1:26 spirit and put him into the Genesis 2:7 man. For, the man in Genesis 2:7, he simply breathed into him the breath of life and he became a living soul. Now the book of Corinthians says that the first man in 2:7 was natural but the second man, he in 1:26, which is Christ, was spiritual. That man who you were before you were born again was just a living soul. He was not a living spirit.

God is not a soul. He is a spirit. The bible says that he created them in his image and likeness. That means that they were spirit but they were held in heaven, waiting. The first man who is Jesus said, let me give you a sample and he came into the body, healed the sick, cast out devils, did all these kinds of things and said, ‘it is for your good that I go. Why? Because I have just shown you a sample.’

But many claim, ‘Jesus, we are comfortable with doing what you did’ and he says, ‘no, you do not get it. These things that I have done, you shall do more because I go to the father.’ The superstar returned above and the moment he reached heaven, he said ‘Apostle Grace, go down on earth and show them.’ I came the day I got Born Again. The moment I entered the tabernacle, the angels told me, ‘welcome to the world of men.’ I am not ordinary. I am from above.

Have you ever heard of microscopes, hospitals, the lame or influenza in heaven? That nonsense is not there.

There is a reason why Jesus never fell sick. He could be crucified and suffer all that pain but there is a reason he did not fall sick. When it came to sickness, he told God ‘papa am not that humble.’ It is humility. The bible says that he humbled himself and took on the form of a man. It is humility to be human. That is why he asked Nicodemus, why do you marvel when I say that I am from above?  The day you start to be normal and desire to live a predictable life in salvation, trust me that day, you will die. Spiritual death is a place where a man wants to be normal.

You are Christ on Earth

Galatians 3:16 says; Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

What this means is that if I say seeds, I mean descendants of Abraham but if I say seed, I mean one which is Christ.

Galatians 3:29 further says; And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

The Message Bible says in Galatians 3:16 that now, the promises were made to Abraham and to his descendant. You will observe that Scripture, in the careful language of a legal document, does not say “to descendants,” referring to everybody in general, but “to your descendant” (the noun, note, is singular), referring to Christ.

The 29th verse says also, since you are Christ’s family, then you are Abraham’s famous “descendant,” heirs according to the covenant promises.

I told people that Moses preached the law enough and he became the law. 2 Corinthians 3:15 says that every time Moses is read. It does not say every time the law is read.

The devil entered the serpent enough until revelation referred to him as that serpent. He was not originally the serpent but he entered, ‘tabernacled’ in the serpent and revelation calls him that serpent. In fact, when you dream about a snake, you know that that is the devil, you do not say that that is an angel. If a snake can become the devil and the law can become Moses, how about you child of God? Didn’t you become Christ?

Some people claim that we are the body and we are not the head, Christ. In grammar, if I punched your chest and you fell down, they would not say that I punched the chest of the head. They would say that I punched a man.

When Paul was persecuting the church, Christ did not tell him, Paul, why are you persecuting my body? Rather he told him, why are you persecuting me? [Acts 9:4]. He did not say why do you persecute my body which is connected to the head which is Christ? When you touch a Christian, you touch Christ. When you attack a Christian you attack Christ. When you bite a Christian you bite Christ.

You are from above. When you ‘taberbacled’ into this earthly body, something about you changed. That is why we move in another realm, why I can know things before they happen. I am from above. I live in a realm that is much faster than the devil. The Bible says that the spirit quickeneth but the flesh profiteth nothing. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.

You are from above. Speak to any circumstance in your life like you are from above. Speak to every situation like you are from above. You will experience the realm. Speak to your family, marriage, body, business, ministry and everything around you. Speak like you are a woman from above. The world is in trouble because of you. You are changing this world; you are changing Africa; you are changing   Asia; you are changing Europe, television, media and the military. You are full of God. You are full of the Holy Ghost. You are full of Jesus. He loves you. He cares for you. He is there for you. He intercedes for you. You will not fail in this life. No devil can stop you. Nothing can stop you. Nothing can stop a people who pray. Nothing can stop a people who know their God. Nothing can stop a people who know who they are in Christ. If God be for you then who can be against you?  Greater is He that is in you than the devil in the world. Enough is enough. You cannot fail. Weakness is far from you. Sickness is far from you. Witchcraft is far from you. You are an influence. You are a force. Jesus is with you. He says for ‘lo I am with you until the end.’ You are the man from above.

Understanding Your Fold

[Luke 8:8]; And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bear fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

The Abundant Life.

When Mark speaks of thirty fold and Matthew speaks of sixty fold, Luke does not tell us thirty fold or sixty fold. Many Christians say that they shall produce thirty fold or sixty fold. There is something wrong with that because Luke does not speak of a thirty or sixty fold but he brings us to a hundred fold.  No mediocrity.

There are Christians who only want to be above average. Even when they go to class, they look for their results from downwards. When they reach the middle, they say, no, I did not check properly. When he gets to the top ten, he returns to the bottom of the list and tells himself that he needs to check more diligently.

When he gets to a hotel and asks for the menu, he does not look at the foods but rather at the price.  He asks, how much is chicken? What about meat? When he realizes the prices are high he says, ‘give me gonja.’ That’s not who we are!

Christians have lived a mediocre life, one barely above average, because they did not understand the scriptures. When Luke carries the understanding of the fold, he does not give thirty fold but talks of a hundred fold.

Why do you have a problem with abundance, child of God? There are people that are not comfortable with abundance. They claim that they do not want a lot of money that could cause them to forget God but they also do not want less that will put them under covetousness.

The Bible says that Abraham was rich in gold, cattle and silver. This is our father. The ministry of a son is that he must be greater than his father. That is when you prove that you draw from the father. Some claim the scripture that the love of money is the root of all evil. There is nothing wrong with money. The issue is the love and passion for money.  God says that silver and gold belong to him. The devil has no money. Money is not of the devil.

It is a Place of Understanding

It is a place of understanding. You can carry the life of abundance God has for you. He said that I have come that you might have life and that you might have life in abundance. Abundance is our calling. A hundred fold is your portion.

What happened to Luke? The Bible says in Luke 1:3 that Luke carried a perfect understanding. You can carry a perfection of the understanding of who you are by the seed that the fowls of the air cannot locate you.

Paul says that when I was a child, I spoke as a child, understood as a child and thought as a child. That is the breastmilk level.

Christians have lived on milk for so long. But listen child of God, milk cannot intoxicate you. At the milk level, the fowls of the air will find you, AIDS will kill you, and cancer will kill you. But there is a place where you are so intoxicated that HIV AIDS becomes Vitamin C.

We have fed Christians with milk for so long. We are still teaching the doctrine of baptism which the bible says is elementary. Jesus said that we shall lay hands on the sick and they shall be healed, but the apostle Paul comes after Jesus and says that the laying on of hands is elementary. This thing can come without the laying on of hands. The Apostle Paul is coming after Jesus with revelation. He has a revelation that Jesus said greater works shall you do.

If we are still on the elementary, we shall have unskillful men in the word of righteousness because they do not carry the understanding of the things that they have received because they have been fed with milk. Milk will not intoxicate you. The mind of the spirit is that you might drink the word.

Of the Baptism of the Spirit

The scriptures say be ye not drunk with wine but be ye filled with the Holy Ghost. In Acts 19:1-3, we read an account of Paul. It says, And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John’s baptism.

It means that there was another preacher that came to these men. He had another Jesus, another gospel and another spirit. The spirit he had was one that could not speak in tongues.

If we fail to bring men to the experience of what we have experienced then we have failed in our ministry because able ministers are able ministers not according to the letter but according to the spirit and the place of the spirit is the place of experiences. Christianity is an experience.

Unto what then were you baptized? Baptism means that we have been stained and overwhelmed by a nature of our baptism. We are drunk. We are crazy. We are overwhelmed because we were baptized into the Holy Ghost.

A Path Unreached

The mystery of understanding who you are is simple.  Then you will understand that as a seed, no foul of the air can eat you up.

My assurance as the seed that is sown by God is simple. If I am sown, even in the high way, the fowl cannot find me because Job 28:7-8; says, there is a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture’s eye hath not seen: The lion’s whelps have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it.

There is a ministry, a job and a marriage that no demon can destroy because they are sown in a path that no devil can reach. There is a place where the devil cannot attack you, a place where cancer cannot kill you, a place where no man can uproot you.

Revelation

[Romans 1:1-5]; Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,(Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,) Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:  By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

Of the Grace Received

I want to describe the kind of grace that you have. The grace message is the oldest message but there has been a total delusion in the body of Christ pertaining the grace.

When you talk about grace, we are talking about a life that starts from the spirit of holiness. When you say you are born again, you cannot talk about ‘sinner’ in the same context.

When he speaks of Jesus Christ by whom you have received grace, understand that you are not about to receive grace but rather that you have already received it. This grace is the divine influence of God in the human spirit, meaning that everything that you are is of God. This grace that you received was for the purpose of bringing all nations to obedience.

Many people claim that we ought to be careful where this grace is concerned, that we ought to maintain some kind of balance. What are you balancing? Instead of bringing nations to the obedience of Christ, some people are trying to balance the grace. I realized then that the grace of God is a revelation. Even Paul says this; that the gospel he preached was not taught to him by man but that it was revealed to him by the Holy Ghost [Galatians 1:11-12]. Until Christ is revealed to you, you cannot walk in this grace.

The problem we have is that most men want to understand the grace of God mentally. When the bible says that Noah found grace in the eyes of God, a Christian who perceives these mentally will think that Noah was having a walk and then stumbled on grace. No. That is not it. The scriptures say that he found grace in the eyes of the lord. It means that the Lord looked at Noah and saw grace. Grace was God’s vision of Noah. It was not about Noah looking for God but rather Noah was God’s vision. Noah was a revelation of God.

Today, we find people seeking for a God who seems to be hiding yet they are the very revelation of God. The Bible says that his eyes are on the righteous. You are God’s vision.

The Redemptive Power of Revelation

[Proverbs 19:18]; where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

The Bible says that where there is no vision, the people perish. People are actually failing because they do not have vision. Another version says that men cast off restraint. It means that when the Christ is revealed, you do not tell a man to move here or there.

God cannot be revealed to you and you remain the same because revelation is redemptive by nature. Revelation is a spirit by which we minister and the more Christ is revealed unto you, the more you minister  Because it is redemptive power, when you have revelation, you don’t have to give men laws, ‘do this or do that.’ Give them Christ. That is what makes revelation paramount to us in the body of Christ. This revelation is a place in God that he has given to us freely. This spirit of revelation is the connecting line between logos and rhema. Once the logos is revealed, you start to hear rhema naturally.

How is revelation redemptive? Romans 3:24; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

This redemption is in Christ Jesus. What is redemption? The Greek word used therein points to the release effected by the payment of a ransom. It means that there is a release as regards one’s life because a ransom was paid.

When you are in Christ, you are free, you are released and you are delivered. There is release and redemption, because one man died. It means that it is no longer legal for a man to be sick in this dispensation.

The Place of Humility

The Lord told me that the only thing required in our time is that this Christ ought to be revealed.

The Bible says that Jesus found it not robbery to be equal with God [Philippians 2:6]. The true place of humility is knowing that you are God in the flesh. Pride is when men look like men. Humility is when men carry the true picture of God.

God has promised that he can become real to you. He is no longer a mystery. The true revelation of Christ is when a man realizes that he and God are inseparable, God’s experience is his experience, God’s life is his life, and God’s heartbeat is his heart beat. At that place, the word of God becomes a personal thing. That is why when he speaks of Mary, he says that what she had received could never be taken away from her.

Until you come to a certain knowledge, there are some things that you will never see. Christ is an experience of the flesh. He is real to us. You cannot know this and remain the same. You cannot know this and not have impact.

The Increase Of Knowledge

Of the Increase of Knowledge.
There are prophesies that have been spoken regarding the church. For example, wars and rumours of war to signify the end times, prophesies of pestilences and disease, of iniquity abounding, of the Son of Perditon exposed and of the love of many waxing cold because iniquity abounds. There are many things spoken of as regards the last days but one thing that catches my spirit is the fact that he said that in the last days, knowledge shall increase [Daniel 12:4].

Thus, regardless of all the prophesies made about the church, the fact that knowledge shall increase is one thing that the church has to embrace. With all this increase of knowledge also comes the ultimate issue. He says that we should not desire to be teachers because with that comes a weightier judgment. To whom much is given, much is required.

The lord has been speaking to me of the weight of responsibility that the church is to have by reason of the knowledge that is being distributed to us in these last days. Sometimes, it has brought me to tears because we are still too far. We have made lame men walk, raised the dead and done great things. We have prophesied but all these have been done before.  All the gifts  that we carry have happened before.

Sometimes, stagnation is not when somebody is not moving ahead. Rather, it is when someone keeps doing the same thing that existed before. Every revival has healing and the five fold ministry and that is wonderful, but what is making the church stagnant is when you look at something done in the church today and realise that it existed in 1932, that it happpened previously under a certain man’s hand. That is stagnation.

The bible says that eye has not see, ear has not heard, it has not entered the hearts of man what the Lord has prepared for us but God has revealed them unto us because the spirit searches the deep things of God [ 1 Corinthians 2:9-10].

Paul is clear in the book of Titus. If it is truth, it ought to tend to a certain level of godliness[Titus 1:1]. As knowledge increases,  there has to  be a  manifestation that is working with us because we know. But how can we deem to know what does not carry results? What is knowledge if it does not carry results? Revelation is redemptive power. If God has to reveal certain things, it means that he gives us a particular glory and power to move in a  certain dimension. That is why its not registered that christ healed by a shadow even if he could have but rather by the hem of his garment. He knows that there is a  glory to glory principle by which Peter will heal by a shadow, Paul will heal by a hankie and you and I will heal by a different dimension.

Healing by a shadow is okay but it is not supposed to be a testimony for the church; that is stagnation. It is not wrong to do miracles and all these things but what we ought to ask ourselves is; are we stagnant or are we moving forward?

Of the Latter Glory

Once, as I flipped through television channels, I watched a magician say that he was going to do something that was going to be talked about in that city forever. He stood on a building several stories high and walked downwards as though he was on a horizontal surface. If a magician can do that, how about me? Christians cannot even walk on water yet we claim that there is revival in our land. It is not that the magician is supposed to teach me God. But what power can the magician have  versus the power that the child of God has?How can you walk to such a man and tell him that Jesus loves him? What sort of gospel can convince him to come to Christ?

When the Bible says that knowledge shall increase, isn’t there supposed to be an expectation that the glory must increase? Christ speaks of coming for a gloriuous Church, one without spot or wrinkle. Many people quote the portion of ‘without spot or wrinkle’ but they do not quote the bit of glorious. He did not say a sinless Church. He knows that sinlessness is part of it but it is not the whole picture. He wants to present a glorious Church without spot or wrinkle. He has weighed the places of offence. Sometimes the places of offence are not when a man steals and lies but when men cannot judge with knowledge and so they cannot examine the things that are most excellent.

When the lord shares a place of knowledge increasing and the Church has to adopt,  my fear is the place of stagnation as a Church  yet we think we are moving ahead. Indeed, in every generation there is a healing,  prophetic, evangelistic and pastoral arm. However, sometimes all that is God continuing his work for his name’s sake and not necessarily the adoptation and mutation of the Church into a certain picture of increase and progress.

The Bible says that the glory of the latter chruch shall be greater than the glory of the former. Do you realise that he is speaking of a very big pricture as regards the glory that we are supposed to be having?

Of the Phillip Experience

Let me give you an example, that of Philip. Philip lived at the time of the beginning of the early Church.  That was a time when knowledge was not as it is now. If knowledge increases in the last days, we are supposed to know more than Philip. An angel spoke to Philip, he preached to the Ethiopian eunuch and when he was done, the scriptures say that the spirit of the Lord carried him. He was caught by the spirit and he was found in Azotus[Acts 8:26-40].

If God had said that he found himself in Azotus, it would have meant that it was a shock to Philip but the truth is that what happened  was not a shock to philip. It was a shock to them who found him in Azotus. Philip had a certain relationship with God by which it was not a miracle that he was caught up. That is why the Bible does not say that  when he was found in Azotus, he testified about it but rather, the Bible says that he continued to preach in all the cities. Disappear form one place and appear in aother. You don’t even have to tell them that you diasppeared and appeared in another place. You just continue peaching like nothing happened.

God uses the language ‘found in Azotus’ and not him ‘finding himself in Azotus’. It means that from the onset, that morning, when God told him to preach to the eunuch, the spirit of the Lord had already ministered to Philip the entire day’s program. He knew that at midday he would preach the gospel to the eunuch and then go to Azotus and continue with his preaching.  Today, the highest level I have known men to experience of this is when they say that they are caught up in the spirit.

I have had spiritual experiences. I have been carried by the spirit and attended meetings, but now, I want more. I do not want to be caught up in the spirit. I want to finish Phaneroo, disappear, appear in Amseterdam, preach the gospel in Amsterdam, be caught up and be found in Newyork City, preach the gospel in Manhattan and be caught up and found in Libya Tripoli then come back to Kampala for dinner like nothing happened. God help us. If we cannot do these things then there is something wrong.

He Bloweth the Flesh Away

1 Peter 1:23-25 says; Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

He was speaking of being born by an incorruptible seed. Some people  think that being incoruptible entails only not  sinning. That is just part of it. However, incorruptible means that you cannot be corrupted.

The adamic nature is already corruptible. The place of corruptibility is its limitation in functioning in the spirit realm. You can never speak of corruption without defining the transcendence of the other world. Corruption is not what you see here on the earth. Corruption is primarily what is spiritual.

In that scripture, Peter was actually quoting Isaiah.  In Isaiah 40:6-7, it says;

The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field: The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the Lord bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.

In other words, the essence of the Holy Ghost is to blow away the flesh and its glory. The word of God is spirit and truth. As knowledge comes to the Church, it is blowing flesh away, the terrestial body is becoming celestial. As a result, men are walking through walls and trees because every time the word comes in, it is blowing away the flesh and its glory.

What in a man is glory? This is anything that you know can be accomplished by man. That is what the spirit of God is blowing away such that when men look at us, they will realise that we are more than mere men. It is one thing when people call us men of God but it is another if they don’t know anymore whether we are men or spirits.

The Bible speaks of how Christ appeared to the disciples in a room which was locked. The same Bible says that this is love made perfect that we might have confidence on that day that as he is so are we in this world [1 John 4:17]. Which is that day of judgment? It is that day when I need to pass through a wall; on that day when I need to pass through a tree; on that day when I need to disappear from Uganda and appear in Rwanda. It says,  as he is, not as he was. God is not calling the church to do the things that Jesus did. God is calling the church to do the things that Jesus is doing. This is a present continuous experience.

The only thing that takes away the glory of the man is the spirit of the Lord. The next line says that the word liveth and abideth forever. This is what God is doing. By his spirit, he is blowing away our flesh and perfecting the manifestation of the word  in us that in the end, men will not say that that over there is Pastor Nickson  but they will say that that is the word.

Who Hath Believed Our Report?

[Phaneroo 44]

Matthew 9:1~7; And he entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city. And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee. And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth. And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts? For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house. And he arose, and departed to his house.

The scriptures are clear. This was Jesus’  hometown. They brought to him one sick with the palsy and he heals him. When he heals him, the Pharisee has a problem. The pharisee’s problem is that this is blasphemy. How could he say that he had the power to forgive sins? Jesus asked; ‘which is easier? To tell him that his sins be forgiven him or to tell him to rise up and walk?’

Do you realise that they did not doubt that the man was healed? These were unbelievers who were believing. The problem was not the miracle. The problem was blasphemy.

I have learnt that nobody can criticise you when they doubt that you can do something. Nobody can attack you if they don’t know that you can. No one attacks something without ability. They did not doubt that he was a healer. Their problem was blasphemy. There now goes the paradox.

If you study your life and see the total sum of the things that are fighting you, you will find that it is all proof that God is at work in your life ;look at the way things attack you or fight you. If you had no God, some of those things will have no business in your life.

When the scriptures speak of the sower and the seed, it speaks of that seed who are those against whom trouble and persecution arises on account of the word. This is why trouble and persecution comes. People have convinced the world that everything that happens in a Christian’s life is because of generational curses. If Joseph lived in this day and age, considering all that he had been through, he would have been told that he had a spirit of rejection.

But I have told Christians that there is no such thing as a spirit of rejection. The book of proverbs calls it poverty. The bible says that the poor man is rejected. Just get money. When people ignore you, just say, ‘father I thank you because I am rich.’ Just start to wire money to yourself; the people will come; you will get friends.

Christians are poor becuse they want to be poor. The principles are clear in the bible. The Bible says money answers all things. There is a way to call it. When Paul says that he knows how to be full and how to be abase, he knows how. The Christian must know how.

When Joseph was made governor, do you see how many came to him? There was no need to cast out a spirit of rejection. He just became governor. That is all you need. So if you feel rejected, just get money.  Unfortunately in the Christendom today, everything is attributed to generational curses. They keep breaking but nothing is happening. Some think that we do not do deliverance. We do, but only with ignorant people. But when you know the truth, you don’t need deliverance. It is the responsibility of truth to set you free.

Christians are dying every day because all they are being taught are demons. The Bible says that I would rather have you wise unto that which is good and simple concerning evil. Instead of telling you about the millions of demons on your grandfather, let me tell you about the good God.Let me tell you about the creator of heaven and earth, the alpha and omega. Why? The bible says that when you do this, the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. He will not allow it to take a week, a month or a year.

Someone can claim that they have suffered with an infirmity for twenty years. Twenty? Those that observe lying vanities shall forsake their own.mercies. Anything that is not godly is lying.

Why is it that when you got born again things became worse? You seemed better off before. Before you got born again, things were okay but after you gave your life to Christ, things seemed to worsen. You find a Christian who has been in this walk for almost fifty years and she looks beaten. Why? Because everytime, they are breaking generational curses. I would rather have you wise unto that which is good. The principle is that the moment wisdom comes into a man’s spirit, the devil is crashed.

The Bible says that whosoever the son sets free is free indeed. If you still see funny things in your life, the son did not set you free. Something else did.

The psalmist says that God performs all things for me. You need to start looking at your life as one where God is performing things for you and not demons. God will hide you as you watch the movie of demons and your enemies falling around you. Blessed be the Lord which performeth all things for me.

Any tongue that rises against you in judgment is condemned. It does not matter whether you are wrong because he is performing all things for you. Whether you are fake or not, he is on your side. The days of trampling on us are over.We know who we are. Do not play with somebody whom God died for. They don’t rob us; they dont bewitch us; they don’t fire us.

So, I had a problem with believers who do not believe in the work of the spirit and unbelievers who are trying hard to cover up what they believe. There are Christians who do not believe that it is working while there are unbelievers who believe that it is working and are trying to fight it. Look at any man who fought the Christ. He asked them,’for what work do you persecute me?’ The scriptures say that they hated him without cause. Why? They knew it was working.

Trouble and persecution comes because of the word. You receive too much not to attract trouble. We do not run away from trouble because the worst is not the worst. It is not what the doctor said. It is how you responded. It is not what anybody in your life said. It is how you responded. He said for our light afflictions which are but for a moment work for us a far more eternal weight of glory while we look not at the things that are seen. The things that are seen are temporal and the things that are not seen are eternal.

The unbeliever believes more in God than some Christians do. Remember when Jesus had just resurrected? The chief priests and Pharisees believed so much in the resurrection of Jesus that they could pay for the story to change while some Christians still wonder if he really died. Who believes more?

In Isaiah he asks,’who shall believe our report?’who will believe you when you tell them that you did not sell your body? Our worry is not whether it will work but whether they shall believe our story. We are scared that people will not believe that it works. Who will believe? That is where we are going. They will have to ask questions and fail to get answers until they cannot explain us anymore. People are going to ask;how did she do it? Who shall believe our story?

You are coming out of the explainable zone. Your finances will not be explained. Your apprehension of the things of God will not be explained. The anointing of God upon your life Will not be explained. The increase of God in your life will not be explained. The multiplication of th glory of God upon your life will not be explained. Who will believe our report?

Let me share a secret with you. One time Jesus found Peter and his friends who had been  fishing the whole night. He told them to cast their nets to the right. They told him that they had been fishing the whole night but had caught nothing. He told them to launch into the deep. They did and caught too much fish. I asked the Holy Ghost why he had done that and he told me that the only way you can get a man off fishing is proving to him that you can measure the amount of fish for any man. For some of us, God needed to prove to us that he could look after us enough for us to leave our jobs and preach the gospel. He needed to prove to us that he was bigger than our jobs. The man tried to fish the whole day and failed to catch fish but at the word of one man he was able to catch more than he could hold. Which Peter can stay on that water when God had proved to him that he could get fish in one day that  would take Peter a month to get?He told him to get into the mouth of a fish and pay taxes. Peter knows a God who can pay taxes out of fish. Peter marvelled and the Lord told him that that was small. He would make him a fisher of men. It meant that he would attract men; to have a certain influence on men. What makes us fishermen is not fishing only; what makes us fishermen is the influence that we have on the lives of men.

When the Lord Jesus dies, Peter goes back fishing. But something funny happened. When the Lord resurrects, they find him on the shore and he asks them,’have you had anything to eat?’ He told them to cast their nets on the right and they returned with a multitude of fishes. When Peter realised that it was the Lord, he did not even wait for the boat to reach. He jumped into the water because he knew that Jesus was all he needed. You can try to fish and fail but when you carry Jesus, you will fish plenty.

God has not called you to seek him in vain. Things will happen for you. I understand why Isaiah said who shall believe our report because when you go back to the story in our opening scripture, Jesus is asking, ‘which is easier? To say your sins are forgiven thee or get up and walk.’ The answer is that it is easy to say than to do certain things.

Certain people will look at you and call you crazy, cult or lunatic and you will ask them, ‘which is easier?’ You will do the harder thing. When people doubt that you can not do it, you will do the harder thing.

Fainting Heroes

[Phaneroo 43]

Judges 15:11-19;  Then three thousand men of Judah went to the top of the rock Etam, and said to Samson, Knowest thou not that the Philistines are rulers over us? what is this that thou hast done unto us? And He said unto them, As they did unto me, so have I done unto them.

And they said unto him, We are come down to bind thee, that we may deliver thee into the hand of the Philistines. And Samson said unto them, Swear unto me, that ye will not fall upon me yourselves.

And they spake unto him, saying, No; but we will bind thee fast, and deliver thee into their hand: but surely we will not kill thee. And they bound him with two new cords, and brought him up from the rock.

And when He came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands.

And Samson said, With the jawbone of an ass, heaps upon heaps, with the jaw of an ass have I slain a thousand men. And it came to pass, when He had made an end of speaking, that He cast away the jawbone out of his hand, and called that place Ramathlehi.

And He was sore athirst, and called on the LORD, and said, Thou hast given this great deliverance into the hand of thy servant: and now shall I die for thirst, and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised? But God clave an hollow place that was in the jaw, and there came water thereout; and when He had drunk, his spirit came again, and He revived: wherefore He called the name thereof Enhakkore, which is in Lehi unto this day.

Samson’s mind was that ‘having given me victory Lord, Shall you now leave me to die of thirst?’ The language of the 19th verse should have been ‘and God clave an hollow place in the jaw.’ Instead it is ‘but God clave an hollow place in the jaw.’ Samson said something but God did another thing. Even though the Lord brought water, there was an error in verse 18 but the Lord did not show him anger. This was God being  disappointed in how Samson prayed but the Lord gave him water anyway. It means that the prayer Samson made was a wrong prayer.

The Lord was not satisfied with how Samson prayed but God gave him an answer. I realised that there are many Christians who pray the wrong way but still get answers. They do not get the ‘and the Lord answer’ but get the ‘but the Lord answer’. There is a difference.

We have to go past the place where Samson prayed the wrong prayer to a place where he made the right prayer to create an ‘and’ in the 19th verse. The statement that came out of Samson’s mouth determined whether ‘and God was going to give him’ or ‘but God was going to give him.’

Every time you see ‘but’ in the scriptures, there is a change of course and a change of mind. Even.though Samson received an answer, the mind of the spirit was not in agreement with the way he prayed. Sometimes the grace of God can distribute in our ignorance because in the days of ignorance the Lord winked. But now, he calls upon you to change your mind and your thinking because that is the essence of the word. That you might be renewed by the changing of your mind;that you might know that good and perfect will of God concerning your life. All things are permissible but not all things are precious. When you learn to separate the precious from the vile then shall you be a mouth piece for the Lord.

Even though things seem like they are true to you, they might not be true by the spirit. Even though some peope get answered prayer, they get it with a ‘but’ to it. You need to shift from the but experience to the and experience because in the but experience  even though God will answer your prayer Samson, he will have issues with you. God is too gracious that he will answer a man who is ignorant in prayer. That man will think that it is the right way to pray because he got an answer. However, when that man grows in God, he will realise that it was a but when it should have been an and.

One day such a man will pray such a prayer when he needs an answer and he will not get an answer. He will ask ‘How come the other day I prayed exactly this way and it worked but today it has not worked?’ It is because you are submitting your God to the mind of patterns yet your God was interested in a relationship.

God is not one dimensional. Some body one day sprinkled salt around their house  and the demons left. Now whenever there are demons, they use salt. It became tradition. Another used anointing oil one day on a demon possessed man and it worked. Now they move with anointing oil bottles. It is not bad. But how about the fact that now you carry the anointing of God? Even when you do not have the oil, you are enough. The Bible says we have this annointing;this unction from on high.

Someone gets tugged to the fact that since they prayed a certain way the last time, then they ought to pray that way again. God looks at them and thinks: they do not know the difference between the last prayer they made and my grace and mercy to bail them out of their ignorance and still answer their prayer because I am Jehovah God. He is not pleased but he has to answer because he has to live up to his word like he promised.

However he wills that he answers with an ‘and’ to it. Rogers did this and the Lord did that. Ritah said this and the Lord did that. It is wrong for Grace to do this but the Lord does that. Even though it is what Samson wanted and his spirit was revived, it was revived with a wrong mindset of prayer. God has called us to know how to prayer.

The reason why Christians pray but do not get answers is because they know not how to pray. If you prayed but did not get an answer it is because you prayed the wrong way. If the mind of the spirit is not revealed to you, you will not know how to pray. It is like the intercessor who does not know the mind of the spirit but is interceding for the ministry. You must first know the mind of the spirit before you to to prayer.

When Many Christians read the portion of scripture about Samson, many of them read ‘and’ instead of ‘but’ and as such, they take very indifferent requests to God, such as ‘now that you have given me victory, Shall you leave me to die of thirst?’They even make it a testimony. They put an ‘and’ yet with the spirit it had stayed a ‘but’.

To God, the imagination that he can give you victory but not give you Grace to enjoy it is quite funny. He will give you the water anyway because he realizes that you are still young.  Samson should have said,’ Thank you for the victory and thank you for the water.’ We do not see to believe. We believe to see. Samson was questioning God to see. God was looking at a Kiddish man pray. Samson was a big strong baby.

When you thirst on the way, you cannot accuse God of being capable of abandoning you. There must be provision. If he gives you a car, don’t ask where the fuel will come from. We are not of them   that draw back. The stiffer issues become, the stiffer we become. The love of God ought to push you to certain extremities. Love must push you to the extreme.

Nothing shall separate us from this love. He loves you. It is alright. It does not matter what you are going through. It is okay.  Remove ‘buts’ out of your relationship. It has to be an ‘and’ experience. It is what God is doing because of how you are living with him. When God says he has called you, anything you will need on your way is an ‘and’ response because he began it.

Understanding Our Times

Phaneroo 41
[Psalms 74:9];  We see not our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any that knoweth how long.

The Psalmist speaks of a situation when people were existing in a world where they could not see their own signs.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 says that to every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. It means that if God has to purpose on the earth, he will do it through the dispensation of seasons and times.

The place of season is the vibe he sends out in the spirit for you to sense that it is coming. The place of timing is that of your nipping in; getting a hold of it.

Every man in this world has an appointed time. There may be seasons for us as a church but every individual has their own time. We can say that this is a season of increase but there is a time of increase for every individual.

Every time there is an understanding of the times, a man will know what to do. There is no way a man will never know the times if he does not know the signs. God is seeking that you may know your sign.

Look at the man at the pool of Bethesda. He dwelt there for thirty eight years. The Bible says that at a certain season, an angel always stirred up the waters. This man’s problem was a sign. For thirty eight years, he was around something for which he could not sense a sign for. He thought he needed a man. He did not need a man. He just needed a sign.

Do you know how many people for whom God has stirred up seasons and set times but they know not the signs? Like Psalms 74:9 says, if a sign is not revealed, then at least a man should have a prophet.

However, there is a dispensation when men know not their signs, have no prophets and they know not. That is the situation in Amos 8. The scriptures say in Amos 8:11– 13; Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:  And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.  In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.

This famine was sent by God himself. But there is nothing as bad as having famine in the land and a thirst yet there is nothing to fill it.

Contrast this with the situation in Isaiah. Isaiah 30: 20-21 says; And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers: And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.

For these, though they ate the bread of adversity, their teachers were not removed. Why is there a hope?It is because the teachers were still present. It did not matter that they were eating the bread of adversity and drinking the waters of affliction. The teachers were there. God started to distribute the spirit on any message they preached because there were teachers. If a man does not know his sign, he needs a prophet. If he does need a prophet; he needs a teacher.

What is in Isaiah is different from what is in Amos. In Amos, God himself causes a famine but the young virgins faint. It means that in this dispensation, men will search out and not find. These are people looking for the word every where but they cannot find it. There will exist a kind of preachers, teachers or ministry but not the kind that they need. This is why men walk out of churches; it is because we do not speak Christ to them; we speak politics.

But the church has grown up. We do not want to know that this year we will have cars and build houses. We want things that money cannot buy. We want to know the divine purpose of God upon our lives. There is something bigger than the houses we will build, the cars we will drive or the jobs we will have. It is called the purpose of God.

These men in the word wondered from sea to sea. This is from the Mediterranean sea to the dead sea. When you read about the east and west in the scriptures you realise that east and west is the movement of the sun. The sun rises in the east and.sets in the west. When the bible says that the entrance of thy word brings light  the place of the sun is the figurative definition of the word of God entering and it going out. When.they moved sea to sea, dead sea to Mediterranean, east to west, they first went where the word was going out. They realised that they did not have an answer so they moved north and after word went where the word was entering in but still found no answer.  They began from the south where the dead sea is and where Jerusalem(church) is. So they left church, went to the Mediterranean where the word goes out found there was no answer and went to the north and after going to the north they went to the east.  All they are looking for is the connection between how the word enters and how it should go out. How should the word come into my spirit and how should it come out. I see men from whom words are coming out but it doesn’t look as though the words really entered their spirits. If they did, then faith would be unfeigned. In the dispensation of Timothy, we see men whose faith is feigned. They speak of a God who heals but he does not heal. They can’t make him heal. They can’t believe him to heal. If you say it’s working but it is not then it did not come out of your spirit. It came out of head knowledge;out of notes; You read a nice book.

I don’t want something that comes out  of a nice book. I want something that comes from Jehovah God. That if you say God is a healer, he must heal. When you say God comforts he must comfort. When you say God uplifts, he must uplift. When you say God multiplies he must multiply. When you say God increases he must increase. When you say God speaks he must speak. I realise that Even though you speak all these words, you don’t really believe them. They are not in your spirit because you have not reached the end of the commandment. You have not reached the end of the commandment because you are still in the north.

But now, the reality of the spirit must change our lives in a certain way. Men must look at us and say, ‘people walked the surface of the earth but that man or woman had God.’

The Mind of His Grace 3

[Phaneroo 40]

Galatians 2:16 MSG:  We Jews know that we have no advantage of birth over “non-Jewish sinners.” We know very well that we are not set right with God by rule-keeping but only through personal faith in Jesus Christ. How do we know? We tried it—and we had the best system of rules the world has ever seen! Convinced that no human being can please God by self-improvement, we believed in Jesus as the Messiah so that we might be set right before God by trusting in the Messiah, not by trying to be good.

One of the most sensitive wars in the Christian circles is the idea of humanism; the mind that asserts no existence of God and directs all things to the power of the human being to do everything. It has crept into Christianity.

There are humanistic Christians. Even if they can confess that there is a God above them, he is not responsible for their lives, morality and future. He just watches over them to ensure that they do things as best as they can. This is the very reason for self help books. A man helps himself so that God can move.

However, you must understand that when you create an atmosphere of helping yourself, that is where filth comes from. Christianity does not ask you to help yourself. It brings Jesus to help you.

Many Christians are trying to be good. They think that Christianity is doing the right thing. They do not understand that the power in Christianity is a life; that life is Jesus. That is what men need. He is the ever present help in time of need; he is not the ever present helper. It means that he goes past sympathy to empathy; he gets inside your situation and becomes part of the solution. Stop dealing with Jesus as just the present helper but the present help.
