Judges 7:2(KJV); And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me.
Gideon was all set for battle against the Midianites with an impressive army of thirty-two thousand men.
The Lord told him that those people were too many for Him to give Gideon victory. He cut the number down to three hundred men!
How does this translate to the life of the Christian?
There are Christians with too many connections for God to help them; they are ‘too educated’ for God to raise them up . There is too much around them that gives them comfort and security for them to depend entirely on God.
God does not want to win your battles on your terms. He doesn’t want to use your connections as a stepping stone to launch you into your destiny. He doesn’t want to lean on your credentials to open doors for you. He wants the world to look at your success story and come to only one conclusion, that it was Him alone at work in you.
Are you clinging too hard to your abilities, your friends, your relatives, or your academic papers? All that is too much for God to give you victory in that war.
Don’t set your eyes on what you have, set your eyes on Him, He is the ultimate source of victory.

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this Word. Thank You for the constant victory that I have in You. My heart and spirit are yielded to You and what You desire to do. I choose to live life fully on your terms and not my own. You are my connector, you are my door and you are my opportunity. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Hebrews 11:3(KJV); Through faith, we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Worlds were created and framed by the Word of God.
This means that the degree of the revelation of the Word in your spirit defines the world in which you function.
For example, the law is a world. It is more than a doctrine or a teaching, it is a world.
In Hebrews 7:28, the Bible says, “For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated forevermore.”
If you are under the law, your world will always be subject to infirmity. Everything you do will always be tainted by weakness, deficiency, frailty and inability.
Infirmity will always shape your view of the world. You will see the world as a place of toil and the struggle to get by.
When you shift from the law to grace, your world also changes. Your perspective of life becomes different. You look at the world through the eyes of a victor, one above and not beneath, the head and never a tail and as one who can do all things by Christ who strengthens us.
I urge you this day to embrace grace, make it your world, allow it to dictate your point of view, your ideals, perspectives and your dreams.

John 5:5-7(KJV); And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.
It is vital and extremely critical for every child of God to walk in the graces of distinction. When a man does not walk in these graces, he inevitably submits himself to the dictates of merit.
What merit does is that the first man takes it all. A child of God struggling under the burden of merit can only hope to be lucky; he or she survives by competition.
This was part of the dilemma of the man at the pool of Bethesda. He was lacking in distinction and operating at the same level as many people at the pool. The disastrous effect was an infirmity spanning thirty-eight long years.
What a tragedy!
The fact of life is that there will always be someone who will get into the pool before you: someone who applied for the job before you; someone who prayed before you; someone who fasted before you; someone who read before you.
When God gives you distinction, you can still have that healing even if you don’t step into the pool; you can have the job whether you applied last for it or didn’t apply for it. You can have that opportunity even when you are the least qualified.
Look at Paul, a man who did not get the opportunity to see Christ in the flesh. He says of himself that he was as one born out of due time (1 Corinthians 15:8). But what did distinction do for him? He wrote almost three-quarters of the New Testament, out writing those that walked with Christ, ate with Him, and saw Him perform miracles.
You must settle it in your spirit that you are different. You may look like and talk like everyone around you but you are special! There is a great and mighty call of God upon your life. Greatness is in the inside of you and is bubbling, waiting to burst forth.

GOLDEN NUGGET: You must settle it in your spirit that you are different. You may look like and talk like everyone around you but you are special! There is a great and mighty call of God upon your life. Greatness is in the inside of you and is bubbling, waiting to burst forth.
PRAYER: Father, I thank You for this knowledge. I arise to the reality of what I am and what I have in You. The light that shines out of my spirit has set me apart from ordinary people. I do not qualify for greatness by merit; I qualify because of what You have done in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Job 33:4 (KJV); The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.
The kingdom of God is not a meritocracy.
Your success, growth, and achievements in the realm of God have nothing to do with how much you do in your own power, your academic qualifications or your impressive disciplines but how much of the revelation of the knowledge of God and His anointing is at work in your spirit and in your life.
Achievers in the realm God are Spirit-made, not self-made. The anointing upon your life will always make the difference.
Take the example of the life of Paul. In 1 Corinthians 2:1, he lays out how inadequate his CV was. He says, “And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.”
In 1 Corinthians 1:26 – 27, he goes on to say, “For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise, and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty.”
God understood the imbalances in the physical world that make any form of competition unfavorable.
Life in its natural state is quite unfair. Not everyone is born with a silver spoon in their mouth; not everyone is from a pedigreed background. Not everyone’s blood is so blue it can be traced right back to the first royals to ever grace the earth.
What did God do? He gave you the Holy Spirit.
Understand that the Spirit of the Lord has made you and by virtue of this truth, you are more than ordinary. It is Him alone who distinguishes you and causes you to shine out of the crowd.
You are as strong, as wise and as distinctive as the Spirit has made you.

2 Kings 6:15-17 (AMP); When the servant of the man of God rose early and went out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was around the city. Elisha’s servant said to him, Alas, my master! What shall we do? [Elisha] answered, Fear not; for those with us are more than those with them. Then Elisha prayed, Lord, I pray You, open his eyes that he may see. And the Lord opened the young man’s eyes, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.
One day, the king of Syria, frustrated by how Elisha had singlehandedly breached his military intelligence and had somehow gained an invisible front row seat in the king’s war planning meetings, decided that the next military strategy would be to capture Elisha (2 Kings 6:8-14).
In our theme scripture, Elisha’s servant awakens to an entire army surrounding the city. In a state of despair, he exclaims, “What shall we do?!”
Elisha responds with the calmness of a man with spiritual sight. “Fear not, for those with us are more than those with them.”
The most interesting part of this scripture is that when God opened the eyes of Elisha’s servant, he saw “the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.” They were not around the servant and Elisha, they were not around the city, they were around only Elisha.
By spiritual principle, what you cannot see is not yours to own.
The hosts were there for Elisha’s sake because he was a man of spiritual sight and by divine vision, he was entitled to what he beheld. Possession is the privilege of a man who sees; uncertainty is the kinsman of he who is blind.
Everything you are believing God for becomes yours in the instant it is revealed to you and you see it through the eyes of revelation.
As believers, we don’t just pray. We pray to see.

James 1:18(KJV); Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
The uniqueness of the new creature in Christ can never be overstated.
Our theme scripture reveals that by the Word, God begat us.
The meditations of God’s Spirit before He formed and fashioned the new creature in Christ were of the Word, and out of the fullness of the Word, He created you.
Think about it intently for a moment!
By the Word, the worlds were fashioned. By this Word, life was spoken into existence. By this Word, times and seasons came into play.

Job went through a furnace of misery, pain and loss. He lost his property, his children, struggled with bodily affliction and looked to death as a merciful alternative(Job 1). He suffered in a short span of time what many people combined would never suffer in an entire lifetime.
But what does the scripture say about the end of Job’s plight?
Our theme scripture calls it “the end of the Lord.” This is the vision that any man of faith must behold in the midst of any form of adversity or affliction.
Sometimes, when people are caught up in the fires of life, all they behold is more pain; more devastation, more destruction. God wants you to see and behold an end with Him written all over it.
Yes, the business is seemingly on a downward spiral, do you see bankruptcy? See the Lord.
Yes, the doctor gave you a negative report about how advanced that disease is. Do you see death? See the Lord.
Yes, your boss has been giving you a very hard time at your workplace and has unfairly accused you before your superiors. Do you see a dismissal? See the Lord.
Some people think that at the end of every affliction is the devil, rubbing his hands with glee. No! At the end of every storm in life is God, His arms wide open, assuring you that the best is yet to come; that you are shining brighter than ever before; that He turns into good what was meant to destroy you.

Yakobo 5:11: Angalieni, twawaita heri wao waliosubiri. Mmesikia habari ya subira yake Ayubu, mmeuona mwisho wa Bwana ya kwamba Bwana ni mwingi wa rehema, mwenye huruma.
Ayubu alipitia tanuru ya shida, maumivu na hasara. Alipoteza mali yake, watoto wake, akapambana na shida za mwili na akatazama kifo kama njia mbadala ya rehema (Ayubu 1). Aliteseka kwa muda mfupi tu ambao watu wengi pamoja hawangeweza kuteseka katika maisha yote.
Lakini andiko linasema nini kuhusu mwisho wa shida ya Ayubu?
Andiko letu la mada linaiita “mwisho wa Bwana.” Haya ni maono ambayo mtu yeyote wa imani lazima aone katikati ya maadui au shida.
Wakati mwingine, wakati watu wanashikwa kwenye moto za maisha, yote wanayoona ni uchungu zaidi; maumivu zaidi, uharibifu zaidi. Mungu anataka uone na kutazama mwisho ulioandikwa na yeye.
Ndio, biashara inaonekana kushuka, je, unaona kufilisika? Tazama Bwana.
Ndio, daktari alikupa ripoti mbaya kuhusu jinsi ugonjwa huo ulivyozidi. Je! Unaona kifo? Mtazame Bwana.
Ndio, bosi wako amekupa wakati mgumu mahali pa kazi na amekushtaki mbele ya wakurugenzi wako. Unaona kufutwa kazi? Mtazame Bwana.
Watu wengine wanafikiria kwamba mwisho wa kila shida ni ibilisi, na kusugua mikono yake na machozi. Hapana! Isaiah 38:5-6(KJV); Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the Lord, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years. And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this city.
When God added fifteen more years to Hezekiah’s life, He also promised him deliverance from the attacks of the king of Assyria and defence of his city. A longer life was accompanied by peace.
Herein is a great and enduring lesson on how God deals with us as His children. It is not His intention to give you long life yet you are troubled by enemies on every side.
In the same way, God does not want to give you a child and that child struggles with drug addiction. He does not want to give you a job and that job becomes a burden. He does not want to give you a marriage and that marriage robs you of any peace and tranquillity. He doesn’t want to give you a business and watch you struggle with a hostile business environment.
The Bible reveals that His blessing makes rich and adds no sorrow with it (Proverbs 10:22).
Let this mind define your expectations. If God has promised you a child, He also promised to keep and preserve him. If God promised you success in ministry, He promised the people and the resources that you need. His blessing comes with the power, ability and grace for you to enjoy it to the fullest.

God is willing and eager to show Himself as strong on behalf of those whose heart is perfect toward Him. He is on the look out for such men and women.
The question then is, what is a perfect heart?
Some assume that this perfect heart is that of a man who is morally upright. Morality is good and important but the world is full of moral atheists. They are not perfect in His sight. There are those who pray and fast faithfully but they do not believe God. They never receive answers because they are wanting in the perfection that God desires in the heart of a man.
A perfect heart is a heart of faith because there is no perfection in God without faith.
This perfection is the difference between those who seek God and those whom God seeks.
While there are people on mountaintops seeking Him vehemently yet He seems to retreat further away from them, God is on the other hand eagerly looking for those that have made up their minds to believe Him no matter the circumstances of their lives. He is searching for that man and woman who has counted the cost, laid his or her heart on the altar and is ready for the fire.
This is why faith is the basis of all we do, it is the life force of the Christian.
Make the choice to believe God today. Believe that He is using You. Believe that You are taught of Him. Believe that You are strong in Him. Believe that He has made you all that He wants you to be.

Genesis 1:26-27(KJV); And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
When God created man in Genesis 1:26, He created a man in spirit. That is why this man carried the image and likeness of God. Understand that when the Bible speaks of image and likeness, it does not mean image and likeness in body or flesh. It was a likeness in spirit. The man with a body came later in Genesis 2:7.
It was the spirit man of Genesis 1:26 that was given dominion over the fish of the sea, the fowl of the air and over everything upon the earth.
What does this teach us about dominion?
True dominion can only begin from the spirit realm. We conquer on the earth what we have tamed in the spirit. We influence in the physical realm, what we have influenced in the spirit.
Like Christ said in Matthew 18:18(AMP); “Truly I tell you, whatever you forbid and declare to be improper and unlawful on earth must be what is ALREADY forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit and declare proper and lawful on earth must be what is ALREADY permitted in heaven.”
Often times, the Church of Christ teaches dominion without understanding the primary place of dominion. Christians are being taught how to win in the marketplace through hard work and diligence(which are very important principles) but they are not reminded of where winning starts from.
The mountains of influence that many seek to conquer are first conquered in the realm of spirits.
You are a spirit man and win like a spirit man. The winning of a spirit man is vastly different from that of a soulish man. The victory of the spirit man is a past tense affair. The victory of a man of the soul is futuristic. Let this understanding dictate your quest for success. Let this consciousness be the cornerstone of your ambition.

Genesis 2:7(KJV); And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Life has a hierarchy to it. There are forms of life which are quite low on the scale of life. Plantlife is a form of life; animal life is a form of life; human life is a form of life. These forms of life vary in rank.
It is also important to understand that not all forms of life came about the same way.
In our theme scripture, human life came about when God breathed into the body of a man moulded from the ground. This is not how plant life came about and neither is it how animal life came to be.
One of the biggest deceptions of humanity is the thought that human life is the epitome of true life in the mind of God. Because of this deception, so much in this world is built on and for the sustenance of man as a living soul.
But that is not all there is to life in the mind of God. There is such a thing as “higher life.” This is the life that comes with salvation; the scriptures call this eternal life.
The church sometimes focuses too much on improving human life as we know it instead of cultivating people’s understanding of the higher life in God. The betterment of the quality of human life is a good cause. The strengthening of the life of the Spirit man is a greater cause.
More than ever, God is calling us to arise to the consciousness of higher life realities. Can our sermons change from how a man can get to live in a better home to how he can be strengthened in the inner man? Can our prayers change from access to money for a better meal to how we can feed the spirit on more than milk? Can we move from preaching about visas and passports for the physical places a man can globe-trot to the expanses in the spirit realm they can explore?
Change your meditation and confession child of God! Eternal life is now. Look to the higher life because it is what you have been called to.

Amagara gaine ebika birikukirakirana. Hariho ebika by’amagara abiri aha rurengo rw’ahansi ahaminzaani ey’amagara. Amagara g’ebimera n’ekika ky’amagara; Amagara g’enyamaishwa n’ekika ekindi; Amagara g’abantu nago n’ekika ekindi. Ebika by’amagara ebi nibikirakirana.

Genesis 2:7(KJV); And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Every man in the first Adamic line is merely a living soul, like our theme scripture reveals. Any man in the Christ line is a spirit(John 3:6).
A soulish man functions differently from a man of the spirit.
If you function by the soul, you will always need the vindication of the flesh or body to demonstrate the strength of your convictions. What does this mean?
Take prayer for example. A man functioning purely in the soulish realm will not feel like his prayer is effectual until it is demonstrated through expressions of the body like tears, shouts, raising hands or bowing down. It does not mean that the actions are in themselves wrong. However, the soul will only define fervency through such bodily expressions.
This is not how the man of the spirit lives or relates with God. The spirit carries an authority in and by itself that does not need external expression for its vindication. When a man of the spirit prays, he does not have to shout in tongues; even a simple sigh can heal a man. Look at Jesus Christ after Lazarus died and those around him were weeping. The Bible says that he groaned in his spirit (John 11:33) That groan was enough substance in prayer to raise a dead man.
That is your life too as a child of God. The merest words from you without any accompanying semantics and theatrics yield great results. You don’t have to vibrate while prophesying, a single word from you simply spoken, carries the potency of the oracles of God.
